Just bought all Samsung kitchen appliances in stainless steel in April 2013. No problems at all. I looked at a ton of reviews before buying and I got great deals from Best Buy sales. Almost $1000 off of the list price and paying back at 0% for 18 months. I would definitely buy

I knew picking a counter depth frig it would be smaller, but I didn't realize how small. It looks great in my remodel kitchen but we still rely on another frid in the garage for a lot of food.
The size I can live with however the stainless steal gets finger prints and water stains from the ice maker and it is very hard to clean.

I would highly recommend this refrigerator! The shelves are easily adjustable for various heights containers, there is a large drawer with lots of space and the entire refrigerator is easily organized.

This counter-width appliance enhances my new kitchen more than I dreamed of. The quality is superb and there is nothing negative I can really say about it. I bought several Samsung appliances for my new home and I am very impressed with every one of them.

What's not so great: Icemaker died and it will cost hundreds to repair
Don't buy this fridge. 2 months out of warranty the icemaker died. Repair is terribly expensive. It looks good, but that's about all. I have had many problems. Buyer beware!

I had to purchase a counter depth stainless steel fridge and there were not many options for me, but I always read reviews on every product available before I make up my own mind. This Samsung had good to great reviews and thats what made me go with it. At a great price and free delivery and set up, this was hard to pass up. And I can say that I do love it. Its only 23cu. ft I believe but thats all I really need, so it is a bit small than maybe what you are used to, depending of course. It looks very classy until you look at the side panels!! Maybe its just me but this is a bit of a pet peeve, the front is stainless and the sides are a matte grey material, not stainless. My fridge you can see one side of it next to the counters, and its grey, looks a bit cheap IMO. If your sides will be hidden or if you don't care, this is a great fridge. I would still recommend it, very easy to use, keeps temperature, big freezer on the bottom.

We remodeled our kitchen 4 years ago and made the mistake of purchasing Electrolux appliances. What a mistake that was. The Microwave broke last year and we replaced it with a Samsung and love it. We had a total of 4 failures with the Electrolux refrigerator and thank God for the Best Buy service contract. They arranged for us to get a brand new refrigerator and we picked the Samsung out of all of the others. We are very please with our new Samsung and would recommend it.

I only have mine for about 3 weeks now but I'm pretty satisfied with it.
It was the best model we could find that would fit our kitchen and it works as expected (can you REALLY say that much about a fridge)?

What's great about it: Great looking, functional and space-saving.
What's not so great: Ice maker takes up a little more room than I'd like and could use more in-door space.
We looked for a very long time at quite a few stores. It seems no else discounts the counter-depths. I always appreciate the BB zero financing.
Major delivery person had no interest in good customer service. One, (seemed to be the one with less experience), seemed very interested in our experience. The other could not have cared less.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice build up all over food and freezer drawers

Hooked up with ease and grace. Chilled down in less than 24 hours. On the 3rd day there was so much ice build up on the food, drawers, and doors of the freezer, I was a little concerned. Grew even more concerned when I spoke with the 4th person on the phone with Samsung and they said "did you buy the extended warranty?" THEN they said you have to call where you bought it. I bought it online BEST BUY!!! I said it is 3 days old. She said what would it take to make it right. I said a new frig that doesn't ice up. She is sending one in 3 weeks. Hopefully the warranty doesn't expire before the new one comes in!!! Does anyone else have this trouble and terrible customer service?? I will let you know if the new one comes in on time AND does or does not ice up like this one.

What's great about it: great freezer and ice maker
What's not so great: doors don't shut easily
I like this refrigerator. The doors took some getting used to but they gave us a nice ringing signal to indicate the doors were left ajar. The ice maker works great. The look of it is classic stainless and goes well with my other stainless appliances. Lots of drawers and shelves. For the money, I'm very pleased. It was either a built in Sub-zero or this Samsung and for the money I have no regrets after several months of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great fridge. Other reviewers have posted that the water dispenser doesn't work, but we think it works great and use all different size glasses on it with no problems. It's quiet, is really easy to organize, holds 2 gallon jugs of milk in the door, looks great and has some nice features.
The price is a bit high, but counter depth fridges are more expensive. We got it for 30% off, so that helped!

What's great about it: Better organization capability than our old side-by-side. Love the quick cool down option.
Surprised at how much space the refrigerator seems to have since it was the same sq ft as our old side-by-side. Great organization options.
The quick cool is wonderful -- don't have to worry about putting anything hot in either the refrigerator or freezer.
Humidity in the vegetable and fruit drawers has really prolonged the life of the produce.
Good door storage even on the ice maker side.
Water and ice in the door is so much nicer than our old refrig.
Counter depth makes it so much easier to get in the cupboard above the refrigerator.
Like that the refrigerator has separate cooling from the freezer. That was a problem with our old refrigerator/freezer.

I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service to get a part that was missing for my new refrigerator. Two dropped calls and six transfers later and still was not resolved. Even after I gave them my phone number they did not bother to follow up.

What's great about it: Largest storage capacity in a counter-depth model. Quality see-through adjustable shelves and easy rolling drawers.
What's not so great: Stainless steel is hard to keep looking nice. Wish I had another in-door shelf instead of the wire soda can holder.
Love, love love the 3-door design and LED lights! Although it took a little getting used to after having a side-by-side for 24 yrs, the refrigerator section puts everything I need on a daily basis at eye level and arms reach. With see-through drawers and shelves and the shallow depth of this counter-depth model, I no longer have food wastage because it got lost at the back of the shelf or hidden in the bottom of a drawer. Love having in-the-door storage for large bottles of juice and milk. The full-width pantry drawer is great for keeping meats and cheese fresh longer because the drawer temperature is adjustable and not affected by opening & closing of the french doors. This counter-depth model looks great in my small kitchen without overwhelming it, yet still has plenty of storage space for my needs. The freezer has a retractable tray which opens to give access to longer term frozen food, while the short term items are stored in the easy-to-reach tray.
