What's great about it: Integrated speakers, 19"-inches worth of display, with small desktop footprint What's not so great: Speaker volume not "too" loud but perfect for small bedroom or office
"Said it all in the title - for $150, this is an outstanding value. Monitor has integrated VGA and DVI connections, which make it excellent for newer digital video computers or the older analog (VGA) video computers.
Built-in speakers are much appreciated since if you don't need huge sound in small rooms, then this avoids having to add additional desktop speakers, which will take up more space.
I use it with a Mac-Mini desktop computer for my daughter's room. Perfect for Internet or DVD game play!"

"This Compaq Widescreen LCD monitor is a very great monitor. The screen is large but the build-in speakers are not loud enough. Instead, I brought my own PC speakers. But this is a great monitor and the colors are excellent."

What's great about it: Nice Picture, Easy Set Up What's not so great: Alternative Hookups(only VGA)
"Originally was going to use the monitor with the desktop but opted to keep older monitor with new CPU and converted this monitor to a LCD tv in the guest room with a tuner box purchased elsewhere. Sound quality is ok (could be more OOMPH) but picture quality and integration to cable is ok. Is a great monitor that could be used with the computer or as a stand alone tv with proper accessories."

What's great about it: One thing i like in particular is the sleeck and smoothe design, it fits well with other furniture of its kind. What's not so great: whats not so great is the speaker sounds, these build in speakers don't give out much volume

A very good Monitor for the Price01/12/2009

What's great about it: Ease of Set up, Good Drivers right from the box I did not need to hunt them down on the internet What's not so great: Did not come with a DVI cable
"My 6 year old 21 inch CRT had finally died and I needed a replacement (this is for the Kids PC and the world had come to an end for them), this one was just what was needed. Picked it up at the Store, No dead pixels, no Color smears, no bright or dim spots, no stuck pixels. The images are crisp and clear with only slightly less real estate then the old monitor. I bought it for $129.00 but I would still pick it up at the current price of $149.00. The built in Speakers are 4 watts (better then a lot of other monitors) so are a bit limited when the kids are gaming"

What's great about it: This monitor is at a great price and has very good specs. I think it is a steal at $129. What's not so great: I have only had it for a few hours, but I can tell it is going to be great.
"I am an I.T. guy at my work and I deal with lots of different LCD's. I think this one is one of the best picture displays I have seen in a while. The price that I got it for too at $129 is a steal. I know it is regularly priced at $149, but I would still buy it over alot of the other ones. Most 17" aren't even priced at $149."

What's great about it: cant beat the price, easy to set up. What's not so great: built in speakers arnt so great
"i had an old crt monitor so it was time to upgrade. went to local best buy to buy a samsung monitor that was on sale for 149. of course it was sold out. buty salesman pointed out this compaq the picture is great very clear crisp images. and it was only 129. cant beat that. built in speakers arnt the greatest but dont have to use them.anyway great monitor at a great price."
