Got a great deal on it! but that is just half of it has great picture for DVDs but blu ray is beautiful! so clear and smooth for video games. I really didn't think that you would notice the smoothness in games but it is! Even internet videos are crisp. i hooked my PC up to it to get a little more real estate cuz old moniter was tiny. if you are looking for a great bedroom TV or just like something a little compact this is a great TV!!!! and sound quality is good but that is not why you buy these right it's for the picture quality.
What's great about it: Picture and inputs
What's not so great: sound but not a deal breaker
Best Uses: Casual User (mostly watch TV shows), Gaming, Movies

Heard horror stories about setting up HD. This was as close to plug-n-play as possible. Took less then 10 minutes from unpacking to watching.
What's great about it: Beautiful picture, easy setup, easy color adjustment
What's not so great: Speakers not great, but hooked in home theater system so not an issue.

Ok, First of all - I know not one thing about TV's except that I needed a new one. For some reason (don't really know why) this is the one I bought online. Two days later it arrived and the third day the geek squad folks came and hooked it up with all my other stuff that I really don't know much about. WOW, what a great choice I made! The picture on this TV is wonderful. All my tech savvy friends come over and marvel at my TV and it's quality and picture and I just sit back and smile like I knew what I was doing all along. Way to go Best Buy! Thank you!

This was my first HD TV replacing an 10+ year old set so the picture quality and colors look terrific. The brightness was a little too bright in the initial setup so I adjusted it to match the room conditions. I would highly recommend this product.

I've enjoyed the picture clarity and high definition. Contrast is great. Lots of reflections from the shiny surface if the room isn't completely dark though. Still haven't figured out the wireless connection... definitely not plug and play. Every computer I bring into the house can connect to the internet with the WEP key programmed in, but this connection eludes me. I've called my internet provider, got directions, but still reached a roadblock. I'll keep trying.
What's great about it: picture clarity
What's not so great: directions and ability to connect to internet using the wireless connector

This is my third Samsung LCD tv and it looks like they are only getting better year after year. I enjoyed setting it up and getting it started and haven't stopped using it since. I wish there was a timer button on the remote so I wouldn't have to go into a menu just to set the sleep timer.
What's great about it: Easy to set up and great picture quality
What's not so great: Missing a couple convenient buttons on the remote

I reasearched HDTVs for months and shopped all the brands. I visited Best Buy and other stores a dozen times to compare. By the time I was ready to buy, I knew this TV was the right one. I waited for the set to go on sale (right before the Olympics) and eventually got a very good price. Luckly, our cable man volunteered to set it up for free, and he did it quickly. It took a while for me to figure out how to manipulate the features on the remote, but now it's easy (and fun). The picture is completely amazing! Colors are vidid, pictures are sharp, images are clear, the sound is very good (although I find keeping it on Standard or Natural settings to be the best). It's the type of picture that makes your jaw drop and your eyes pop, it's that good. I'd read mixed reviews about the sound quality, but I think it's still pretty good, not a negative at all. I wish the ON/OFF switches on the front of the console were easier to find - there are no raised buttons or backlit icons to push - all you can see is a plain black panel - you can't see where to manually turn it on/off. Also, when you turn the set on, there is a time lag before the lights come on or any sound is played. I end up turning it off and on a few times, thinking I must have not done it right, when really I just haven't waited long enough for the ON feature to engage. But the remote works great, and for those who like to tinker with adjustments, the feature buttons on the remote are simple to understand. I totally recommend this TV to others, especially if you get a good price like I did (under $900).
What's great about it: outstanding picture, easy to adjust,
What's not so great: buttons on TV console are hard to find, time lag when turning set on

After many months of doing some homework and price checking i found this one,my sister has this one and after buying the 37" 60 Hz model after reading that anything under 37" you cant really tell the difference when it comes to watching blu ray,after thinking about i returned that model for this one and i must say i am glad i did.Wow you can tell the difference an for the blu ray it does stand out.I wish the price was a little lower but it is well worth it,it fits perfectly in my bed room.
What's great about it: Picture,easy set up.
What's not so great: price.

This TV has to be the best set I have ever seen. It delivers a clear, tight picture but so overly 'bright' as the comparable LED set. I would buy this set again and if you're looking for this size TV you really should check this one out. The 100K/1 dynamic contrast ratio really makes the picture pop.
What's great about it: The picture is unbelievable. Literally like looking thru a glassless window.
What's not so great: The sound is not 5.1 but is great for the TV speakers alone.

I have to say that this is, bar none, the best HDTV I have ever owned! I've never seen a clearer, sharper picture. This is especially true during fast paced action scenes on movies! The detail is so vivid! It's better than any plasma and it's not glaringly bright like the LED TVs! I purchased this with the Samsung HT-BD1250 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater System. I don't even bother going to the theater any more! I also love the chassis! The classic glossy black with the "Touch of Color" red give it panache! One thing I've noticed is that occasionally, during fast action scenes, a detail in the background will digitize/blur slightly. This surprises me on a set with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It's not enough to be bothersome, but it is there
What's great about it: Exquisite Picture Clarity! Phenominal detail during fast action scenes!
What's not so great: Ocassional digitization of background/minor detail during fast action scenes

Wow what a tv. So the first thing i watch on this tv is a hockey game. Amazing, everything, the detail of the ice, the movement of the puck and the players, best tv i've ever owned for watching sporting events. the following day it's the state of the union, incredible clear picture, the next day tv drama, and again 0 complaints. Everything about this tv is incredible, the web widgets are fun, but i admit, they're pretty useless. the custom controls on the picture are fantastic, you can set this perfectly for your room and viewing pleasure, the same can be said for the audio controls. the best part about this tv is the custom controls on the 120hz, being able to adjust the blur reduction and the judder reduction independently is very nice allowing you to optimize the settings to what your watching. To sum it all up, if your looking for a 37 inch television, then stop looking and buy this set.
What's great about it: the picture on this tv is amazing, the web widgets, all the picture controls, wow what a tv.
What's not so great: nothing, this tv is incredible

I mute the TV through my universal remote when I am in movie mode and the "mute" icon bouncing around on the screen is annoying so I have to manually adjust the volume to "0" on the TV when I am in movie mode.
What's great about it: Great Picture, good internal speakers
What's not so great: I wish there was a way to hide the "mute" icon.

I could not be more pleased with picture. It makes everything appear wonderful including VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu-Ray, etc. The 120 refresh rate truly makes the difference. My wife was skeptical of the purchase at first but was amazed at the picture quality. My family said the picture was so good it made images look almost 3 dimensional as they leapt off the screen at you. If you are looking for a 37" TV with a great picture - you cannot go wrong with this TV.
The USB ports are an added plus as you can connect hard drives with home movies, etc and watch on the screen without any issues
The only drawback is that I wish it had the internet TV capability as my space constraints prevented me from purchasing the next size up to get this capability, which is why I gave it a 4 on features - otherwise it would have gotten a 5.
However, overall very pleased with purchase and quality. If you are like me and want a great TV but have limited space - spend the extra money to get this TV - you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Picture, USB inputs
What's not so great: No internet TV capability

This TV is pretty amazing. I'm not the most tech-savvy individual in the world, but I did a lot of research and got some advice from some technical friends of mine, and I am NOT disappointed with my purchase. I recently bought a TV from another manufacturer for my mom which is very nice, and I thought it was about as good as it gets....until I saw the picture on this Samsung. Just beautiful picture quality; hands down the best I've seen.
Also the styling is pretty spiffy with the plexigalss base and red accents; very nice looking TV when it is just sitting there turned off.
I am using this TV with an audio receiver, so I don't have a good sense of the sound quality, but it seemed fine for the first few minutes before I had it running through the receiver.
The only thing I dislike about this TV is the 9 inch remote. It's gigantic. But that is a small gripe on an otherwise great product.
I think I will always go with Samsung for any kind of monitor or television from now on. I am very satisfied with this product.

Excellent tv for the price. Samsung seems to really make the best tv's these days. Extremely nice for those into downloading movies in .avi format. With the USB 2.0 connection you can plug an external hard drive right in & watch movies straight from the hard drive. Plays all kinds of formats as well, .avi, .mp4, .mkv. Overall the sound performance is the only part that probably isn't top notch, but still good.

I love this TV! This is my first flat screen and it was a great choice. I bought it black Friday weekend so it was at a great price as well. It is small enough for our limited spaced apt. but it is big enough to impress. I was nervous about how the quality of the HD would be since it was not to expensive but I was quickly amazed by it. I highly recommend it for gamers. Xbox 360 looks awesome on it. If I had to find something bad about it...... it is that after pressing the on button you have to wait a little while. I don't understand why it takes so long to turn on but that is a very minor complaint.
What's great about it: picture, price, size, great for games
What's not so great: takes to long to turn on

Not only does the Samsung have great picture quality, the overall design of the screen and stand is beautiful. I like the fact the the stand is large and very stable. I have it on a sliding metal base that also turns it in different directions, and I never feel like it will tip over. I'm new at this kind of tv, so I'm not sure if it's me or what, but sometimes I can't figure out what picture size to use for various types of DVD formats. I wish it had more options.
What's great about it: Easy to understand setting, great picture quality, and very stable stand
What's not so great: needs more picture size options
