What's great about it: Excellent range and has to real blind spots
What's not so great: haven't found a down side
It works as one of the best if not the best router I have ever used. The use of the router works very well. The range is very good for such a unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: There is nothing easy about this router
I am a computer repair technician and I set up networks all day long. I bought this because I wanted to upgrade my home network to wireless "N". I also purchased a Motorola DOCSIS3.0 cable modem to get the fastest possible speed from comcast... Well, first of all, this is the hardest router I have ever encountered as far as initial setup and wireless setup. When I did finally get it setup the speeds it achieved were terrible and the dropouts were rediculous (even hardwired)! It's overall signal strength was very poor (I have a computer with no obstructions sitting not more than 20 feet away that has a TP-LINK 3T3R "N" PCI adapter) and it was slower than the old "G" I used to have! I do not recommend this router for anything. I finally got a TP-LINK Ultimate 300Mbps 3T3R Wireless N Gigabit Router TL-WR1043ND from Directron and could not be happier. The setup on the TP-Link was the easiest I have encounterd and I have yet to have a single dropout. The speeds with the TP-Link are unbelivable too!! Stay away from this Buffalo router! Needless to say I returned this router!

What's great about it: good price
What's not so great: didn't work
I bought this router to replace a Belkin with poor range. It was even worse than the Belkin. I found a D Link gigabit for $99 at Office Depot. It is the best router I have ever had. Easy set-up, great range. I've been using it for approx a month. No resets, no problems. I don't recommend Buffalo or Belkin. Save yourself the headaches and buy D Link.

What's great about it: Reliable, Beautiful design
What's not so great: You Not buying this product
This is the best router I've had, compared from a D-link which would drop my connection a lot, also a Linksys which I had to keep unplugging because it would stop responding. With this Buffalo I have not had any problems, I have not had to restart it and it has not drop my connection, it works great with PS3, PSP, and iPhone. The features are great, the ability of broadcasting 3 different SSIDs with 3 different security settings for each one, so if your devices do not support ex. WAP2 you can set another ISSD with WEP, also it has the ability of not broadcasting your SSID, you can manually change the broadcast channel, and the web interface is great. I have this router connected with Comcast internet, I've had it for about 6 months, no problems at all, and I have 10 devices (wirelessly) connect it at once and not a single connection drop in any device even when all of them are accessing the internet. The design is beautiful, slim and small.

What's great about it: Never Disconnects!
What's not so great: Backfed to our Fiber Optic Switch
I have only owned Buffalo wireless routers so I have nothing to compare too. This was the second one I purchased. When I purchased it I set it up in 5 minutes and it was working wonderfully. Even easier to set up than our first one. Owned it for 3 weeks and kept having problems with our TV not working. (Our TV and internet all comes into our house via fiber optic and all of it shares a switch). I got this router at the same time we switched to the fiber optic...and in 3 week period TV/Internet kept going out...The techs were out at our house 5-6 different times testing and trying to figure out why our TV's and internet would not connect to their system. They originally thought it was a problem with their stuff. After doing a multitude of tests they found that this wireless router was the problem. It was backfeeding into our switch causing everything to lockup. They told me they didn't know if it was deffective or if the Buffalo Technology just didn't work with the fiber optic system. They thousands of customers and no one else ever had this problem with their wireless routers but they said we were the only ones that had a Buffalo one. I didn't risk it and returned it to Best Buy today and am ordering another brand. I was told to go with Netgear or Lynxis.
I was bummed about this since I thought it was working so great then to find out it's the root of all our problems was dissappointing. I don't want to order a different brand but am not going to order the same one just in case it's not just a defective router and it's just not compatible with our system.
My advice is that if this works with your system then it's GREAT but I had to give it low reviews for value and performance because I coudn't use it with my system at all.

What's great about it: Doesnt Disconnect.
What's not so great: Nothing
Had this router for a couple of months and i love it. the great thing about it comes with "AOSS", which only buffalo carries, you can connect your DS, WII, PS3 and PSP with a push of a button, it does the installation for you by easy steps. had use other routers but they dont compare to this one.
