What's great about it: Great Tv
What's not so great: Nothing
"I purchased a Sylvania 32 lcd, and brought it home, hooked it up and it had terrible picture, or motion lag. I couldn't even play xbox on it. I took it back and purchased this TV. This TV was way better than the Sylvania. Way better picture, and definetly looked good playing xbox on it. It has very little to no lag. It also comes with a game mode to reduce lag between the controller and the screen, but you won't need to use it. Certain channels come in better than others though. But I don't have cable. I just use the hdtv box. If your looking for a 60hz TV that has little to no lag this is a great choice."

What's great about it: Picture Quality, Nice Feature Set
"After enjoying this TV for several weeks, I must say that we are very happy with it! A great upgrade from the old tube TV. The picture quality is very nice - the black shades could be a bit better, but it's also not an insanely pricey TV, so I didn't expect absolute top-notch shades. Definitely the best of its class based on what we saw in the store.
We do have surround sound, so we haven't really tested the sound capabilities of this TV."

What's great about it: Set up easy, good for small room, sound not bad.
What's not so great: Stand assembly parts weak.
"TV picture is excellent with the HDTV cable box. Sound is satisfactory, easy to set up, instructions well written and the number of menu choices is more than sufficient for our viewing use.
Had a bit of a problem setting up the stand. The three lower screws assembled fine, but only two of the four upper screws found enough material to get a good "bite". Unit seems secure but we will keep an eye on it. Good reason to get the wall mount sooner than expected."

What's great about it: Sleek design, quality picture
What's not so great: Remote control looks cheap
"I have been a Sony fan for many years, owning a number of Sony TVs over the years. I currently own a 46" 1080p Sony Bravia that was bought more than 2 years ago (I paid thousands of dollars for this). I am now "less satisfied" with my Sony TV after buying my first Samsung TV.
I went to Best Buy looking for a HDTV for my master bedroom. I had had Sony in mind. But I ended up bringing home a Samsung. Before this purchase I thought Sony made the best TVs. Now I do think that Samsung can compete head to head with Sony in the HDTV segment.
One thing that I am not so sure about is reliability. Sony is very reliable. I remember some 20 years ago, my uncle had a Samsung TV, and it was terrible. Now, I do recommend Samsung TVs. For other electronics components, I've never used Samsung products, so I don't know."

What's great about it: Price, looks sleek, screen swivels, nice sound in a bedroom/office

"Caveat: We just recently started upgrading our t.v.'s from the old "tube" style to these flat panel HD's. Accordingly, I don't have much to compare.
For Christmas, I purchased a 52" Sony Bravia 1080p, 120hz. It is simply stunning.
Last night, I purchased this Samsung for our bedroom. I'm very impressed with the sound, however, I can definitely see the difference in the picture quality as opposed to my larger Sony. The above referenced Sony dances circles around this one.
However, I picked the item up while on sale for $399. Add the $50 rewards zone gift certificate, and I feel like this was a total steal!
All in all, I think this is a great option for our "2nd" tv and it's great for the master bedroom. I wouldn't put this in my living room, though."

"I was nervous about getting this TV because I wasn't sure how great the 720p would look, as opposed to the 1080p models. I was very pleased with the picture quality for DVDs and HD channels. The set-up was not difficult; the TV itself is sleak and nice looking. Only one complaint: One of the speakers makes a high pitched hissing sound. Since I can't hear that sound from a normal viewing distance when I turn down the volume of the TV (and turn up the volume on my cable box), I didn't bother trying to return or exchange the TV."

What's great about it: Sound, Picture, Features like game mode, Easy to set up.

"This TV was a great buy i made. I bought it last night. Installation was a piece of cake. Put it this way, I'm a 17 year old girl and i set everything up all by myself, so that goes to show you how easy it was.
The picture looks nice, even though i don't have HD channels, the picture still looks nice.
The sound is great. Ive already watched 2 movies and it was good. The TV also has a movie feature on it.
The best part i love is then when i was playing my xb360, it was crystal clear and there's also game mode, where it automatically enhances the quality even more for your video game systems.
So far i am very happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend this TV to other consumers."

"Amazing deal for what you get. I bought this when it was $50 more just this summer and it's worth well above that. I honestly can't believe how cheap they've gotten. Just a couple yrs ago i got a 32 inch samsung for $900 and i thought THAT was a good deal.

"Ordered the TV online Thanksgiving Day, when it arrived it came in the TV box. What's not so great: Nothing so far.
"Bought TV before Christmas as our old one died. Did my homework by comparing and reading other reviews. After some minor adj. on the color, it is perfect and we don't have HD with our provider and don't plan on paying the x-tra for it. Also was concerned that the sound might not be great, as some reviews complained about it. I do believe they want room surround. I find it to be more than sufficient. However, we did buy the 4 yr. warranty to be on safe side due to others comments on problems. Over all very happy with this product."

"We bought this TV for my parents christmas present. We all love the picture and the look of the TV, It's the perfect size for our room. The only negative I would say is it doesn't get super super loud. I don't need the TV to be blasting, but some people need/want that. But for any normal sized room with normal hearing people I think it gets definately loud enough."
