What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Connector doesn't stay in place
I've had this mouse for quite some time, don't remember exactly for how long. Definitely over a year, may be even 2. I use it only with my laptop at work, and to tell you the truth, the absence of wires that mess the table is a bliss. The battery life is great, I only use Duracell with it.
The only downside is that the connector doesn't sit too tight in it's slot, so if you carry it in your bagpack's pocket, like I do, there is a high chance it'll fall out of its place and turn the mouse on, wasting the battery. So now I just turn the mouse off manually and drop the connector in the same pocket with the mouse.

Bought this as a replacement for a hp mouse that came with my netbook. It works great. It is very comfortable, the red color was a bit different than the picture. However, I caught this on sale for $10 can't go wrong! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a compact wireless mouse to travel or even for home use.

Good part of review is that this Logitech has a great battery life. The mouse itself also works good except on smooth surfaces such as sheets in bed.
The immediate problem that I had was with the Receiver which plugs into the USB port. On this model the mouse has a place to store it. After my first use I pulled the Receiver out of the USB port and to my surprise only a portion of the Receiver came out!
I then realized that there is a lip on some of the Logitech Receivers of their wireless mice. At the time I pulled the Receiver out I separated the lip from the rest of the Receiver leaving the shell in my laptop!
Of course this was the evening of the first day of my online purchase! I called Logitech the next day and was only able to leave messages. A Logitech rep did call back that afternoon. His attitude was disappointing after explained how the the Receiver came apart the first time I pulled out the USB port. He asked me why I take out in the first place and had an attitude in his voice as if I did something wrong! Well, this Receiver is at least one inch in length so I certainly would not leave it in my laptop when storing it!
After about 15 minutes of speaking to the Logitech employee he told me would send me a replacements telling me it would be difficult for the mouse to pick up a new Receiver then continued to s. I expected both a mouse and a Receiver but only got a Receiver.
I would not recommend neither this mouse nor any mouse with this type receiver. The Logitech new receivers that are so short that they can stay in laptops are great.

What's not so great: has problems after about 6 months
i bought this mouse in december. its now almost june and this mouse has worked good until now. a few weeks ago it started having trouble responding to movement. and later on started spazzing out. moving the cursor, and jumping around the screen, scrolling, and clicking on things by itself. i dont know what hapend to it i tried chaning batteries, reseting it, everything. it just wont work. i will be buying a different one to replace it. too bad it was a very nice mouse while it lasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: The ease of use,size and design.
What's not so great: None so far.
I have owned and used two previous wireless laptop/notebook mouses: Mirrcosoft and Logitech. Logitech by far is a superior product and this model has many upgrades from the older model. The most noteable is the much improved storage for the wireless adapter which is now securely attached and will automatically turn on and off the device. Logitech continues to make superior products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Comfortable & not too small
What's not so great: Wheel makes noise
It's a great little mouse. Logitech always makes good mice.
It's very easy to use. Windows Vista SP2 x64 has no problem finding / locating / communicating with the mouse. The mouse responded quickly as if it were USB/PS2 mouse. Wake up nicely after into sleep mode (PC or mouse). Resume from hibernation works very well too.
I don't have huge hands. My regular mouse is LX7 with forward / back buttons. This mouse is fairly small under comparison. My hands rests on it nicely / easily. It does not cause me cramps or discomfort.
I do miss the forward / back buttons, though. LX7 has the back / forward buttons right to use with both hands. I find myself clicking as if they were back / forward buttons.
The wheel scrolls fine, although it is VERY loud when scrolling compare to other mice I have used. Wish it as quiet as LX7 or V200 I had previously.
The cover is not reflective materials. Therefore, it might attract dirt more easily. Considering this is a laptop mouse, it might not be as a good choice as V200. Although V200 is slippery comparing to V220.

What's great about it: Made of great materials, feels good, battery life, lightweight
What's not so great: Technical Issues
I was pleased with this mouse for the first 4 months but then I got an error when I plugged the USB adapter in saying "Unknown Device." With this error, I could not use the mouse any longer. I looked for solutions but nothing worked. I don't think this was caused by me in anyway. Regardless, this mouse feels great and if your lucky enough to avoid an issue like mine, it will last awhile.

What's great about it: it is easy to use on any surface
What's not so great: The batteries die quickly
I got this on sale for about $15 and it matches my computer. I like the ease, but you need to remember to turn it off and I highly recommend rechargeable batteries on hand fully charge because I can only go about 2 days without changing. Since this is my first wireless mouse, I don't know if that is normal or not. Overall though, since I stocked up on the batteries, I really like it.

Great product for the price, I bought it for the kids and they have dropped it a million times, it also uses a AA battery which we haven't had a need to replace for a long time, and even if we do, we have the rechargable battery which will last forever.

What's great about it: It's a nice size for my laptop.
What's not so great: I'd prefer the smaller receiver you can get with the higher priced cordless mouse.
I've always been happy with Logitech products. When searching for new electronic accessories I've often ended up with Logitech or at least give them a close look. The quality and price are hard to match. This mouse is another example of their quality product. And Best Buy's deal with free shipping made it a "no brainer". Thanks Best Buy!

What's great about it: Small and lightweight. Responsive and tracks well. Seems fairly well built. The rubbery grip on the sides is nice.
What's not so great: The reciever is large and blocks up an extra USB port when the ports are stacked vertically such as those on my Thinkpad
The red matches the Thinkpad colour scheme nicely. Designed so that the mouse automatically switches off when reciever is slid in. I got it for 9.99 on sale at the time so it was worthwhile. Normal price, no.

What's great about it: It works without a bunch of fuss. Plug it in and off you go!
What's not so great: nothing
This model comes in several colours, so that's a real plus. But the best thing is, you just plug the little USB fob into a port and it works. No software, no waiting. The fob click-locks into place under the mouse, so you're not hunting around for two items, and when you click it into place, it shuts it off automatically. When you remove the fob, it automatically flips the little switch on, so there's no fussing around with anything really. If you want to save on the batter, you can just flip the little switch on the bottom. There's no noticeable wait time for it to work.

What's great about it: Color choice, great sale price, much better than laptop touchpad
What's not so great: Range, USB adapter
Mouse is great to use instead of that terrible laptop touchpad. Nice little storage area for USB adapter, also turns mouse on and off by removing and replacing the adapter on the bottom of the mouse. Standard wireless ranges aren't as great as bluetooth, but always next to computer when I use this mouse. Sometimes wished I would have opted for the mouse with the mini USB adapter, but this was the better colored one, sometimes that's what it comes down too. May regret the USB sometimes, but not enough to give it a bad review. Great purchase.

What's great about it: No connection problems, perfect size

We bought this mouse a second time because I used our first one to death! It is a great product, has no problem connecting to my laptop, and is a great fit in my hand. My one complaint is that the USB stick storage is not internal, like the old model. What I mean, is when the USB is stored, the mouse does not rest flush with the surface it is sitting on. Not a huge deal, still love the mouse.

The mouse worked right away not software needed. The mouse feels good & works good. The USB key feels cheap and is kinda big. It doesn't fit inside the mouse for transport. The USB just attaches to the bottom of the mouse. Still a good deal for $10.

What's not so great: red color could be a nicer shade.
The good: Comfortable; Light weight; USB Dongle attaches to the mouse for storage; Automatically turns off when USB dongle is attached. Worked right out-of-the box with Vista & Linux Netbook Remix.
The not so good: The USB dongle fell apart after the second use - wasn't hard to put back together, but sort of annoying. The red plastic on the mouse looks extremely cheap, but can't really complain for the low low price :)
