What's great about it: Great reception, good price, easy to set up
What's not so great: As with any antenna, you have to do research to know which direction to point it
This antenna was easy to set up and has excellent reception. As with any antenna, I had to do some research as to where my towers were so that I knew which direction to point it. When it was pointed in the right direction, the reception was perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: could not get in all local channels
sales person praised this item, saying i could put it anyway and get great reception. after over 2 hours of moving it around, i still could not get in all the main local channels so ended up going back to my $15 "cheap" antenna

It was nice and portable, but that was about all. I have nothing else to say about the product. It did not help with our reception anymore than our outside roof antenna.

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: the coax cable is not included.
Cut the cable immediately!!!
It took me less than 10 min to assemble the antenna, connect the antenna with the TV via coax cable, scan for channels (automatic)...and ...VOILA !!!!!
Crystal clear 30+ channels ... with the antenna behind the TV and our home is about 45ml way from the towers. We would probably get a lot more channels if the we place the antenna outside or on the attic .Best ever spent 100 bucks :) We wil never go back to cable, dish or any other paying TV.

What's great about it: Small size with good reception
Easy to set up & good value for the price. Mounted it in an enclosed screened in porch as the area will not allow any type of outdoor antenna. Has some fading in strong wind.

What's great about it: Great reception on all UHF channels
What's not so great: Not designed for lower end VHF signals
I live about 30 miles outside of Metro Atlanta, and I can get all the channels that are available in my market. In order to get the very low end VHF channels (2 -6) I had to aim the antenna very carefully. For the High end VHF and all UHF channels, the position of the antenna wasn't as important as it seemed to pick up everything pretty easily. I was not able to spit the signal from this antenna without an amplifier, but when connected with one set without an amplifier there are no signal strength problems at all.

What's not so great: This antenna would not pick up PBS.
The salesman said this antenna would pick up any channel, but it didn't pick up PBS from Hutchinson, which is well within 50 miles of our home. It doesn't have an amplifier either. But we couldn't return it because it was just over 30 days by the time we gave up on it. What a waste of money!

What's great about it: Great reception, light weight, tolerant on signal reception
What's not so great: Price is up there, but it came with a new Tivo Premier so I can't really complain
This system is just what I needed. I have no cable so a good HD capable over the air antenna is what I needed to get TV in my new location. This one came with a free Tivo Premier DVR, just needed to sign up with Tivo for a year of service, (which I planned on getting anyway.)
Reception is crystal clear for all channels within a 55 mile range. I only have issues with the marginal channels (all fringe or low power transmitters) but none of those are hi demand channels. I get all the majors, plus all the PBSs and some that aren't advertised, (but great to watch anyhow.) I would definitely buy this again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was kind of skeptical at first because I am familiar with the big older style tv antennas. This works great. Picks up all the local free HD channels and was a breeze to set up. I mounted it to a 10' piece of 1.5 " PVC pipe and so far so good.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, good reception
What's not so great: For some channels, a signal booster helps
This is a great product that provides very good reception. I live about 26 miles away from the digital broadcasting transmitter in Chicago, and I receive all channels very well. There is one channel (Channel 2) that sometimes flickers, but with a signal booster it is coming in just fine. Installation was very easy on top of my garage roof with more or less a clear line of sight towards the transmitter. I even was able to split the signal with an inexpensive splitter and am getting great reception on two television sets. I especially like the included self tapping screws and the self adhesive "tar" strips to seal the holes as the screws are installed through the mounting bracket. The price for the product is a bit high, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than cable and satellite. And if it doesn't work for you, you can always return it to Best Buy for a refund. That's what convinced me to give it a try, and I'm glad that I did. I am so happy with this product.

What's not so great: not perfect reception all the time depending on weather
I got this with my Tivo and canceled my cable. I do not miss cable and I get 39 channels with this antenna between Cleveland and Akron stations. I love the PBS channels, as good as Discovery. We also like the retro channel with the great shows of the past. Great HD reception. As good or better then cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this for my little woodshop thinking that I would get 3 or 4 channels at the most, set antenna up without any problems, checked website to see where towers were pointed antenna towards nearest, ran channel search WOW ended up having 14 different stations: PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, a weather channel, a few other channels and a station called antenna movie channel. I am impressed.

What's not so great: This dosent work if you live in a rural area.
I got rid of my cable and wanted a cheap alternative, the sales person convinced me to try this package that included a Tivo player for FREE. The best deal ever, reception is so clear that you see the HD brilliance even better than cable and with the Tivo package, I don’t miss having cable at all.

I never thought you could get an HD picture without a cable box until I bought this product. However, the picture is still dependant on the broadcast. The channels in 1080i and 720P look like they are coming from an HD cable box. I thought about buying the very cheap and highly rated RCA antenna, however, I went with this one and I am glad I did. I started with it in front of the window, but it was an eye sore, so I put it in the corner behind the TV to see how it works and I am still receiving 32 channels from Cleveland, Akron, and even Pittsburg.
I would recommend this to a friend!
