What's great about it: six button layout
What's not so great: the wireless signal cant be blocked or it stops
Great controller for street fighter, easy to use but you always gotta have the controller pointed @ the middle or the signal will cut. It doesn't drop all that much but its noticable if you have two. It feels a little cheap with no vibration but besides that its better than the regular ps3 controller.

What's great about it: Nice Art work, turbo, large and comfortable
What's not so great: Must have line of site to work properly
After reading comments on how this controller frequently loses connection I thought i would pick it up anyway, since I was getting owned on SFIV. To my dismay it did disconnect frequently, but after I moved my location I figured out that it pretty much needs a clear line of site to the usb plug-in to keep a constant connection. It doesn't say on the box/instructions (just 2.4 GHz), but considering that this isn't Bluetooth enabled, you would need to use it as you would a remote control, i.e. IR...

What's great about it: Awesome feel & d-pad is responsive.
What's not so great: Doesn't feel too durable.
Anyone who has played SFIV know that using either the PS3 or 360 controller isn't the easiest thing to do.
This pad is reminiscent of the old Saturn controller which I've always considered one of the best.
The pad feels comfortable & the D Pad is responsive. The pad also includes an analog stick option for playability as the L or R stick. Also has turbo fire.
Wireless for the PS3!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: Better than the DS3, six buttons on the face
What's not so great: the quality
If you're looking at this page, you probably know that Madcatz didn't make many of these controllers, and there are even fewer Tournament Edition sticks (which sell for an outrageous $200+ on eBay...I saw one once at $1000!!!). You also know that the going price on these on eBay are also at most double, or even quadruple (at least for the Akuma version) of the MSRP. So why would you even spend the $40 for it in your regular stores?
You don't want to get ripped off, right? Well, in that case, once again, stay away from Madcatz. After years and years and YEARS of trying...just trying, to find ONE good product from them (their first Xbox controller actually worked pretty well), nothing has worked, and this was only a new addition to the list.
I'll start off with the good, first. There are six buttons, so you don't have to frustrate yourself wondering which of the shoulder buttons did what. The most important ones, L, M, and H punck/kick, are right there in front of you (based on Street Fighter IV controls). The D-pad was VERY responsive. I actually DO miss that when trying to play with a DS3. Shoryukens and Hadokens never worked better on that D-pad (coming from a person that hasn't used an arcade stick since the late 90's with the release of Tekken 3.....and I'm 17, now).
The bad.....at the very beginning, maybe it's because I had bad batteries, but the thing couldn't keep a charge to save my life. I can't count how many times I ended up losing a match only because I lost a charge....over and over again.
Now when I FINALLY get brand new batteries.....it dies. Won't keep a charge at all. BRAND NEW BATTERIES...and the controller's telling me it's dead....why, Madcatz....why???
Overall, I've heard the Tournament Edition ($150 MSRP), is actually worth the money you'd pay for it, but keep in mind, even the fightpad is VERY limited, and there were only 3,000 TE's to fill 10,000 pre-orders. If you can get lucky and find one at that price, or have $200+ to burn on an arcade stick, I highly recommend you to do that than to try to take the cheap option with this fightpad....you REALLY do get what you pay for with this product.

What's great about it: Looks cool and has potential to rock.
What's not so great: 1 Month life value
These controllers really had potential to be great. They feel great, they even look durable. But out of the 3 of these that I have, I can now use 1.
2 of the controllers actually work. 1 of the controllers D pad busted, even taking it apart and attempting to fix it didn't help. Since they don't use blue tooth, the wireless on these often disconnects and now 2/3 receivers don't work hence why now I can only use 1 controller.
