What's great about it: Very easy to use, set up, and text. Great picture taking.
What's not so great: Shorter battery life than last phone because of many great added extras.
This phone is great! Very easy to use and set up along with easy texting, picture taking, touch phone, and web browser. Good sound too. I love my phone!

What's great about it: 3.2 MP camera, internet access, mp3 player, SD card slot
What's not so great: battery life, touch screen at times
I waited awhile for this phone to come out. I had previously been using the ENV2. for about the first month I had it, I couldn't put it down. he phones features are amazing, plus you don't have to pay $30 for a smart phone plan. the only issue I have with the phone is that the touch screen is not always cooperative. I went through a month span where I almost had to re-calibrate it everyday. I eventually got to the point where I only use the inside of the phone. I heard the touch screen is a hit or miss most of the time, so if you have problems initially, I would swap it out for a new one. other than that, it's overall a very good phone.

What's great about it: cool phone. i love the touch screen and keyboard
What's not so great: battery life could be better....
it's a good phone. the battery life isn't great, but a few days is OK for me. if you're constantly txting that is.... but if you don't text that much it might last more like a week. the touch screen sometimes has issues but those were small and other than that great.

Had this phone for a couple of days, and all i can say is that it is worth the money. It has a great camera, and it can also work as a mp3 player. So if your thinking of buying it, buy IT.

What's great about it: I love everything about this phone, it is very easy to use and a very nice phone.
What's not so great: The only thing that is not so great is the battery life.
I just got this phone a few weeks ago and i must say it is the best phone i have ever owned. It has every single feature i can think of, it is easy to use, and i really like the fact that you have the choice of using the touch screen to text or also using the keypad inside. I would recommend this phone for anyone that is sick of having a standard keypad phone, advance to the touch screen...it is well worth it.

What's great about it: Excellent Touch Screen Responsiveness, High Resolution 3" LCD's, Great Camera and Video.
What's not so great: Battery Life, with a pair of 3" LCD's what do you really expect?
I just upgraded from the LG enV2 (Have owned/used the VX8500, VX8600, VX8700, Dare and Voyager) and I'm not at all disappointed. I was reluctant to get a touch screen phone because I was a bit turned off by the sensitivity of the touchscreen on the LG Dare, but the combination of the full QWERTY and touch screen comforted that hesitation. I'm very happy with the touch screen. It's very high resolution and once calibrated is very accurate. I actually find myself using it to type rather than the qwerty most of the time. The ringer volume is a bit low, but the sound quality is very good especially when using the speakers. I like that it has a regular headphone jack as well. I've made several calls and send a lot of text messages, all without a problem. I love the Panorama mode on the Camera, it automatically stitches up to 5 images together to create a nice ultra wide screen panorama
I did at first have a few times where the phone froze up and restarted, but after talking with Verizon, they said it was faulty hardware. After I swapped it out I've had no issues.
If you've used the LG Voyager, this is essentially the Voyager 2. It's got a higher resolution screen, better touch sensitivity, better sound and has more options. I paired this with a Zagg Invisible Shield to protect it and am loving it. Too bad the battery hasn't lasted as well as I'd hoped. Still I get 2-3 days under normal usage now that I'm not playing with it all day long. Initially I got a day of use, probably because I couldn't put it down.

What's great about it: 2 very clear screens, 3.2 mp camera, virtual keyboard and qwerty keyboard, good calll quality, shortcuts on touch screen
What's not so great: short battery life
I have had this phone for a little over two weeks and I am very satisfied with it. First of all, it is very easy to use. I haven't once looked at the manuals. The front touch screen is very responsive and has a nice virtual keyboard. Also, on the home page, you can set up shortcuts for easy access to certain programs. This came in handy. The qwerty keyboard on the inside is very sleek and easy to type on. LG changed the design of their qwerty keyboards; the keys are flatter and the spacebar is in the middle. For me i found it easier to type with the keyboard in the middle. The camera quality and features were surprising. There are many different shooting modes and color effects. Also, there is a drawing pad on the touch screen which I thought was cool. The sound quality for calls is great and i haven't had any problems with that. Texts are received very fast and your messages can be sorted by contact; so it is viewed as more like a conversation. There is also and instant reply feature on the internal screen which is helpful. Mobile IM was a little dissappointing. I was hoping there would be a newer version, but there wasn't. The version that comes on the phone isn't great. It has some bugs. Sometimes it will log me out randomly or freeze up. Lastly, the battery life is not good. The battery barely lasts me a day (about 10am to 8 or 9pm). I usually just try to keep it plugged in when I am home. I would suggest getting some sort of case if you are the type of person who, like me, drops their phone. Also, screen protectors because the screens will not look good when they're all scratched up. Overall, it is still a great phone and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice new phone.

What's great about it: User friendly...It does what it is supposed to do.
What's not so great: No cons as of yet...
I went through 1000s of reviews from multiple sources. The only negative that was mentioned was the battery life. I can't say that it has been an issue with mine whatsoever.
Over all the phone is a great piece of technology. It is the Dare and Voyager combined. It would have been called the Voyager 2 but due to the fact that Plantronics owns the rights to the Voyager name it received the Env tag.
The touch screen on the phone works very well. Yes, for those out there that have not had any experience with a touch phone it will take a little getting use to.
The virtual Qwerty keyboard on the touch screen is nice even for my rather large fingers, and the option of the actual keyboard is a big plus.
The accelerometer is very fast. When you tilt the phone to landscape mode it reacts within a second. It has a great UI..
The phone is very user friendly. I have found myself referring to the user guide twice since I have had the phone. I have had experience with everything from the Palm(treo) to the Blackberry Storm(and everything in between.)
I could go on forever about how much I love this phone. I have no doubt that this is the best phone in the Verizon line-up hands down...
Plus you do not need the $30 data plan that you need with smart phones.
This is as close as you can get to a smart phone without the tag.
If you are considering this phone don't...Just get it. You will not be sorry.
...Oh I noticed that a few people have stated that the camera has no zoom. This is not true. When you get the phone the camera is pre-set at the highest resolution(2048x1536.) When it is set to the highest resolution the zoom feature is disabled. It also has a video feature that can record up to 1hr of video w/sound.
If you are afraid of the battery issue there is a 1500mah battery available. Please be advised that if you purchase this battery the backs for the hard cases for this phone will not work due to the battery is slightly larger than the stock 950mah battery. I would also suggest investing in screen protectors. It is worth the cost to safe guard the screen and they make a world of difference.

What's great about it: Easy to use, Good for texting and calling, Touch screen good. takes good pictures
What's not so great: Extremly short battery life (Worse if text a lot), No Zoom for camera, Sometimes hard to text on the touch screen
i have only had this phone for about two weeks now. I previously had the EnV (which i loved because it was easy for texting). After Switching i love this phone because you can easily acess your text messages in one place. But has very bad battery life. Takes very nice pictures.. but it has no zoom...which kinda sucks. It is a great phone if you have had an EnV or any other texting phone. The touch screen may not be for you so make sure you play with it to try it out.

What's great about it: So many easy to use features packed into a compact sized phone
What's not so great: It's so new, that there are very few accessories out for it at the moment.
I just got this phone and I'm loving it! I have never been a fan of texting but this phone has made it a much more tolerable task. The built in speakers are far too good for a phone and the touch screen, once you get a handle on it, rivals the i phone. The 3.2 megapixel camera is excellent and offers a wider range of features than I've ever seen on a phone. the business card recorder alone blows me away. The ability to take panoramic shots however floored me. I highly recommend this phone if you're looking to upgrade or start a plan with Verizon. The built in memory is a little low so I'd also recommend an SD memory card if you like to listen to music and you WILL like listening to music on this phone.

What's great about it: It has a lot of cool features, very nice camera with auto focus, decent touch screen
What's not so great: Terrible battery life
I've had the phone since the day after it came out, it's basically the voyager except improved. So far I love the phone... I'm an avid cell user and rather technologically savvy, so it's a lot to say I even like a cell phone!
One MAJOR drawback to LG is their battery life. This phone doesn't last me through the day. I unplug it around 10 am and it lasts until 4 if I'm lucky. Keep in mind this is a brand new battery too. It wouldn't be much of a problem EXCEPT they don't even make an extended life battery for it!
I used to have the V3 Chocolate (that phone had so many problems) but the battery size is the same for both phones. Definitely inadequate.

What's not so great: I like everything so far
I purchased a Dare and wasnt sure I liked it or not difficult to text on. The env touch just came out and I traded the Dare for this since still in the 30 day period. I love the phone so far. The sound clarity is good. It has lots of games to download and a really clear screen. I like the 16 gb card so I can download a lot of music and pictures the Dare only went up to 8. Much easier to text with this phone then the Dare. If I had to have a 2 year contract I wanted to really like the phone, and I really liked this one.

What's great about it: TWO Big screens, ful QWERTY keyboard, good camera, senitive touch screen, good call quality
What's not so great: Touch screen is a finger print magnet.
Despite the EnV name this is actually the secessor to the LG Voyager. I personally owned the EnV 2 and the Voyager, and can say this is a wonderful upgrade to both. When closed its a great touch screen phone, with a sensitive touch screen and tacticle feedback. Open it up and it become a great texting phone, with another wonderful 3 inch screen and keyboard with key that even someone with large fingers can use. the camera is very good for a phone camera, and has some nice options. Its also a decent MP3 player. Sound is decent coming from the built in speakers (better than most phone speakers) and sounds great using a good pair of headphones. It also includes other neat feature like a flash-enabled browser, calender w/ reminders, and a reader that can display Word documents. All in all its the closest thing to a smartphone without having to pay the ~$30/month fee. Its probably the best Verizon has to offer right now.
