What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Everything
The slicer is NOT professional grade by a long shot. The blade flexes, it slices uneven unless you make the slices very thick. Really only usefull to slice bread. I use it to slice meats, and it is almost better to use a knife. If I could, I would return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
