Only had this a month or so, but seems to be what we need, so to rate it good across the board is a fair assessment at this time. Nice looking. It does not have a deli drawer, but we don't buy that junk stuff anyway. Nice size for two people. It's supposed to be super energy efficient, and that was a huge selling point for us. We are not disappointed with our purchase.
What's great about it: Looks
What's not so great: No deli drawer

This was the best value for a refridgerator that I found. The only problem I have with it is there is no cheese or deli meats drawer. I will be trying to see if I can find one as an additional part. The water filter for this fridge works well and tastes great. I always got bottled water and was afraid the filter would not be the same, but I ended up impressed. The fridge has great storage otherwise and works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had an identical looking fridge furnished in a condo. It was much more sturdy. Looks can be deceiving. All of the Whirlpool side by side ice/water in the door that we saw look alike from the outside, but this one had much cheaper, thinner plastic door bins and vegetable bins than the one in the rental. I first thought that the shelf just above the veggie bins could be converted to a deli drawer by ordering the drawer assembly from Whirlpool, but it definitely isn't an option with this model. I would caution to be sure and check the inside very carefully before buying and compare models. I would spend a little more and get a more sturdy model.
What's great about it: We love the water and crushed ice in the door. The price was great.
What's not so great: Shelves thin plastic. No deli drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got it on sale for a great price... energy saver..great frige so far. I've had it for about a month.
What's great about it: Ice maker is great & the water comes out super cold!!, like all the shelves.
What's not so great: wish it had more room inside..

Bought December 09. No Problems yet. Old box was 15 years old and very noisey. This one is very quiet. Good sale price of 680..
What's great about it: Quiet as a kitten's purr.
What's not so great: Temperature difference between front and back of shelves.

For the money, this refrigerator is great. There is a lot of room, both in the frig part and the freezer part. With free delivery, install and haul-away of the old one, it was hassle-free. It runs very quietly.

I bought this refrigerator recently after looking at many many other refrigerators. I got this for $639 on sale at Best Buy and it has met all expectations. There is plenty of room to store everything you will ever need or want in your fridge. The water may not be cooled in the door but isn't that what the ice dispenser is for. Overall this is a great refrigerator for the money.
What's great about it: Has Water and ice dispenser for a cheap price and is very large
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

- water filtration is very bad
- you only get one cup of cold water throe the water dispenser. so the first cup is warm water then the second cup is cold and after that warm water for the next 30 minutes

I don't know if my refrigerator was defective but I sent it back due to the noise it would make. I am not picky or overly sensitive, just for the record. When the compressor runs the fridge makes a high pitched ringing noise that is quite annoying and can be heard for long distances through your house. I had a whirlpool repairman come and look at it and he said it was normal. Apparently the new energysaver refrigerators have high efficiency fans which make a high pitched ringing noise when running. That's at least what all the bestbuy people and whirlpool repairman tried to keep telling me. The noise was so annoying that I could not stand it anymore (sounds like an old telephone ringing all the time the motor runs) and I exchanged it for a samsung refrigerator. This samsung refrigerator is so quiet, no high pitched ringing noises and it is energysaver too!!! I did not like this Whirlpool fridge and would not recommend it to anybody.
What's great about it: Nice slick look, lights are adequate and it keeps temperature well.
What's not so great: Refrigerator makes a loud high pitched ringing noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only only owned this fridge for a couple of weeks, but so far no complaints. Its pretty quiet and looks like an expensive fridge. My only issue and this is a pretty minor one is that the buttons on the ice and water dispenser are a little cheap looking and feeling. My parents liked it so much they ordered the same fridge for themselves!
What's great about it: Whirlpool brand, Price, Looks Expensive, Lots of Space
What's not so great: Buttons on ice and water dispenser look and feel a little cheap

After about a month, the ice dispensper stopped dispensing ice through the door. The paddles in the ice tray don't have enough power to turn the ice out. I have turned the ice maker off to prevent the tray from filling above half full, but still it doesn't have enough power to turn and dispense the ice cubes.
This is our first side by side and will be our last. The 25.3 cu/ft has us constantly searching for more space for a family of 4.
What's great about it: Price and looks
What's not so great: Ice Maker, Size is smaller than you think
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
