Bought this p00p product from Best Buy online and once it arrived I installed the ram into my Macbook and when i booted my computer it didn't work. So I took 1 Memory master stick (2gb) out and out my stock stick (1gb) in and the computer booted just fine but only having 3gb of RAM. I switched out the two sticks i had currently installed with my other stock RAM and my other NEW Memory Master stick and it also worked. In conclusion I could not have the pair of 2gb Memory Master RAM installed on my computer at the same time I have to mix and match with my old stock RAM 1gb. Also, i drove about 35 minutes to Best Buy to return this CR4P product and they told me that i cannot return it in store HAHAHAHA how are you going to sell me something on YOUR website and not allow me to return it at YOUR store? All in all DON'T BUY THIS unless you want to fill your garbage

What's great about it: Nothing. Had to order same product from new egg. It worked!
What's not so great: The memory would not work in the iMac.
When I installed it the computer would not boot. When I put the old memory in it booted fine. After speaking with an Apple tech Best Buy transferred me to, we were able to use the original 1 gig sim with one of the two Best Buy 2 gig sims to get a total of 3 gigs.
I purchased four gigs of corsair ram from New Egg, installed them with no problem. Same specs as the Best Buy sims. Not sure why the Best Buy memory would not work.

My son saved his money to add memory to his mac laptop. the specs on this product ARE compatible with his computer however it doesn't work properly. When we tried to return it we were told it was some sort of 3rd party purchase so we couldn't return it.
I WILL NEVER BUY FORM BESTBUY.COM AGAIN. There is no obvious indication as to whether you are buying a product from Best Buy or from some unknown "3rd party" vendor.

The memory was not compatible with my Early 2008 MacBook. Installed it correctly multiple times, and it never started up. I ended up re-installing my old memory and my MacBook worked fine. I gave it an average rating, because it just may not be compatible with my computer.

Installed this RAM in my Toshiba A205 laptop as an upgrade over the 2GB. Computer boots slightly faster now, and recognized the full 4 GB of RAM. I would recommend it!

I bought this product to improve the speed on my HP. I did notice a small improvement but I did not expect much to begin with so I didn't want to spend much. I was so worried about installing the RAM myself. I worried for nothing: it was so very easy to install. I did have to repeat the install to get my system to recognize the upgrade, but well worth the time.

Honestly, I should've known better! Best Buy should stop selling these stuff! Bought, installed (easy installation by the way), nothing happened on my 2007 late iMac. Re installed my old memory module and it worked, tried these Memory master RAM junk on other imac: SAME THING! No response! I should've read the other reviews, not the initial 3 on the 1st page! ... THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRODUCT FOR IMAC'S or any other computer ... TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! DON'T BUY!!

The price for this dual pack of ram blew away everyone I looked at, crucial.com and even the in store price at best buy were almost double this price for a single stick of memory. I highly recommend this product.

The product works as expected. Has increased performance on machine. However since my laptop has only Windows XP Pro SP3, it can only utilize about 3.25GB of the 4GB amount because I have a 32bit system. Other than that, a good buy.
