What's great about it: keeps cool to the touch, relatively quiet
What's not so great: nothing ror what it is, no complaints
have parts of my house that get drafty when the temps fall in to the 20's, set this at 68 and it comes on when ever it drops below that. so for what I bought it for it works great. great for heating moderate to small rooms such as a beadroom or office.

What's great about it: It puts out the heat. And size doesn't matter.
What's not so great: Nothing
I bought this heater for my home office. At first, I thought it was a little small, but after turning it on....WOW! With its osculation and digital thermometer, it keeps my home office comfortable. And at my age, I can't remember to turn it off, so I set it to turn off automatically after one hour.

What's great about it: I feel like I got the most for my money.
I am very pleased with this little heater, it heats better than I expected and I love the extra features that are not usually found on other heaters, many of which are more costly. There are great safety features as well as an automatic timer, a choice of voltage, and my personal favorite is having the ability to see the room temperature on a digital thermometer. It's nice to be able to set the thermostat to a certain shut-off temperature and not have to wonder what the corresponding temperature for low, medium or high settings really are, like you do with most other heaters.
I have 2 parrots, therefore steady room temperature is important to me. I use this heater mostly at night when I lower my main source of oil heat throughout my home, but want to maintain a higher temperature in the room my birds are in.

What's great about it: Oscilating and climate control features
What's not so great: Rather loud fan while in operation
Exactly what I wanted considering that it only gets cold enough to fire this bad-boy up for a few weeks out of the year. Certainly not the cheapest model in the isle, but has excellent features that made it worth what I paid. The two features I liked the best was that it oscillates at the push of a button. Secondly, it features a climate control setting that allows me to decide at what temperature it should shut-down. This smaller unit is not really designed to warm up a room larger than 20x20, but that didn’t really stop from trying anyways. The only feature (and I read this online with other reviews) is that it is relatively loud. I am a heavy sleeper, and it has on occasion been loud enough to wake me every now and then. Regardless, I am still satisfied with this product and would recommend it.

What's great about it: It heats up the immediate area well. The price is good.
What's not so great: It's noisy, and does not heat up more than the immediate area.
My sleeping area is very difficult to keep warm. I have tried many heaters, and they all have had one disadvantage or another. Mostly, constant noise, or lighted coils. I wanted to get a heater from Best Buy, and I read all of the reviews of heaters that were available. The reviewers mostly seemed to think this heater was somewhat quiet, or at least you could get used to the hum. Plus, it didn't light up while heating. I bought this heater, and tried it in the bedroom. While I can get used to a fan while sleeping, I cannot tolerate heater noise while sleeping. This heater lasted less than 3 days in the bedroom before it was reassigned to a room where noise doesn't matter. Right now it is in the bathroom. I have noticed that when the thermostat is set for a temperature higher than the room temperature, in the bathroom, the heater shuts off prematurely. It could be from the humidity. So, I put it on the HI (constant) setting while I am in the bathroom, and it is shut off when I am not in the room. It's a good heater, but just not meant for any area larger than a bathroom-sized area, or a closet-sized bedroom, and certainly not where noise is not wanted. I will keep looking for the elusive perfect bedroom heater!

What's great about it: Keeps me warm!
What's not so great: Nothing!
My husband and I both used to freeze during the winter while sitting at our computers at home. I purchased through the order- and pick-up-at-store option (which was easy) and gave them to ourselves at Christmas! We've been using our heaters under our desks for 3 weeks now and they're wonderful! They put out a lot of heat, you can adjust the temperature, the fan isn't too loud, it has an auto turn-off feature in case it tips, it's just the right size, and it has an oscillating button on top that keeps you from getting too much heat in one spot. The price was reasonable too! We're really enjoying this purchase!

What's great about it: Case stays cool to the touch, heats up fast, very portable
What's not so great: Could be quieter
I was surprised at how well this heater does the job for only 40 bucks. It heats up very fast, and the case does stay nicely cool to the touch. You can choose between it rotating or facing one direction, and the dial lets you pick the exact temp you want.
The tip over shut off is *very* touchy. I have it sitting on the floor, and saw it shut off when my cat whacked it with his tail in passing. That impact was enough to trigger the shut off. A shut off that touchy may annoy some I guess, but as a pet owner, I was delighted with it. I feel very confident that should one of my animals actually knock it over, it would be off before it was even flat on the floor.
As another safety note, the cord stays cool even after it's ran several days non-stop. Some heaters I've owned in the past had cords that got hot enough to make me worry.
The fan noise is about the same level of volume as a standard room fan. It makes for a good white noise. I'd like an option to leave the fan on when it's not putting out heat, but I found a work around just by having the temperature control low enough that the heater stays on.
I have it located in front of a bedroom door, aimed down the hallway towards the living room with all the other doors in the hallway closed. It's successfully making a difference not just in that bedroom, but also in the living room 15 feet away. Wouldn't do as the solo heat source, but I think if I had a second one in the living room, they would take care of the upper floor.
It's doing as well as a heater I spent over 200 bucks on a few years ago. I'm very pleased with this little thing.

What's not so great: Noisy, difficult to turn on, and only has a two prong plug in
I found this heater to be really noisy (didn't matter whether the hi or low heat setting was used). I also found this heater hard to turn on. I'd have to push the on button many, many times to get it to work. I would not recommend this heater to anyone.

What's great about it: Excellent thermostat, good price, oscillation on/off, automatic shut off if tipped over, indication if grille is hot
What's not so great: heat production does not meet my expectations
Purchased this heater to keep a small room (8' x 12') heated. Features (thermostat, oscillation control, tip over protection) are excellent and work well. Noise level is not bad; it is on par with my Honeywell fans, and thus about what I expected.
The only downside that I see for this heater is the low level of heat that it puts out. I typically operate it on the low heat (900 watt) setting due to the constraints of the room's electrical wiring. This results in it running almost constantly if I want the room at 70 degrees, with an outside temperature near 30 degrees. It is better on the high (1500 watt) setting, but still doesn't put out the amount of heat that I had hoped to receive from it.
However, considering the amount I spent on it and how well the other features work, I am pleased with this heater and do not believe that I could have gotten one that fitted my needs better for the price.

What's great about it: Timer and NO PLASTIC KNOBS
What's not so great: Nothing Really
I bought this heater to replace a similar Lasko one I bought less than a year ago. The turn knobs on the Lasko one broke off because they were made of plastic. Cheap! Cheap! I had to then use pliers to turn the knobs. Plus, it didn't always seem to push out good heat. This Honeywell one has mostly digital buttons, and a dial to turn up the heat. Plus, you can set a timer on it. It has a safety feature where if it is tipped over or even touched, it turns off - - which is taking me some time to get use to that because you can't pick it up and move it while it's running. Overall, I'd say it was an A+ purchase for the money.

What's great about it: safety features, heat output, noise level, portability
What's not so great: nothing so far!
We have a '40s cape and the rooms are a little drafty downstairs. This heater works wonders in the downstairs bedroom and office. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise, but it's honestly not much louder than my furnace when it kicks on. The only room this heater doesn't work well in is the living room, which opens into the dining room.
A major plus to me, aside from its heating abilities, is its safety features. With a 4 year old and a 17 month old, this was a concern. And, I might add, the safety features work just as described!

What's great about it: Can heat upa room quickly and very small
What's not so great: nothing found bad so far
Heats up very quickly, portable , extremely easy to use. Use it in any room where we are in. Help with our gas bill. We dont have to extremely heat up our house. When we are in one room and we are cold we take that heater to that room. If we go to a diffrent room, then the heater goes with us.. Would recommend if someone wants a small heater

What's not so great: Nothing!
I bought this heater because even though I live in San Diego, my house gets extremely cold at night. My heat isn't working right now so this was my solution. I'm honestly SO happy I bought this!! You can set it to whatever temperature you'd like and it will shut off once the room is at that temperature, but it will kick on again automatically once the temperature drops below that. I love it! I was worried it would be too loud like some reviewers said but I honestly sleep with it on every night and it will kick on and off and I don't wake up, so don't let that keep you from buying this. Keeps my room extremely warm, easy to use...perfect!

What's great about it: Straight out of the box functionality
What's not so great: Nothing yet.
The gas furnace isn't working and the landlord doesn't seem to care that its 27 degrees outside, however I have a small room so I figured a space heater would do the trick.
This thing is plug-and-go right out of the box, has a nice digital thermostat display, oscillates and all the safety features needed this day and age.
Heated my room from 52 degrees to 65 degrees in about 15 minutes and then shut off as expected.
For $42, I think I got away with a steal.
