What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Doesn't work on voice commands!
I always have been frugal wanting the best for less and Bargain Hunting is the only way. With two year warranty right out of the box you can't beat the warranty. And the Picture is excellent Sounds Great and the Tuner get all the channels very clearly.
Best Uses: Casual User (mostly watch TV shows), Movies

Overall a good TV. The picture is very good with a HDTV signal, OK with a standard signal or upconverted DVDs. The sound is good and the feature set is excellent. The only problem is that after a week the main board went out and had to be replaced.

What's great about it: Easy to use; great picture; great price and warranty
What's not so great: nothing so far
The Tv is great, but what a hassle to purchase it. There were none in the Best Buy store I was shopping in. They could obtain one from another store for me, but it would first have to be shipped to Washington, D.C. and then reshippedd back to the store in Pittburgh where I purchase it. This would take up to three weeks!!!!! Finally, with the help of an excellent person at Corporate(Joel), I was able to pick a set up at a nearby store.

What's great about it: Sound, picture, features- like auto volume ctrls during comm. breaks.
What's not so great: Channel labeling and editing vanishes without reason.
I really like this TV. It is big has a great picture and even with the basic 60hz is nothing to bat an eyelash about. Xbox 360 Games look great too. Final purchase decision was based on brand and value, so look no further for guaranteed satisfaction in your wallet.

What's great about it: 5* when Picture when its working.
What's not so great: Reliability of product
The picture was great when it worked. Had problem with the volume and a technician come out and he gave some lame excuse that its the cable box. I read reviews of other insignia TVs and they had issues with the sound. I gambled that some of the reviews were wrong before I purchased it and now I am sorry I did. The picture gave out in a year and they will not fix under warranty because they say its a panel and is not covered under the extended warranty. The cost to repair would have been more than purchasing another TV. READ the fine print of the extended warranty before purchasing because not everything is covered. Paying this much money for the use of a TV for only a year is not cost effective to me. I ended up having to buy another TV after a year.
I will not purchase another Insignia product. DO NOT make the same mistake I did.

What's great about it: Great Price, Excellent Picture, Worth Every Penny, Great Sound
What's not so great: Lacks Features Found in Higher End Models
I've owned this HDTV for about two months and have no reservations recommending it to anyone. Works well right out of the box without any configurations. Has a decent user menu to allow for common adjustments. Some reviewers mention 'white' lights coming from the corners - I haven't noticed this. Also, the sound is great especially in a bedroom. And the clarity of this television is hard to beat. Trust me on this one; I did a TON of research, visited the store way to much, and for where WE use it, this HDTV is perfect.

What's great about it: When it's on, everything.
What's not so great: Screen goes blank for 3-5 seconds without warning.
Stay away from this one; if you do some searching online, it's a common issue among Insignia at this point for many of their models to have a black-screen glitch where it acts like it has lost input from the source. The first occurance for me was 2 weeks after purchasing it; Geeksquad replaced the motherboard, but now the same issue is back again, and according to Insignia's forums, there's actually posts dating as far back as January, albeit not necessarily for this model.
Honestly, I'm both extremely pleased and extremely displeased with the TV. When it's actually functioning properly, it's a pleasure to watch. When it decides to blank out without warning in the middle of playing a game online? Not amusing or a pleasure in the slightest.
Supposedly Insignia's working on a fix for this as of sometime around mid February. It's April now and there's been very few updates on it; this isn't one I'd ever recommend to anyone. Shop up a different brand if you can afford it, and if you can't, wait until you can. I'm not the only one who isn't amused with Insignia at this point.

What's great about it: Has a good picture, very bright, good price.
What's not so great: Color is not the best, sound sucks.
I am overall happy with this TV, although after buying this TV I wished I had spent the extra money on a 120hz TV. The picture on the TV looks great but the motion could be smoother, and the sound could be A LOT better, the sound is the only thing I don't like on this TV, it sounds super flat and the speakers sound cheap. But, for the price, this TV is a good buy, and it supports 1080p resolution.

What's great about it: Great price, great features.
What's not so great: Quality and Durability.
I was in love with this tv for the first 10 month but as of the 11 month I started to notice the color change in and out, while watching darker scenes in movies it is very noticeable. I am planning to file a warranty claim which is very dissapointing because I was planning on purchasing many more insignia products but now I will probably eat the difference and go back to Samsung.

What's great about it: Great size and design.
What's not so great: Picture quality (color) isn't the very best
This tv is really nice, especially for the price and being a first time user. However, the only problem I've found is the picture quality is sort of dark. It doesn't have a wide range of color quality, but having HD definitely helps.

What's great about it: The HD picture looks pretty good when hooked up to HD cable channels or Xbox 360 via HDMI.
What's not so great: Standard def channels look pretty bad
Once I get this TV running, it's not a bad experience. However, it usually takes me five to ten minutes to get it running because I have to unplug it and plug it back in multiple times before it will power on. I've had it for four weeks and continues to be a major problem, so I'll be returning it real soon while I still can.

What's great about it: The quality of the picture is good
What's not so great: View settings stink.
The settings for viewing stink...if I use auto or normal I might as well have kept my 36". If I use wide screen, everyone has put on about 30 lbs. If you use cinema, you loose the outside edges of the picture. I have cable and can't view the info or channel information if I use cinema, but yet it is the only view that uses the entire tv screen that doesn't distort the picture. This should definitely be addressed!!!
