What's great about it: Easy to understand the settings.
What's not so great: Volume does not go high enough with just the tv remote
"My priority was a very clear picture. The picture is crystal clear.
The tv volume does not get very loud. Needed to use the cable remote to boost the volume."

What's great about it: The picture is awesome!
What's not so great: Some assembly required.
"I researched several different TV's within my budget and this one overall had the most features. I went to several stores to see if they had a model set up so that I could see the picture quality, but nobody did. They only had the 60hz version on display. I opted to get the 120hz version so that there wouldn't be any blur during games or movies. So I was getting the TV hoping for the best. I bought it, put it together, plugged it in and it has been amazing!! Everything is very clear and sharp. There isn't any pixelation or graininess to the imagine. When we watched a Blu-Ray DVD, the picture was so vibrant and clear that it almost seemed like we were watching a home movie!! You'll love this TV. For the price and the features it boasts, it is the best model out there for this price range. The sound quality isn't too super-duper, but I plugged it into my peripheral surround system, so it's obsolete for me. If you don't have a stereo system, then you might be a little disappointed with the sound. But afterall, TV's never really have that great of sound anyways. It does come in with an equilizer so you can go in and manually adjust the sound more to your liking though, so at least they give you some options that way. ALSO, THE TV HAS TO BE SCREWED INTO THE STAND. If you just bought a nice TV stand, just be aware that you have to put a massive anchoring screw into it to keep the TV from tipping over. Glass TV stands will obviously have problems with this."

"i bought this tv to replace a bravia 32'' and it can't be considerd to be even close to the quality of the bravia. Trumotion must be something they just put on the box because this tv gives me so much bluring at high speed on ps3 games that i would like to toss it out in the yard. i cant believe this after all the good reviews i read on this site. the people who say that it looks good for ps3 must have not used or seen the bravia 32'' 120hz. i have bought 3 tvs in the last 3 days and they have all been terrible, incliding this 1. i even tried a vizio and it didn't blur like this one does."

What's great about it: Easy to use menus / controls, amazing picture quality for XBOX360
What's not so great: None so far
"I went to 120hz over 60hz for this 32" because the TV is used almost exclusively for XBOX gaming. Just heard too much on the Internet about image shearing, etc. to risk a 60hz. This tv keeps up with that and sports (can even follow the hockey pucks clearly), can't see any blurring or delays that some complain of on less expensive 32" TVs. I didn't plan on LG going into the store, but after 45min of comparing picture quality in-store s (important: on same picture settings) this one beat out Sony and all the other brands with comparable features but higher prices. Sound is crystal clear, so the LG voice enhancing technology seems to work great. I couldn't be happer with this tv, and I actually bought a second one for the bedroom. Works great if 5' away or 10'."

"I got this tv the other day and so far have loved it. The picture is beautiful and crisp. One thing i noticed watching tv with the 120hz refresh rate on was that everyone seemed to be fast forwarded, iw ould turn that off for the tv but its good for a pc or video game hook up. Also the only complaint i have is that the tv does not have a red/white audio out port to plug speakers into but that is a minor inconvenience as the tv itself has pretty good sound quality."

"If your budget won't withstand the hit for a top of the line Samsung, Panasonic or Sony, buy this. 24 hours into the experience I am very pleased with the visual feast I now command. Setup....zero hassle. Features, plenty and for the price way more than expected. HD or Blu Ray picture.....when viewing quality source material, it is incredible.
Automated light sensing features...yes, a little tricky at first however following directions should get most buyers through it. After about 4 hours of use...suddenly a picture emerges that is breathtaking or to phrase it another way, looks as good as or better than expensive computer LCD monitors.
A note regarding the True Motion Feature: Cable quality is everything so it may be of help to note that at least HDMI REV 1.3 cables should be used. If the run is long, then plan on spending more on the cable to accommodate the specification requirement."

"This tv is amazing at worst. I would have paid double the price to get it! This LG was very easy to set up, and when I plugged in my PS3 I was immediately lovestruck. Bluray movies look phenomenal and PS3 games look incredible. The 120hz is so smooth that it's almost offensive that people buy 60hz tv's. The 70k:1 contrast ratio offers vivid detail and very vibrant color. The only minor issue I noticed was that when the TruMotion setting is on high, there are a few visual glitches, but that can easily be avoided by putting the settings on low--it still looks stunning on the low setting.
DEFINITELY get this tv, it is completely worth every penny!"

"This was my first LCD HDTV purchase and I must say that I love this TV! The picture quality is great, it feels like you are literally inside the television! Being that this was my first purchase in the HDTV department, I really didn't know what to expect and really made my decision based on the price- I picked this TV up at my local store on sale for $549.99 and it is by far the best $550 I have spent in a long time! I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone! Hooked up to FiOS HD, the quality is amazing!"

What's great about it: at the moment, THE PRICE
What's not so great: only bad thing is that they have only 1 audio out and its in an optical audio out
"i got this from best buy, picked it up in the store, and for 550, for all the features you cant beat it. picture looks great with HD inputs, but is somewhat grainy if youre using analog inputs and get close to the screen but you couldnt ask for an easier setup. great for noobs, but noobs who know what looks good and what does not
there is no lag in the images with the 120hz and plenty big especially for a starter tv
got it because i want a tv thatll last too. but would i pay full price? probably not. though if you can find it at a good price do it, you wont regret it"

""I'm a savvy techie......I originally bought this smaller LG 32" version with 1080p and 120hz for $650. This TV was perfect with Blu-ray movies, PS3 games and Directv HD. The TrueMotion 120hz was fantastic for fast moving images.
However, I exchanged it for a larger LG 37" 720p 60hz version for $150 less as the larger screen was better for my eyes. The Blu-ray is still great but not as sharp as was on this 1080p 120hz. The Directv HD and PS3 look the same. The sound is actually great so there is no need for extra surround sound speakers. The only downside is the fast moving images do blur a tad bit since it's 60hz, but it's acceptable for the price and for my bedroom. It's like driving a Lexus instead of a Bentley. Anything over 37", the 120hz+ is definitely needed.
Advice: Use the different AV modes for games, movies and sports as the TV's processor will auto adjust the many technical features properly for best viewing. You'll see the enhancements when using the Cinema mode for movies vs standard mode as the fps rate increases.""

"This television has been a great purchase. I was deciding between this model and a comparable model from Samsung. I have previously purchased a 40" class, 720p Samsung that I have been really happy with over the last two+ years. This is the reason my decision to purchase an LG was difficult. After reading reviews and comparing side-by-side in the store, I went with the LG. The difference in the contrast levels between the two pictures is what sold me. Additionally, I have seen mostly positive comments about the sound. This is one thing that disappointed me about the Samsung. Being that the LG was a purchase for the bedroom, I needed the sound to be great since it would not be hooked up to a sound system. I have not been disappointed, the sound is far better than I imagined. For my next purchase, LG has jumped to the top of my short-list!"

What's great about it: It is so easy to set up and the picture quality is wonderful.
What's not so great: Nothing yet.
"I set up the TV by myself and found the process to be extremely easy. Fortunately, I had read what was needed on the sales page at the BB site and purchased the required cable at the same time as the television. Initially, I was impressed by the picture and I have found the Zoom feature to be a great addition when I have to read a letter or other document on the screen. I have not used the PIP (picture in picture) feature yet but I will get to it I am sure. Changing features is so much easier on this set than on others I have owned because most of them have buttons right on the remote control instead of having to call up the main menu and trying to find the feature from there.
I may find something wrong with my new LG 32" HD television but so far, it is everything I expected."

"Pro: Good picture with high refresh rate, great for gaming because of the high refresh rate and good sound
Con: No headphones port (as best I can find), slightly tippy because light stand.
Not the best computer monitor if you're planning to use it for that, but good enough - I use it for Photoshop work as a 1980x1080 monitor and it's done fine."

What's great about it: love the tv, from the picture to the sound it is great.
"Bought the LG over the other brands after reading the reviews from other buyers. So glad I spent the few extra bucks. The picture is perfect and he sound is like being in a movie theatre. The tv was for my boyfriend at Chrstmas and he told me to take it back because it cost too much. He wouldn't let that tv out of his house is you paid him. That's how much he likes it!"
