This is would have been excellent if it were not for the single drive failure. The features of this device make it perfect for home use. I use it for a network share for all my pc's (works with unix, linux, and macs), a printer server, a media server, and my backup server. The best thing about this device is that has a feature to securely wipe both disk clean of data. Problem is this device was suppose to be primarily my data backup device and one drive failed within 14 days of operation. I am going to try one more of these devices before swap to another brand, Best Buy was great through the transaction. They are cross shipping me a new device now.
What's great about it: The management console, backup software, DNLP
What's not so great: Reliability, One drive failed within 14 days of operation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
