What's great about it: Very slim, good price (sale)
What's not so great: Built in sound is "ok"; just like most TVs
Awesome TV. I purchased this when it was on sale; I wouldn't have otherwise. A bit of cloudiness but that is to be expected from edge lit LED and LCDs in general. Console gaming plays very well. :)
Side input/outputs don't get in the way for wall mounting. I thought that they might but they really don't. If you use a lot of wires it can get crowded and some wires may approach a 90 degree bend. I am using all 4 HDMI, PC audio and Optical side ports.
I upgraded from a Sony XBR4 40" LCD.

What's great about it: Easy set up, excellent picture, looks like a great piece of furniture
What's not so great: Sound is marginal, definitely need to add speakers/surround sound etc.
This TV is easy to set up and has a great picture. You have the ability to "fine tune" with advanced settings if you like. It also has multiple HDMI inputs and options and is set up to add peripheral's in the future. Easy to wall mount and when done properly, looks really nice.

What's great about it: Good Price and easy set up. Picture Quality is amazing.
What's not so great: Sound is terrible and picture cannot keep up in fast motion.
The TV looks amazing. The design is great and is very thin. The Picture quality looks great and colors are very vibrant. The sound is Lacking alot though. If hooked to a surround system it is good. Although the picture quality is amazing, it will get a lot of trailing in fast motion. For watching sports, this can get very annoying. Blu-Rays look great, but the same thing with trailing. I use a PS3 for blu-ray and I wuuld not recommend it for primary blu-ray use. It will only produce 24hz which makes more blur.

What's great about it: The color contrast was amazing
What's not so great: Clouds clouds clouds
I was very excited after purchasing this T.V. from Best Buy for $1299. I got it home & set it up very easily and was amazed by the picture. It kept up with my PS3 gaming very well. All was going great until I put a blue ray movie in and it came to a dark scene and there where the CLOUDS. Once I seen them I couldn't take my eyes off them. They became very annoying and caused me to return this T.V. So disappointed that a T.V. with such a great picture has such an issue with the backlighting.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, great price, truly amazing picture.
Went to get a TV for my son's bedroom. Ending up buying this one for the living room and I gave him the one from there for his room. Such amazing picture saw a hockey game and it was like I was on the ice and I am not a hockey fan. Crisp, clear and can be seen from all angles. only worry about the crystal stand.

What's great about it: It was easy to set up, and I got it for an amazing price
What's not so great: Doesn't work with all surround sound systems.
This LED TV has an absolutely amazing picture so bright and crisp, it sound it great even without surround sound. It was not hard to set up, even with the wall mount, the instructions are very clear. It doesn’t take long at all to start up, and the refresh time is great! I haven’t hooked my HD cable box up to it yet (I’m still using the regular cable box), and the picture is still amazing. Everyone can definitely tell a difference from my previous TV. The price was so great that I couldn’t pass it up.

What's great about it: Ultra thin, great picture out the box, nice arrangement of component/hdmi inputs...
What's not so great: Widgets DOESNT include Netflix and internet is slow to respond, and you need to buy the Samsung LinkStick to use wifi
I went from the 46" Toshiba 645 LCD which had a good picture and decent features to a Sony 46" vl150 from Costco which had an amazing picture... until the TV decided to turn itself with red diagnostic blinking lights... Picked this up last night. Couldn't decide between this and Sony 46" XBR9....While the sales guy told me that the sony had a better picture out the box, I gravitated to the cool factor of the samsung's ultrathin design...just wished that the Netflix app was made available on these tvs not just the samsung blu-ray players. The samsung apps were also a little slow to respond. The tv itself did perform a couple firmware upgrades once I connected the Samsung LinkStick usb wifi adapter.... Also, it only included a single set of component inputs which the Sony's have 2 sets of....

What's great about it: Design, picture quality, Internet widgets
Purchased a Samsung 7 series LED TV a few weeks ago and my expectations have been not only met but exceeded. The design is ultra cool (never could imagine such a thin TV a few years ago), the image quality is great even though I've read professional reviews on this same series which nit pick at details that mere mortals would never notice, and the features such as the Internet Widgets are great. I also discovered, by accident actually, that one can share music and video content from one's Windows based PC to the TV. So now not only can I watch TV and play YouTube videos but I can also view content from my PC.

What's great about it: Easy setup, Picture is awesome with HD Tuner
What's not so great: Sound not so good , but did buy the samsung sound bar with it so that was not an issue
This was my 1st LED TV and it is great, Very easy setup The picture quality is great, I wall mounted it with an off brand slim mount (the Samsung wall hanger was priced out of line $250.00). took a little time but it looks great with TV. LAN connection is a little slow with a direct connection (no wireless) like the features of windows 7 to play to TV. Went with Samsung sound bar so my Cox Cable remote would work on TV & sound bar (they are linked).

What's great about it: Price, picture quality, easy set up, multiple inputs, and internet connectivity.
What's not so great: Sound, internet connectivity, and nothing else.
At $1,699, this is a terrific price for a television with great features. It's easy to set up from the minute you open the box, to be honest, it took longer to open the box and put the tv on the included stand, than it took to connect my satellite receiver to the television. It is really simple to set up and that merits 5 stars because it means that you can do it yourself without the aid of one of those installation services that can be really pricey.
At 1080p, the picture quality is outstanding! Everything runs smooth and everything else like DVDs looks terrific on it. However, to get the best out of your picture quality I recommend that you also purchase or upgrade your satellite to an HD receiver. The picture quality depends on the source, so if you want the best possible outcome, get an HD receiver as soon as you buy the tv.
The multiple inputs are also fantastic. They give you many options. For example, if you still have basic satellite receiver, you can run the coaxial cable to the tv to watch a satellite signal until you upgrade to an HD capable receiver. With 4 HDMI inputs, there's almost no limit to the things you can connect to this tv. And with component cable inputs, the options are robust.
The internet connectivity is great but it leaves a lot to be desired. You have access to neat widgets like Yahoo! news, sports, and weather, among others. I use a lan line, so I wouldn't even bother with the Samsung wi-fi adapter, too expensive, and wi-fi should only matter if your mobile. I wish the widget feature would have more support, the fact that there is no direct streaming from Netflix on this capable television is inexcusable. The YouTube widget is fantastic, though using the remote to do a basic search can be tedious and takes too long.
Since I got the internet connectivity pros/cons out of the way, the only real downside to this television is the sound. In semi-noisy condition (people talking on the phone or people holding a conversation), you will have to turn up the volume very high. I recommend a decent sound system to augment the sound and remove most of the work from the televisions speakers (placed on the back of the television. But the sound should not keep you from considering this set. As is the case with most HDTV buys, a sound system is always necessary to compliment your purchase.
Overall, this is a great television, with great features, great picture quality, and a price that is very attractive.

What's great about it: Best picture I've seen yet for the price. The setup was so easy also. Amazing features like internet !
What's not so great: Nothing!
I've been very happy with this TV. I've since upgraded my cable to DirecTV because my cable company only had like 12 HD channels, and DirectTV was not only cheaper, but I'm getting close to 80 HD channels, including all my local channels. No I'm not a paid sponsor from DirecTV, I'm just telling everyone because I've been very satisfied with them and there picture quality is amazing on HD. Also the ability to watch my DVR shows on my computer as well is a plus and the schedule any recording from any pc or phone also is cool. The tv has some awesome online features, as well as content preloaded. All I had to do was plug in a network cable and hook it into my router. Also the PS3 looks amazing. I would def recommend this tv to anyone, the price is a little more then the 6000 series, but I think for the software on the tv is well worth the extra hundred dollars.

What's great about it: Excellent picture quality, design, and great value
What's not so great: Sound, but to be expected
I recently purchased this Samsung 46" LED TV Model 7100 as my first flat screen TV after reading many reviews. The picture quality is absolutely AMAZING and I think the BEST on the market today! The picture is incredibly bright and true to colors. Colors are vivid, and blacks are the best on the market. This TV looks awesome in a daylight lit room all the way to complete darkness thanks to its automatic brightness. Easy to setup, the picture quality was excellent with no adjustments necessary right out of the box! The TV looks great in the great room thanks to its extremely thin profile and overall design. Also the TV will only look its best when connected to a Blu-Ray full HD 1080p player as this is the standard for full HD. Cable company boxes on the market are only providing an output of 1080i which is HALF of the resolution the TV can display and will not appear nearly as good as full 1080p from a Blu-Ray player.
However, the sound quality from flat screens is really never great, but here is my note about the sound. The TV features an optical digital output, but BEWARE, it only outputs 2 CHANNEL STEREO and NOT Dolby 5.1 if you were to hook it up to your existing home receiver. My advice: If you do not already have a new A/V Receiver that supports multiple HDMI inputs, plan to get one now as Dolby 5.1 surround sound brings these TV's to life! This way, your HD cable box, Blu-Ray player, and game consoles can all plug into the HDMI receiver and only one HDMI cable will go to the TV. This way the receiver will extract the Dolby 5.1 from the HDMI input and you wlll be listening to incredible sound! If you do not have an HDMI A/V Receiver, I recommend you connect an OPTICAL cable from the output of the cable HD box (or Blu-Ray player) into your OPTICAL input on your existing receiver to get Dolby 5.1 sound. DO NOT RUN the OPTICAL cable FROM the TV to the Receiver as all you will get is 2 channel stereo! This is typical for most all flat screen TV's on the market today.
Overall I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this LED TV to anyone for use in ANY room from daylight to dark. I think it is the BEST picture quality of any TV on the market today!

What's great about it: picture,set up,design,
What's not so great: sound
Have had set for a month and only complaint is the sound.
Not sure I wanted to spend extra for LED until we saw it compared side-by-side to the Samsung LCD at best Buy. You can tell the difference.
Think the 120hz is also worth it.
Suggest you connect to a surround system however, as sound not that great.
Helps to go on line to Samsung for operation guide as it points out some features that are not so obvious like how to change setting on small light at bottom of screen which drove me nuts being on all the time. Also, info on settings at CNET are helpful.
People at Best Buy were great as was Geek Squad that set it up.
Set came down $300 from price I paid which I got credit for plus a free Blue Ray.

What's great about it: Color, black levels, very thin, nice 120Hz control, plug in a flash drive to watch video
What's not so great: Expensive, sound is so-so, ghosting on fast moving images
I read a bunch of reviews and looked at the Cnet ratings before I went TV shopping, I did not plan on buying an LED Samsung, but when I saw it in person even after going to other stores and looking at all the other expensive TVs, this one looked the best and that's why I bought it. The reviews and rating may tell you how it technically performs, but you also need to rely on your eyes, this set looked the best to mine. The only thing I've had a bit of issue with is the ghosting. When I am playing any source, blu-ray, DVD, video from a flash drive, or over the air HDTV, I get this ghosting bubble around fast moving images. Could have something to do with my settings, but it is definitely there. I also have had to adjust the brightness to a much higher setting for when I am playing my Xbox 360. Trying to play games with the brightness at the same settings I watch movies on is almost impossible, so this does wash out the picture a bit on games. Other than that, this is a fantastic tv. My favorite feature is a simple one, you can plug in an external hard drive or flash drive directly to the TV and watch videos from the source. No more encoding/decoding DVD burning, just plug and play, I love it! It is internet connected, but honestly, other than automatic firmware upgrades, this feature is pretty limited. It's expensive but when you see it in person, you'll probably want it.
