What's great about it: Easy to use, aux in and phones and recording out
What's not so great: nothing
Ima begining to intermediate guitarist doing some solos but mostly ryth. This thing has it all expect one thing an acoustic modulator outside of that there is no scrolling everthing you can adjust you can see. It has 36 user presets and pre mix sets. A built in tuner and the volume pedal doubles as an effects pedal. My favorite thing is that i can hook up my ipod and play with what i hear and to keep it my folks crazy i hook up my studio beats phones and i loose nothing its awesome!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Super easy to use,great Boss sound,many effects and looper
What's not so great: programed effects can only have patch number not a name.
Right out of the box(in the manual mode) you have four stompboxes that can be set to a wide variety of effects with just the turn of the knobs, no menues.Also the expresion pedal can be set for several uses.
Amp modeling is useful, don't push too hard going into a tube amp.
You can save single or multiple effect settings in the memory mode and assign them to a bank & patch number.I use a cheat sheet to remind me what I have set on that patch. Just like a regular stomp box( easy) with the same great sound and way more choices.Programing it is a little more difficult but worth it, if that's what you need. The memory looper is cool
17 sec and overdub capibility.
