What's great about it: Fairly inexpensive and easy to set up
What's not so great: Nothing as of yet
I had purchased this memory for my parents old computer as it needed some more memory, the computer is running loads faster, from starting up to just starting programs. Took me maybe 5 minutes to install the memory, including taking the computer apart so very fast and had no trouble what so ever once it was in and the computer was on. Overall great upgrade for an older computer!

inferior product had to return . after install started getting blue screen errors. removed and replace with my old memory and no errors. And best buy takes there time in shipping product out

I ordered 2 of the 2x1g packs of memory. Upgraded my PC from 1g to new 4 g in under 10 minutes had it up an running. It booted right up and been running lighting fast every since.

I bought this memory to improve the performace of my desktop PC. It only had 512KB of memory. I bought the two-pack of 1GB DIMM memory and installed it on my desktop. It took me about 30 minutes to install and it would have been faster if not for the design of the PC. This had nothing to do with the DIMM's themselves. But once I got it installed it booted up without issues and now the performace is amazing! Would highly recommend!

What's great about it: Two memory modules almost for the price of one. Able to quadruple the system speed with a quick memory upgrade
When they no longer had PNY PC3200 in stock, I went with Memory Master. Once the modules were installed, I could tell the difference, as I increased the RAM from one-half MB to 2MB, a fourfold increase for my old Dell desktop. Result: It's much faster to startup the computer and load the Internet sites.
However, my 400MHz clock speed dropped to 333 MHz with the two memory modules. I called Memory Master, and a technician agreed this was unusual but noted the system speed is affected much more by the Memory capacity than the RAM clock speed. I know he's right, but I wish the two new modules could have maintained the original 400MhZ rate.

When I installed my 2 GB of memory, my computer was only able to see 1.5 GB. I expect a little off, but 25%!?!

I've used Kingston chips before and Memory Master chips work just as well for me and cost half the price. I'm more concerned with performance than the name on the product.
