I have a 15" MBP and this adapter is the only way to connect a 30" Apple Cinema Display at the proper 2560x1600 resolution. Eats up a USB port, but you gain 2 when you use the 2 on the monitor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Allows me to use the Mac Book Pro 17" with Cinema Display 30"
What's not so great: The Price, a little expensive I think
After reading all the horror stories about this product, i jumped in with hesitation that this thing would really work, but i plugged it in, and there was my laptop screen on the Cinema Display. Love it, no jumping, no miscolored pixels, just right!
I would recommend this to a friend!
