Hands down this is the best console on the market. I had my xbox 360 for 2 years. People may say that it over heats easy, (which it does) but i havnt had a problem with RROD yet. They have a wide variety of games to chose from. Also since you have to pay to have Xbox Live the connection is fast and great. It also has alot of downloadable content. I have to buy a new mic about every 2-3 months, they are cheaply made. DO NOT BUY A WIRELESS MIC. They cost alot of money. and you WILL replace it.
What's great about it: It offers many great qualities.
What's not so great: The headsets break easy, about every 2-3 months i have to buy a new one. DONT BUY A WIRELESS MIC.

Gonna pick this up in about 3 days, i just hope its in stock.
I like the choice of games added. this is simply the best you bundle you could get right now. If it ever breaks down within the warranty MS will repair it at no cost and pay for the shipping fees.

I payed lots of money I should get a cd decoder too. I play burnt cds on my notebook thats ten years old it should play in the xbox "said the xbox agent '
What's great about it: the seletion of games is huge
What's not so great: it does not play the hustle and flow sound track

For $400, the price of the Xbox 360 Elite alone, you are not only getting a great system, but also two of its best games. Halo 3 is perhaps the greatest multiplayer game ever made, and Fable II is one heck of an absorbing RPG. The average review scores for these games, from popular video game websites, are 95 (Halo 3) and 90 (Fable II) out of 100. Plus, the Xbox 360, itself, has the definitive online experience around. All in all, this is an amazing deal, and one that any gamer should seriously consider.
What's great about it: You get the best version of the Xbox 360 (120 GB) with two of its best games for free!
What's not so great: These games do not offer the best graphics the system can run (see: Gears of War 2), but they come pretty darn close.
I would recommend this to a friend!

hook up instructions too vague,assumes everyone is an electrician and tv cable installler. pictures don't show much,customer service is a mine field of talking to a machine vs just getting a real person and getting your questions answered quickly.make you register and agree to their terms before they will help you. grinds horribly on start up, unit gets hot very fast. a lot of steps in programming.if i had to do over again would get a wii.not a good experience from the time i took it out of the box.
What's great about it: graphics, not a whole lot of e rated games that i saw
What's not so great: noisy, directions stink,must register before customer service will even help you,gets very hot very fast

Well folks I'm back, writing an updated reveiw of my XB elite. Unit did get hit with the RROD and all the other things all in one day 7-31-09. To be honest I figured I'm done,going to have go see BB and get another. Well folks, called Microsoft CS. Waited to be told just how unlucy I was, but take note,all was not lost, I was told unit will be fixed for free I did have the extended warranty on the unit, by way of Microsoft, They would fix or replace. Mailed from UPS store $5 to do that the box shipping free according to microsoft tracking,unit was fixed 8-6-09 and it on it way back. All i can say is that the customer service reps that i talked to well I way the one that was flustered,they were the calm ones. I was told that the repair depot replaces 156 parts everytime so that means whole new insides. Damit I'm a 60 yr old gamer,love my XB elite and here to tell you that my customer service experience with MS well just like the xbox 360 Elite my first impression second to none I will update when the box returns. Later!!
What's great about it: It's a Elite
What's not so great: No Blue Ray

xbox 360 is probably 1 of the best gamer machines mostly because of games but when you go away from the games and look at the hardware it just terrible,its loud, overheats,RROD,YOU HAVE TO BUY A LOT OF EXTRAS so i would suggest getting a ps3 40-160 gb

What's not so great: almost everything except the games

The Xbox 360 elite is slightly high in price for a video game system. I would much prefer a ps3 over the xbox 360. The ps3 can do much more than than xbox 360 is capable of doing. PS3 is a blu-ray player, which the 360 is not. Even with the copyright data the 360 is much stricter than the ps3. The 360 has halo series which is good for it, but the ps3 has other games that are just as good if not better. The internet is also free on the ps3 where 360 charges you a fee. Overall the 360 is an alright system but I would prefer the ps3 over it.
What's great about it: The Graphics and select games
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi well i got my xbox around november 2007 i had it for about a year when i got the rings of death and had to send it in but luckly i bought incrense from best buy and all i had to do was come in and they exchange it for a BRAND NEW one an other thing is when i had bought it for $450 and thanks to the price cut of the elite bestbuy have me a $50 gift card so if your planning to buy one i know it seem like a lot for incrense but just spend a little more and get also many people say that it scathes the game but that to the NEW XBOX EXPERINCE you burn your game on the hardrive so no more need to worry about scrathes games !!!!

What's not so great: the rings of death

red ring of death sucks but thankfully microsoft is very very good at backing this up for their customers. i would strongly recommend getting a geek squad black tie protection for this system since the red ring of death will happen.

The Xbox 360 has three versions, arcade, pro, and then there's this piece of work, THE ELITE! this is definitely my favorite of the three types, for one it comes with a good hard drive with lots of storage space, and its BLACK!!! The only con is that it is a pretty penny, but if you have it it is definitely worth it.
What's great about it: Plays Everything Xbox!
What's not so great: A bit pricy for the average bloke!

it always tells me my disk has scratches even if it`s brand new, the music will cut out all the time (even though the sound fx don`t) not a grate variety of games. nothing but shooters and UN-impressive YPG`s. not the highest HD quality, only a little backwards compatible, extreme measures have to be taken with online. hackable, and allows no real online protection. wifi is low, if possible at all. bulk controls. controller needs to be charged every 5 hours. unresponsive. loud, overheats, crashes (who ever heard of a console crashing? i mean why Microsoft... why!?) this year will not be an x-box year.
What's great about it: nothing!
What's not so great: everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this system, it is defiantly the best of the three, all games are HD, you can link your net flix account with your xbox and watch movies right from your xbox, and all games have online capability
What's great about it: All games have Online capability , and HD quality

I love this system I have been playing it al the time since i got it a few days ago....the graphics are superb and the game play is really fun...I cant wait to plug this baby up to online gameplay!!!!

The Xbox 360 Elite is a great console! The graphics are amazing (assuming your TV can handle them). The low refresh rate on my TV caused a few horizontal lines during game play (using the HDMI output) which wasn't very often. If I would have used the component cables I don't think I would have that problem BUT I like using the HDMI because it has the HD audio and video all in one small cable. A lot of the complaints with the Xbox's are not even Xbox problems, it's the user or other hardware. The main things to remember is to keep not only the console itself in a well ventilated area but the power supply box needs plenty of venting also. Overall great product when used with common sense!
What's great about it: HDMI, graphics, quiet, Windows Media Center
What's not so great: the steps you need to take to keep it from overheating (which isn't a big deal it's moslty common sense)
