What's great about it: Easy Set Up, Sounds Great.
What's not so great: Nothing
I was very skeptical of purchasing this product as many of the reviews have pointed out problems with durability. I have had this product for about 10 months and it works absolutely amazing. I use it to have speakers outside in my pool house while having the receiver and another set of speakers on my porch, works great sound quality is surprisingly great. I've always been a little hesitant to purchase off brands like Rocketfish and Dynex, but after great luck with my Dynex TV and this product exceeding my expectations, I feel better purchasing Best Buy Brands.

What's great about it: Easy to set up
Easy to hook-up to tv, but wires included aren't long enough if hooking up to an old-time big screen tv. We set it on top of tv & had to hook into tv all the way at the bottom, so had to make another trip to the store for longer wires. Be sure to check before purchase. Works great with wireless speakers if you don't want to install a whole system.

What's great about it: Sound Quality, multiple pairs of speaker setup
What's not so great: Not a very durable product
This product worked good for eight months, now the receiver no longer receives the signal. This is my 2nd kit, the first died after about 4 months. The first kit was a refurbished unit so I just figured that's why it was short lived. This last kit was brand new, so I didn't expect any thing go wrong with it so soon. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this kit, its just not a durable product. The Soundcast SCS100 is the most favored product of this type and is less expensive depending on where you get it.

What's great about it: worked well, easy to set up
What's not so great: stopped working within the first year
the system was easy to set up and worked well with my stereo system. The transmitter stopped transmitting before the first year was up. I was forced to buy a second unit for lack of a better option.

What's great about it: Permits whole house sound
What's not so great: Radio performance is poor
If the wireless radio in this system would work near my home entertainment system it would be great. Unfortunately I had to run a cable from my AVR about 6 feet away before the receivers would pick up the signal

We bought this because we were tired of looking at the rear speaker wires & were excited about the wireless option. Worked good for about 6 months. Then it started cutting in & out. Didn’t do it all the time so it was ok. The receiver was only about 12 feet away & in direct vision so there really shouldn't have been any interference. There wasn't any other electrical equipment nearby either. It was sporadic so we had no idea what was causing it. Then it went out completely. Wired the speakers directly & they worked fine. Reset the receiver = nothing. Called the customer service line & discovered we were 3 days past the one year warranty. Would they help? No. Would they discount a new system? No. Could they do ANYTHING? No. Our request for replacement/repair supposedly went to an "upper authority" for review & was given 7 business days for a response. 2 days later the response was, sorry - can't help you. Didn’t offer to fix ours or even look at it & say it will cost you $50 to fix. So now we are $200.00 in the hole for an unusable product. I don't advise buying.....unless you have a couple hundred $$ to toss in the toilet.

What's not so great: Had to drive out of town to get it because all of the BB stores were sold out of the product.
Great option for us. We were unable to run wires to the back of our living room since we have wood floors and rooms directly upstairs. This was the best option for us. The system works perfect with our Denon & Harmon Kardon speakers. We were worried about interference, but have not experenced any problems. Sound quality is great. Highly recommend.

What's great about it: good range, good sound, EASY set up
What's not so great: receiver should have line-in
I was afraid that it was going to be tricky to get this thing to work. Couldnt have been easier. Literally just plugged it in and it worked like a charm. The broadcast unit is upstairs on the other side of the house from the receiver (much farther that the recommeded range btw) At first whenever someone walked in front it would cut out, so we moved it a little bit and no more problems. This was a Christmas gift for my wife and now we have nice sound in the new kitchen / dining room addition. We just run Rhapsody on the computer upstairs and easily listen to anything we want. One thing that would be nice is if the receiver unit had a line-in, so you could just run it directly from a local source.

What's great about it: Sound
What's not so great: Price
This is the second set I have purchased.
When I bought the first set for my home theater, my expectations were low. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
It powers my surround speakers with ambiance and realistic reproduction of sound effects such as helicoptor rotors.
Particularaly impressive is the HD option designed for Blue Ray.
The second unit is being used in another room, mainly for music. Again, it powers the surround speakers as effectively as direct wiring.

What's great about it: Does what it says, good sound quality, no problems after set-up
What's not so great: Bit of lag, so-so instructions
I'm using this setup to send the signal from my receiver to the rear speakers in my 5.1 system. The sending unit sits on my TV stand next to the stereo receiver. The wireless receiver sits about 50 ft back on top of a 7 ft tall bookcase with clear line-of-sight to the sending unit (not sure if that is important or not).
I found the instructions to be poorly written in that they assumed I knew way more about home audio than I do (a trait I find with so many audio components). However, there are only so many buttons to push and I eventually figured it out. I do wish that Rocketfish would have included some slightly longer and better quality wire for the connections given the cost of the unit, but I made do with what came in the box.
As for the audio, I did notice a slight lag in the rear speakers when I first set it up. This was especially noticeable when watching movies where the soundtrack was piped both to the front and rear speakers. However, after I ran the Audyssey set-up through my stereo receiver, it was able to compensate accordingly and now all the noise hits my ear at exactly the right moment. I'm not sure if/how others would adjust out this lag in their system if the stereo receiver didn't have Audyssey or similar, but I will caution that it's needed. This is my only knock against the unit, which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 5.
As for the sound quality, I really have no complaints. My front satellite speakers are the same brand and model as my rears, so I set up a little experiment where I played a song through the front speakers first and then through the rears. As expected, the sound quality on the fronts was better, but only marginally. I also played with setting the volume on the unit to max and found that it caused no distortion until VERY extreme volumes, so to simplify everything I left the unit at full volume when I ran the Audyssey setup and have not touched it since.
Now that everything's set up, I LOVE my sound system. I have not had a single issue with clipping or cutting out from the rears and they add so much to the experience of watching TV.
Rocketfish may have other options (e.g. RF-WHTIB) that would have done the job just as well, but this was on one heck of a sale. In addition, I can add on to this setup as I expand my sound system in the future, so hopefully I will save money in the long run.

What's great about it: easy to set up
I didnt want to run wires through my ceiling so i chose this product. It works great and sounds good too. The transmitter is behind a wall and works perfectly with the receiver in the TV room.
If you have the option of running the wire, obviously save yourself some money. But for my setup, it works great.

What's great about it: Clear and Accurate, some wiring needed, especially if using wall mounted speakers
What's not so great: Price, still debating, $200 for Starter Kit & $100 for 2nd Reciever (Plus $40 for 2YR protection)
I first bouth the $200 Starter Kit. I wansn't yet sure how well it would work. But I hooked it up and it sounded great. Used with my Denon receiver and Def Tech speakers. There was no lag or connection trouble. I even have my wirelss router within 3 feet of this unit and the reciever about 20 feet away - no interference. (I moved by router to my entertainment unit to hard wire my PS3 & XBOX 360 - ran my own cat5 for my computer). I was going to use just 5.1 of my 7.1 reciever, but I was impressed I decided to pick up a 2nd reciever. I have both recievers together (the remote will control both at the same time - and only works for recievers and not the sender). I didn't follow the directions to a "T". I synced up one unit for both Surround Back speakers and the second unit for botht he Surround speakers. The instructions say to install both right speakers on one unit and both left speakers on the other unit, but after looking at the product, it will send whatever you hook it up to - so just keep track or label the wires.

What's great about it: Works
What's not so great: $300 for aesthetics
I bought this system to create a wireless rear system for my hone theatre. The starter has the transmitter and one receiver. I had to buy another receiver to get one for the left rear and one for the right rear. It ran about $300.
Works great and was a great solution. The transmitter is connected to the right and left outputs on the AV receiver (Yamaha) and broadcasts to each receiver. I have one for the right and one for the left. Systems is a Yamaha and Klipsch home theatre with a 10" sub. All connected to a Sony Blue Ray and 46" XBR TV. Works great and solved my problem, and doesn't interfere too much with room asthetics. Sound really adds to the experience especially when playing bluerays, great DTS, 5.1, & Dolby Dig. Took about an hour or two to get setup and running. If you need a wireless solution try this.

What's great about it: Works as advertised and eliminates the often tough-to-solve front-to-rear wire issue.
What's not so great: Man, a 100W amplifier and adjustable RF signal booster would rock (and probably shut up a lot of the whiners...naw).
This is a good product.
First: If you have the ability to wire your system front-to-rear, then do it. You cannot beat hard-wired systems.
Second (but with that in mind): don't expect a wireless system to perform exactly like a wired system. That is true for phones, cell phones, internet, etc. Why would you think that speakers would be any different and magically break through any pre-existing RF issues?? So, know what you are buying, folks. Also, these are not wireless speakers!! This is a kit to remove the "front-to-rear" wiring. Period.
NOW, that being said...Wiring was not realistic in my house (without great expense and possibly exposed wires to drive the wife crazy). Our main system is in a living room with a 20ft ceiling that extends over an open rear kitchen. Directly above the entertainment center is a balcony for a second floor great room with solid structural support columns. I mention this because there was no easy solution for running wires up walls, through the attic, etc. Oh, and it is a cement slab...no crawl space or basement. SO, this was a perfect solution on the surface, and so far it is working great!! I had my concerns and did a lot of research, but in the end I just bought them and counted on the 30-day return if it didn't work out. Concerns: Delay and power output. Results: Slight delay was noticed upon initial set-up via receiver settings. The power output of 48W per channel was plenty to power the speakers. I do not even need the "max volume" setting on the receiver mentioned by other reviews (set about mid-volume on both rocketfish receiver and main system amplifier/receiver). The remote and standby were certainly improvements over the original. I do not own the original, but read a lot about it looking for this one. For comparison if you need it (no one else says WHAT they have when writing a review, so I had no idea what to expect with MY speakers): Receiver - Sony STR-DB930ES, Bose 901 Front, Bose 4.2 Series II rear as part of my 5.1 system. The Bose 4.2's are 10W-150W, so I was concerned that the 25W original and 48W RBKIT products would not really produce much volume, etc. NOT SO. The 4.2s sound great. In fact, I had to dial down the volume because the initial sound coming from the rears speakers was distracting. I have since tested surround movies, surround music, classical, rock, jazz, instrumentals and hip-hop. All sound great and fill the room. Again, a little effort adjusting speaker distance/height settings and volume will result in a nice solution. IF YOU CANNOT WIRE your speakers, this product WILL WORK for you. At least, that is my experience.

What's great about it: Reduce cabling
What's not so great: Still have some wiring to consider
Yes, you will have to connect the rear speakers to it but it does make it a lot easier for sending the signals out. So far no interference from anything but your mileage may vary. But not having to be worried about hiding speaker wire cables made it a lot cleaner.
