What's great about it: Dummy prof... Probably the easiest set up of all.
What can I say? Works Flawless.... Plug it in press the button under the unit and go it to your System settings in the PS3 and link it up. Simple!!

What's great about it: It just works!!!
This receiver works so slick and integrated with the Logitech remote for an effortless, 1 remote system that works for all our devices.
The remote worked very well too!!! The only thing the remote didn't do well was toggle back to watching TV from watching a movie.
I found out this was typical of this remote so I returned it and got the Logitech Harmony 650 and it does everything perfectly.
The Harmony 300 doesn't have backlighting for night use but the 650 does and makes operation easy in the dark.
The remote worked very well too!!! The only thing the remote didn't do well was toggle back to watching TV from watching a movie.
I found out this was typical of this remote so I returned it and got the Logitech Harmony 650 and it does everything perfectly.

If you have a PS3 aqnd are looking to use a Logitech remote with it to watch movies, you gotta get this. A little on the pricey side but worth it in the long run.

What's not so great: Expencive
Easy to set up, the remote commands are already programed into the remote just have to pair the adaptor to the PS3. It responds great, I thought there would be a huge delay between button input and the result. But it's instant. A little expensive since you can use the included PS3 controller or get a $20 PS3 remote. But nothing beats using my favorite backlit Logitec Harmony remote to navigate all my audio/video equipment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Acts like a regular DVD remote remote with the PS3
What's not so great: Kinda of a long process to install and program.
This adapter is great for people who use their PS3 as their primary DVD/Blu Ray/& Blu Ray 3d player and also have a Logitech Harmony remote. It makes it a lot easier to navigate the PS3 when its only being used for multimedia purposes and do not want to have to turn on and use the PS3 remotes awkward DVD controls.

What's great about it: Ease of use. Allows me to use my Harmony One for PS3
What's not so great: Can't find any faults other than maybe the cost could be less.
It does exactly what it says. No setup issues to speak of. It's taken the place of my ps3 controller easilly.

Once the device was installed it worked fine, but it was a bit of a pain to set it up. My main issue is that the fairly expensive Logitech universal remote required me to buy this adapter if I was going to control my Playstation via the same remote. A $60 surprise that wasn't obvious until I was already programming the Logitech Universal remote. And the Best Buy salesperson failed to inform me that I would need the accessory when I purchased the Universal Remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only issue I've had with it is sometimes when I hit the all off button on my remote, the PS3 never turns off. Other than that, it works great! It's just a little pricey, but then again, so are the harmony remotes...

What's great about it: Easy of use, small size, helps minimize # of remotes needed
What's not so great: wish the light wasn't there or was different dimmer color
So far so good, only had the thing a month but works fine. No problems yet. range is decent. I only live in a two bed two bath condo but the range seems good up to 20 feet no issues yet. Only complaint would be the constant green light on the unit has to be facing out. Would have liked a red or dimmer green color so it was less noticeable. All in all though that's just a preference I have for not having a lot of lights etc in my entertainment unit. I like a clean look. One more teeny light won't hurt eh? ha ha ha. Super easy set up, love the logitech systems for this reason. Love that one remote works the the PS3, DVR, TV, Stereo, DVD, Blu-ray player everything.

The Logitech Harmony Adapter for Sony PlayStation 3 is obviously specific to the ps3, but it is still nice to have a way to convert the remote's IR signal to the bluetooth required for the ps3. This adapter was pretty pricey when I got it (59.99). Although, when you get one of the top of the line universal remotes, you want to make sure it accesses all your devices. The adapter was simple to set up and I was using it within minutes. It has a smooth design that somewhat matches the ps3. The bright green LED that is always illuminated gets a bit annoying, but that is why we invented electrical tape, right? :) The lag time with sending commands to the ps3 is not bad, maybe 1 to 2 seconds at worst, and that is still better than trying to wake up a ps3 controller to send commands (if it is off due to inactivity). Anyhow, it's a great accessory, so 5 stars.

With the Harmony Adapter, I can now control the Playstation 3 with my Harmony remote. Installation was easy, pairing the device to the PS3 and then updating the controls on the remote let me integrate the console into my activities easily.

very very easy to install and works just fine with no issues for my ps3. I am using with the Harmony Link and the Harmony Link app. It also works with a regular harmony remote but I am using it with no issues with the harmony link and an iPhone 4s.

If it is and you use it to watch movies this is the way to go to simplify your Home theater. It is a great accessory to go with your Logitech all in one remote.
I have had no issues with using this with my Logitech remote and the PS3. I can navigate and perform all the same features as PS3 Sony remote. Setup and Syncing to the PS3 is just as easy as the PS3 Sony remote as well.

Works better than the PS3 remote because it actually powers off the unit with one button push and all functions seem to be there. Rated only 4 stars because the price is outrageous considering you also have to buy a Logitech remote for this to work.

Really happy about being able to control the PS3 with my Logitech. Set up was pretty easy. Only gripes are that the remotes don't include blue tooth so that this device is necessary and that only one blue ray remote can be configured with the PS3 at a time. Not a fault of Logitech on the last one.

I bought this in conjunction with a Harmony universal remote.
We wanted to simplify the operation of our home theater and be able to stick a few of the remote controls into a drawer. We now have one remote control in the living room.
