What's great about it: I love the Grip of the Controller it gives
What's not so great: Nothing
My son bought this for me a couple years ago cause I’m a great gammier player lol anyway I love the grip it has when you’re playing any type of game I’m going to order two more cause I just bought two more controllers can’t play a game without them. I recommend you get this it will be a big hit, and the price is right.

What's great about it: Easy to snap on
What's not so great: Hard to see if dropped on a dark floor. Wish they came in colors!
Now that I have them I don't know how I lived without them. With these you can feel the difference between the buttons. So now I don't hit the wrong button by mistake.

What's great about it: Improves handling of triggers and stickes on PS3 controllers
What's not so great: Caps curve up too high, uncomfortable edges
This comes with both the concave plastic caps for the L2/R2 triggers, and rubber caps with rings for the analog sticks.
The rubber caps do a great job of minimizing the chance of slipping your thumb off of the stick. The covers are not concave like on the Xbox 360 controller, though.
The trigger caps are a good idea, but the way they are made offset the benefit it gives.
The best thing about the caps are that there is zero chance of slipping your fingers off of the L2/R2 triggers with these caps on.
The curvature of the caps is too high at the back. This makes it difficult to hit with middle fingers from the rear while using L1/R1 buttons with the index fingers at the same time.
Also, the back of the caps are all right-angled instead of rounded. To me, this makes it uncomfortable to use because I rest my index or middle fingers behind the L2/R2 triggers.
After a month of use, I no longer use the concave caps, but I am still using the rubber covers for the sticks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: Putting them on the 1st time
This is a very good item especially for those who play a lot of fighting games there's only one problem i had with them and that putting the actual kickers on lol but i found a nice way to put them on instead of putting them on bottom 1st then snapping the top on like they show on the package do the opposite and clip the bottom on last then snap the top of the kicker last i found it easier and it worked for me. This is a great product that's often over looked its a great product and worth the price.

What's great about it: Feels great, enhances controller feel
What's not so great: A bit pricey
Just wow, I really never had a problem using the shoulder L2/R2 buttons on my DS3 controllers, but I always hated that slipping feeling that came by using those buttons during intense gaming sessions.
I bought this just because I had some spare bucks after buying a game, but once I tried them, I was sold. Now I can't play without them. I love them, I even went ahead and bought two more pairs for my other controllers, my friends love them too.
They sure are a bit pricey for some small plastic pieces, but the product itself is completely worth it, trust me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Makes the trigger buttons much better. Now my fingers don't slip off. Plus the proper feel for FPS games when you switch the buttons from L1/R1 to L2/R2, though that takes some adjusting. Once you're there though it's well worth it.

I stumbled on these the same day Modern Warfare 2 was released and to be honest i was never looking for these. But very glad i purchase it because after the way the controller feels adding these bad boys to it make my whole FP game picked up online very well with my grenades and flash bangs etc....

I bought this product a few days ago along with my new PS3 Slim. It has eliminated that slipping feeling i have when i play CoD MW2, which is detrimental to my gameplay. these kickers have improved my gameplay quite a bit. I have already recommended these to two of my friends, one had thought it was a waste of his time, but after using them for only 2 minutes he was already hooked asking me to buy him a pair of them for his own controller.
There is no reason not to buy this product, and if for some reason you happen to not like it, its only 5$ down the drain, much better than buying a custom controller if you ask me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to file the corners rounder on the lower parts and remember not to place my other fingers too close so as not to be pinched upon pressing the trigger.

What's not so great: 6 bucks for two pieces of plastic seems... excessive.
Becareful about purchasing these. Unless you can afford to outfit all of your controllers with them, you maybe should wait. I bought one set, and that controller is now covetted over all others. Sony, take note, this is how you should have made the controllers in the first place. Great product.

I don't know why Sony made the triggers the way they are on the stock PS3 controller, but these alleviate their shortcomings for a measly five bucks! A soft touch overmold or coating would have been icing on the cake...

What's not so great: There's nothing bad about these kickers.
My only complaint about the PS3 Dual shock controller has been my fingers sliding off the L2 & R2 buttons. That never really happened, but it felt like they were going to slide off, which was very uncomfortable. Well the PDP Kicker buttons took care of that. They are easy to install. They don't damage the controller. And they really do enhance game play. These are a "must have" option for the PS3 Dual Shock controllers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: The shipping price online cost more than the product. The shipping should be free.
Great idea, This makes pushing the buttons on the controller so much easier, faster and more comfortable on the fingers. I really like this product and have them on all my controllers. They are easy to install, they just snap right on, and stay on, they don't fall off even if you happen to drop your controller on the floor. Great product, Great price, great idea.
I also purchased the new colored controllers......RED, WHITE , AND BLUE. So much better looking than the plain black ones.

i personally love these things. at 5 bucks (which is cheap) these things are a must. yeah its only two pieces of plastic, but they make such a big difference! ive had mine for close to 2 years now and wont play without them and im buying a set for my extra control, cuz everyone who uses my control love them and so im just going to outfit my extra control with'em too!
also if your not hulk'n out on your buttons while you play you will have no problem with them staying on. they've only come off on me when i have dropped my control!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a convert to the PS3 from XBOX. I still prefer the slight feel of a XBOX however and these add-ons for $5 was by far the smarter move then buying a different style controller.

Ever since I bought these I have never been able to go back to not using them. This is how the PS3 controller should have ben designed. Do yourself a favor and try these out.
The price is a little high for a couple pieces of plastic and every so often one might fall off during heavy gaming. Maybe it is just me, but I have had it happen before. Mostly this will happen during constant R2 or L2 pressing, such as a racing game where you are pushing the pedal to the metal.
Bottom line, it has some flaws, but the advantages vastly outweigh the problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!
