What's great about it: Great TV - especially for the price
What's not so great: No Complaints.
"I bought this TV for the bedroom and cannot be happier. We have hi-def in the family room with 1080p and this 32" is 720p. Honestly, I cannot tell the difference. If you have not yet entered the hi-def TV world, this would be an in-expensive way to jump in!"

Great Picture for a 720p

What's great about it: Great picture quality for a 720p low cost TV
What's not so great: Remote
"I was more than pleased with the picture quality of this low cost 720p TV. Purchased for use as a computer monitor. When hooked to cable (No HD Set-top box) I was surprised at the beautiful colors and quality of picture. Decided to use TV in bedroom and buy another for computer monitor.
I read all reviews before purchasing, sound quality is not surround sound but very good for a low cost TV. Pull the trigger and enjoy the wonderful picture of this TV. ( I placed Dynex 32 TV side by side with my Zenith 1080p and there wasn't a great deal of difference in picture quality.)"

What's great about it: qiuck & easy set-up, great picture at a very fair & affordable price!
What's not so great: the dvd player sounds like its on its last leg when you insert & eject
"For use in a bedroom, its perfect! So easy to set up, I did it Christmas night, without my husbands help! Excellent picutre and the sound quality seems great too! Can't beat it for the price!"

"We purchased 2 HDTVs, this one and one from another retailer and different model. The other TV cost more, not as good of a picture or sound, and did not come with accessory cables. Wish I had checked Best Buy first."

Great Price, Good Picture, Basic Sound

"I bought this TV because of the price and the positive reviews from most consumers at Best Buy. The picture is really sharp and crisp for a 720P TV, no problem there. Setup was a snap, we had the TV up and running in 15 minutes. There is an abundant amount of ports and the TV has the standard tuners. The remote is basic but does the job. I was disappointed with the sound on this TV and found it below average. Having said that I am not an audiophile and can live with it as the price and picture positives outweigh the sound negatives. For the price this TV is definitely worth it."

"The tv is used for gaming. We have a Wii and PS3 hooked up to it and the tv is performing as expected. For the money its a really good value."

"My xbox looks ridiculously awesome on this tv. Im not sure why everyones complaining about the sound because the sound is perfectly fine to me. but overall if i didnt have to pay more for hd service from my provider im pretty sure that would look awesome to because im not paying all that extra money but great tv for great price."

What's great about it: When hooked up with HDMI it's fine.
What's not so great: The Contrast ratio is not that great.
"It's okay to play video games on, but when i tried to upscale my Blu ray Disc player with my DVDs, it made all of the images come in fuzzy even with an HDMI cable set to 1080p/24p."

"Love the TV and picture, but the sounds was really quite bad...very 'tin' sounding. Purchased better speakers for the TV and it made all the difference. Probably can find similar TV with better sound quality, in this same price range."

"We bought this tv about 5 days before Christmas 2009, and we seriously couldn't be happier. When shopping for a tv we were looking for something simple for our living room, and not too big as we live in a 1 bedroom apartment and our living room is pretty small. We were surprised how big it actually looked once we got it set up. Set up was very very simple, only took me about 10-15 minutes. Literally everything is great about this tv. The picture is very clear and the colors are very vivid. We were not sure about this tv at first because so many of the reviews said the sound quality wasn't great, but I must disagree. Be sure to set your sound to surround sound ON, and the sound is just great. So far I have no complaints and LOVE everthing about this tv. We paid $299 for this tv in store and are very satisfied with the price we paid. I HIGHLY recommend buying this tv. You will not be disappointed."

"I bought this tv as a gift and it was perfect. I also purchased a Dynex about 2 years ago for my room. It's only a 19 inch but I have never had a problem with it. Name brands are not always the best and lesser brands tend to turn into name brands because of their great quality. If I had to purchase anothe tv it would be a Dynex."

"I got this TV on black Friday online for a great price without to stay at huge lines from 5AM to get something less $$$$ .
Anyway , TV works great and plus for ONLY $29 you can get extended warranty . I am very happy with this TV because works perfect with Windows Media Center in HD mode . I am so happy with this product and hope is not gone late me down later ."

Great picture, below average sound

What's not so great: Sounds is weak as is typical of all 32" LCD TVs I've ever seen
"this is my second 32" LCD TV. I paid $300 for it the day after xmas online for instore pickup.
The TV is great, but the sound is average as is typical with every small LCD TV I've ever seen. I use this TV in my bedroom, and hung it on the wall. I had to spend another $7 on a power cord with a right angle male plug to allow for clearance. Other than that, no problems.
I have to turn the sound up quite a bit to hear it if even the furnace is running, and it sounds kind of tin canny. It's an easy fix, though, with one of those 'HT in a Box" kits.
I would say don't hesitate to buy this unit for $300."

"I bought this TV for its price and expected an average quality TV. I must say that i was surprised how how nice it is. I mainly use this TV for playing my game systems and using it as an additional laptop screen. Even though the description says 720p, some of my games and videos run at 1080p without any customization of the features. Overall this is an awesome TV for its price."
