What's great about it: Easy to use, nice functions
What's not so great: the gps could be smaller
The heart monitor and the GPS do their job properly

What's great about it: Excellent heart rate monitor
What's not so great: GPS is useless
I bought this product a week ago and love some of the features. Polar makes awesome heart rate monitors. The watchband is really light, but that is because the computing unit is a little large and they are saving weight. I can't stand big watches, but this one doesn't bother me - I got used to it really fast. The heart rate monitor works excellently. I don't know about women or skinny guys, but as an overweight male I can attest that you don't even notice the chest strap after a few minutes. I appreciate that when excercising you can pick which reading is in the foreground - HR, pace, stopwatch, distance, etc.
I am bothered that I haven't been able to get the GPS to work. You turn on the watch, turn on the gps sensor in the watch's settings, then turn on the gps unit. I have used it four times now - woods, neighborhood with trees, woods, neighborhood without trees. Ironically it worked best the two times i used it in the woods. I thought the trees might be blocking it, so i ran somewhere with no trees and it still spend the whole hour "searching for satellites". I think maybe the AA battery for the GPS is dying ... because it shut itself off every now and then. I couldn't tell if it has an auto-off because it couldn't find satellites or if because it was low on power.
