What's great about it: Great for my son as a toy would not purchase for professional or business use
What's not so great: batteries do not last deffinately get rechargeable
I bought this for my seven year old to play with. He is having a ball with it but it should have come with rechargeable batteries. They do sell that seperate though. They are good walkie talkies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Everthing
I got a set of these 2-Way Radios thinking that the kids could use it to keep in contact with us when we are camping. First thing we could tell was the 10 mile range was not even close. The did not even get 1/4 mile in the hills. On open flat land I would give them about 1/2 mile. My wife in one car and I was in the other on open road we could not talk even when I could see her car. When we got home it went through the instruction manual and in fine print it had that it would only get the 10 mile range on open water!! Now I ask you how am I ever going to test that out ? I mean , REALLY ? Over open water. Now this is no fault of best buy it is Motorola twisting things..

What's great about it: Very small and easy to hold/carry
What's not so great: does NOT have ten mile range, breaks up fast.
My friends and I baught this thinking it would be a fun, and easy way to keep in touch with eachother. We are all within a ten mile range so when it said it had a ten mile range we thought it would be perfect. Well, when we got it we soon realized the marketing for this object was lying and it manipulated and twisted the truth. The truth is it only gets a ten mile range if you are in a baron desert with nothing around for miles. You would have to live in the middle of the Sahara for it to reach 10 miles. We live in a suburban area so we tested how long/far it would take for it to break up. I couldnt hear her at about not even a mile down my street. It broke up at about 100 FEET away. Very far from that ten miles they promised. we spent $60 on this waste. Don't get me wrong, I love Best-Buy and would recommend shopping there. The only problem was it did not reach ten miles.
