UPC: 711719803102
SynopsisExperience the versatility and precision of PlayStation 3 with this exciting bundle featuring a PlayStation 3 console, the game LittleBigPlanet and the film Wall-E on Blu-ray Disc. Featuring a high-definition Blu-ray Disc player, an 80GB HDD and easy access to the PlayStation Network, PlayStation 3 primes you to explore new horizons and amazing possibilities. The console also plays DVDs and CDs, is Internet-ready with built-in Wi-Fi and offers HDMI output for 1080p resolution. With blistering speeds and dazzling graphics, PlayStation 3 propels you into entirely new worlds of imagination and excitement. It all begins with Blu-ray, a next-generation media format that boasts more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs. More storage capacity means a larger canvas to create high-definition, 1080p graphics and a level of interaction never before seen in video gaming. At the heart of the PlayStation 3 is the Cell Broadband Engine. Developed by engineers from Sony, SCEI, IBM and Toshiba, this advanced, state-of-the-art microprocessor features eight Synergistic Processor Units to balance processor workload, making it significantly more powerful than traditional single-core processors. The game and movie included with this bundle give you an opportunity to explore the myriad technological advances of PlayStation 3. In LittleBigPlanet, you'll enter a world fired by your own imagination in which virtually limitless possibilities for customization give you the power to personalize your own "SackBoy" character and even design your own unique levels. In the film Wall-E, you'll join a heartwarming robot on a dazzling intergalactic adventure rendered in astonishing clarity and detail courtesy of impressive Blu-ray Disc technology.

What's great about it: PS3 Rules. Graphics.
What's not so great: Nothing!
Though there may be a new bundle that may be considered better. I think this one is better than the new bundle. Since this one came with a 46 tv with it. In other words when i bought it. You got a 46 inch Sony tv and a PS3 for 1399. The TV on its own was 1099 so i only paid $200 for my PS3 not 400 or 500 like other people.

What's great about it: Blu-Ray Player, Free Online Gaming, Supreme Graphics, Hi-Def, Very Sturdy.
What's not so great: Just a little pricey, it cannot play PS2 games anymore...
This is the best choice if you're gonna choose because not only this is a next-gen gaming system, it is also a next-gen top-of-the-line computer and Blu-Ray player! Unlike the XBOX360, you don't have to buy a subscription to play online, download demos and trailers. The PS3 has very strong 3D graphics. Even better if you have an LCD TV with the HDMI cable. It'll deliver even more stunning Hi-Def Graphics. I recommend the PS3 to everyone looking for a gaming console. When you bought this console home and turn it on, you'll be screaming like a girl!!

What's great about it: Easy to Setup, Bundle kit is really worth
What's not so great: Blu-ray doesn't come with Remote control
This is my first gaming console- Ordered by ship to store. Best buy service is excellent. I saw a package seal was open. He has replaced a different box with a smile.
I did a little research comparing with WII and Xbox 360 and found worth buying a blu-ray with gaming console .
This bundle is a value for money and great for kids.LBP game itself costs 59$ and the movie is a 30$
I found this is a amazing product , My entire family loves it. Watched Wall-E blu-ray movie, it's an excellent picture quality on my LCD 720P. It would be better in 1080. don't forget to connect with HDMI cable.
Easy Set up.. just read the manual and follow the instructions. It will be ready in 5 to 10 mins.
I did my system Version update: Connect your system with wired/ wireless and update your version to 2.80 . Its pretty easy.

What's great about it: Great game catalog, online service is free, overall good reliability
What's not so great: The yellow light of death (YLOD)
I will be buying this bundle very soon. My generation one PS3 has experienced the YLOD which I understand is most often seen the the early generation 60 gig systems. Our current PS3 has logged many hours of use and although it is a little discouraging that a $600 (at the time) entertainment system has experienced this problem, I am confident the new system will be more robust. After all, Sony has had 3 years to deal with launch issues.
I am very happy with my experience with the PS3. It has a solid catalog of games and I love the wireless capabilities. When I play our PS2, the wired controllers seem so clunky. The PlayStation store is easy to navigate and to my joy, I just discovered that Best Buy carries the PlayStation Network cards.
Overall, the system is quiet and needs very little maintenance. The newer 80 gig systems only have 2 USB ports and no media card slots. This is fine with me because I have only needed more than 2 USB ports while playing Rock Band (Rock Band 2 has additional USB ports on the instrument "fob" and I have a 4 port USB hub that I can use to actually give me 5 ports.) As for the lack of media card slots...I couldn't care less. We use our PS3 for games and movies (a little Internet surfing) so I would never miss them and would be thankful not to have to dust in there anymore.
The new 80 gig systems are not backward compatible with PS2 games, but that is what the PS2 is for so that is no big loss to me either.
As for the additional media. My boys and I love Little Big Planet. Playing through the levels was a blast and additional players can join you. In some areas you need a friend to help you get through the special area and collect the prizes. Creating our own levels using many of the same tools as the game designers is our current obsession. As you play through the game, you collect tools and decorations to use in the level creator. You can then post your level online so others can play them. I never saw Wall-E, but my youngest son did and he enjoyed it. I'm not sure if we'll keep it, we may be able to sell it on Ebay or something.
So I think that for the money, the PS3 is the way to go: Great game console, Blu Ray player and two great titles thrown into the mix.

What's not so great: nothing
Beast this system is just simply great. I have no regrets on getting the ps3. I love it and since it comes with a free game and a movie why not. I love little big planet who cares if its for kids, I'm 18 and I play it sometimes when I'm sick and not out.

What's great about it: It's quieter than an xbox 360 and doesn't RROD,1080p HD
What's not so great: The one in a 100 billion chance of a YLOD
I have had ps3 since April 2007, retailed at $600... I only had a ylod because the blu-ray diode broke. I got a new(used) ps3 in 2 days flat from sony. I hear xbox'ers have to wait months!! Anyways, the system now runs smoother than ever and I have a 500 gig hdd. I can put all the games I ever downloaded and still have room for more. As for little big planet and wall-e, those titles are excellent. I'm 28 and see no reason why everyone upto 60 can't play this game or watch this movie! There is a reason sony bundled these two titles wit this ps3. These are the best selling titles on the blu-ray format.
As for other features, PS Home,PSN store, video chat,in game text chat, and soon to be cross game video chat!! the ps3 can't be beat. Xbox 360 has a yearly fee to do what the ps3 does for free (of course isp costs duh) I love ps3's I had xb360's and just got fed up with the roaring fans, my ps3, if i didn't have it on a table, I wouldn't even know the thin was on its that quite. I do seriously want everyone to get this bundle you won't regret it. Also get more dual shock 3 controllers, I'm sure neighbors will be clammering to join you!! My best piece of advice is get a 500 gig laptop hard drive have the best buy geeks install it and you'll be set for a long time.
I recommend this to anyone that has a hdtv, get a ps3 today!!
