Most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Fits my hand like a glove. Tracking is very good, no issues at all. Mouse 4/5 are perfectly placed. Can adjust CPI on-the-fly with increments of 1. Has a 1.8 mm LoD, depending on the mouse pad you use.

What's not so great: little big
This is a really good mouse for gaming. It's good design and very fast, I have no problem with it. I used it at many tournaments like IEM North America and it helped me get 1st place. I recommend this mouse to everyone.

What's great about it: overall feel and comfort
What's not so great: have zero complaints
when initially discovering this was the mouse i wanted, i questioned the price tag on it. after finally giving in, i don't have one complaint. this mouse was well worth the price in every facet. the durability and overall feel is exactly what i needed. i used to cramp up when playing games and just didn't feel right with the mice i had. this satisfied my every expectation and has given me no issues from day 1, this mouse definitely comes highly recommended from me!

What's great about it: Shape, feel, size, everything!
What's not so great: Everything is excellent!
The IKARI laser mouse has been the best mouse I have ever used. I have always had problems with hand cramping prior to using the Ikari and have not experienced the same problems since. The traction and precision is excellent and I have received numerous compliments from friends on how it looks and feels. I have definitely become accustomed to using this mouse and will never use another one again. It has improved my game tremendously and I know that because of it, I will continue to headshot and help my team win more tournaments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Very reliable and comfortable
What's not so great: Makes you feel empty inside when you have to use a different mouse
When I'm all excited, about to experience a thrill, I need to grab something sturdy, solid, and smooth to guide me through getting that most important KILL. The SteelSeries Ikari mouse did just that for me on multiple occasions, helping me win numerous LAN gaming events across the world. Steelseries has a great track record with producing solid, consistent products for the gaming world and the Ikari is no means, by far the best mouse on the market today. I'd say the first thing you fall in love with when using the Ikari is the way it almost seems like it's dancing with your hand when you glide it across the mousepad. So if you want to tango while playing your favorite computer game, the pro gamer (me) strongly recommends you buy the Steelseries Ikari, you won't be disappointed.

This is a VERY COMFORTABLE mouse that literally lets you REST your hand on top it while gaming or browsing around. I've tested virtually every mouse as I'm a competitive gamer and I've never come across anything like it.
It has a great performance with a very good laser sensor tracking your every move and an LCD display in the bottom with a few extra buttons to switch through different settings so you can change i.e. your sensitivity on the fly.
It's a very big mouse which some people might not like, but my hands are relatively small and I still find it a good fit so I doubt that would cause anyone with average size hands any problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: very comfortable, good placement of buttons, good grip, lcd screen, on-the-fly dpi switch
What's not so great: lag and skips
For anyone who has used the G5/G7 you will know what I mean when I say the Ikari laser is no better at tracking fast movements. It is the fault of the laser technology; it is no match to the tracking of optical.
It is tried and true that at low sensitivities lasers will skip/lag/not track.
The Ikari laser is no better at tracking.
The obvious example I will use is CS. My setting are as follows:
windows: default; no accel
ikari: 400dpi
cs: 1.54
pad: Quk+
windows: default; no accel
ikari: 400dpi
cs: 1.54
pad: Quk+
Do not get this mouse if you play FPS. You wll highly regret it, as I did. I bought it, used it once, and it now sits on my shelf collecting dust.
Recommendations:
Get the Ikari Optical or Razer Deathadder.
Get the Ikari Optical or Razer Deathadder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Right out of the box I knew I would love this mouse. The look, the feel, the CPI setting. This mouse was built to last a lifetime. Not like those other "gaming" mice that look cheap and are not worth the box they came in. You cannot go wrong with a Steelseries product...
