What's great about it: Print quality and printing speed
What's not so great: VERY high cost of toner
The print quality is excellent however after a printing less than 1000 pages I had to replace the black and blue toner cartridges and the annoying notices tell me I have only 150 pages left on the yellow cartridge.
The color density of what I am printing is not high and so I expected far better yield from the toner than I received.
At over $120/cartridge its very poor value for money. It's almost cheaper to buy a new printer than replace the cartridges - 3 x 125 = 375, printer cost 399!
For the record, I love HP and have always used their products exclusively. This one really disappoints.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, not too big, and excellent print quality!
What's not so great: Toner is a bit expensive.
This printer is worth the price! Excellent print quality, good features and relatively quiet operation. Once you calibrate the printer, the print quality is amazing on all kinds of paper. I recommend this printer for everybody! Getting rid of my photo quality inkjet after this purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Insanely easy to set up I think it was all of 4 steps, really fast!
What's not so great: Price seems high but proving to be worth it.
Compared to those free color printers you receive with computers this is epic. It was a little scary when I first plugged it in cause it sounded like a airplane in my house for a good 15 minutes then it calmed down. Took little time to calibrate! It didn't include a USB cord to connect directly to computer, but luckily I had a extra Ethernet cord and just plugged it into a switch and my computer found it on the network instantly. My vista also didn't have the drivers, but the CD install took about 2 seconds. When it was done installing I had it print a test page, and the windows icon looked so good I had the urge to find high resolution pictures off the internet to print =D
If you're looking for a fast color printer and have the money I definitely recommend going for this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
