What's great about it: Refrigator works well and keeps food cold. Great size for space and proportioned well.
What's not so great: Flawed design. Freezer door prevents basket pull out. No rollers as well.
Model not available on floor when ordered. Website did not show opening configuration. Horizontal bar on bottom freezer suggested pull out drawer style, but when delivered had side opening instead. All other floor models had pull out drawers and, with horizontal bar, no reason to think otherwise. I needed the 30" width for my kitchen, and had ample room with inches to spare. Unfortunately, when appliance was in place with the doors reversed as needed, the freezer door opened out to 110 degrees, well beyond the usual 90 degrees. However, freezer door needs to be swung out to 140 degrees in order to pull out the freezer basket. I can get it out two inches untll the freezer door prevents any further movement. Not only can't I get to my frozen food without getting down on the floor, the basket has no rollers. Even the two inch movement is difficult and I need help to push it back in. Basic engineering design flaw and deceptive in function.. In addition, GE refused to acknowledge any problem and said it was not their problem if my kiitchen is too small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
