What's great about it: Fun game, tons of replay value, intense strategy, options and options
What's not so great: except for colonization there isn't much of a storyline
Great game, I've played it non stop. There are TONS of options, If you are new to civ, RTS, or TBS you will definitely want to take the tutorial. Overall the story line amounts to not a lot more than certain "scenarios", but it is not a big deal. For 40$ you get 4 games (3 of which are technically expansions) that are priced at 20$ each, do the math. If you like RTS/TBS/sims you will NOT be disappointed with this game, it goes from insanely easy to start out with all the way up to insanely hard, all in all I believe there are over ten individual difficulty levels to choose from.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: NOTHING
This game is for intellectuals. Any person who plays this game is either a genius or a a really smart person.
I would recommend this to a friend!
