What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: Everything. Will not work with new ipods
This program is not one you want to do anything with your ipod. It did absolutely nothing that it said it could do. Will not work with the newest ipods. This program has no updates or service packs to update it. Not worth the money or time.

Had to downloand and older version of iTunes to get this to work. Given the amount of time I spent getting this to finally work you're better off buying something more expensive that is up to date!

What's not so great: did not work
The software was easy to install, however it kept saying to plug in ipod or iphone when it was plugged in. I tried it with 3 different computers and 3 different ipods, and 2 iphones.

great product to buy if your computer crashes and have no way of getting everything off your ipod touch only problem was it doesn't support latest version of itunes and ipod software had to contact tech support for help with getting updates and contact apple to downgrade my itunes so i can use this product, otherwise a great item

Did not work with Windows 7. Couldn't uninstal it. Ended up having to do a Restore operation of my computer.

What's great about it: It works as promised, you get all your songs back
What's not so great: You have to get an additional software update for it to initially work
This product does not work when you initially install it. It won't register any iPod connected to the computer. I had to search the internet and until I found this website: http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/kb.aspx?kb_id=1149&product_id=2562, which explained that the software does not recognize the newest version of iTunes so I completed an online support request. They got back to me within a day with instructions on how to update the software, including a free download for the update. After I completed the steps, it recognized my iPod and I got all 8,000 of my songs back!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It lets you take your songs from an old Ipod and transfer them to your computer and then to your new Ipod.
What's not so great: Difficult to use, the instructions don't say anything about having to go to the web and download updates.
I tried to get it to work for days and almost gave up. Then I went to the web and found a tutorial that explains that it never works right out of the box. You have to download updates to get it to work. It was still not the easiest to use but I was thrilled to tears when my library of over 2,000 songs was loaded on my computer and then to my new Ipod.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instructions are not there. You have to try clicking on things to see what they do. An on line instruction manual would be the best

I bought the 3.0 yesterday, when I tried to use it today it would no recognize my ipod classic. Do not listen to the review that says the tunesplus 2.0 works great, well maybe it does, but the 3.0 version is horrible and a waste of money. Use media monkey instead.

I wish I would have read the reviews also. I emailed the company hoping to get a refund. Doesn't do what it's suppose to and will not recognize the nano.

This program straight lies to your face. It tells you in big bold letters on the front of the box that you can convert video and transfer music, it wont even ID an ipod, any ipod, on your computer. I am surprised Best Buy still carries it. Do not buy this!!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: there is nothing great about this product
What's not so great: it does not recognize any movies you have either your pc, external harddrive, or itunes,
on the front box it says, will convert video to ipod format, what a bunch of crock! I think this could be false advertising. Dont buy this product!!

I really wish I would have seen the reviews on this product before I got it today! It does not work at all when you load it on your windows computer it brings up a error and shuts it completely down every time! I might as well threw 20 dollars out the window it will not even recognize my i pod touch and it wants to shut down every time it starts.

What's not so great: Microsoft Windows tuneplus has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I am sad for my waste time tuneplugs 3.0 no good matches too !!!.

It would let me transfer 1 or 2 songs at a time. You had to X out of iTunes every time. This software is worthless!

What's great about it: Easy install, transferred first time, no problems!
What's not so great: NA
Im surprised by all of these reviews on here. I purchased the 2.o version last year, which is now updated to the current 3.0 version. Has worked great from the start. Transferred 40 gigs of music and videos onto my pc and organized and tagged it all flawlessly on the first shot. I was on here shopping for this because I couldnt locate the cd from last year. Found it after reading these reviews, I was looking at repurchasing this software. Dont be fooled, the new version is compatible with all new itouch / iphones, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Despite a picture of a Touch on the box and the description indicating that it works with a Touch, it does not. As soon as you connect, an error message tells you the program has stopped working because of a problem with Windows.

What's not so great: IT DOESNT WORK WITH THE ITOUCH OR THE IPHONE!
I was very excited to find some reasonably priced software that would transfer my music off of an ipod to a computer. When it easily installed i was very reluctant to say this was too easy, then it crashed when i plugged my Itouch into it. Sad Day :(
