What's great about it: Ease of assembly
What's not so great: Naugahyde, Cracks quickly, Shoddy workmanship, Cheaply made, Overly expensive for the quality.
I purchased this chair about 5 months ago to replace a 4 year old chair which had finally decided to die.
Initially, the chair was great, though the "leather" seemed a bit stiff. Living in Raleigh, the air is humid, but the "leather..."
You know what, let's call it what it REALLY is, Naugahyde.
Anyhow, the Naugahyde started cracking and falling apart after 3 months. I noticed the armrests at first cause I started getting scratches on my arms. Then when I looked, I saw the Naugahyde had split on the edging, revealing the woven backing and the ultra-thin pvc coating which served as the "leather".
You know what, let's call it what it REALLY is, Naugahyde.
Anyhow, the Naugahyde started cracking and falling apart after 3 months. I noticed the armrests at first cause I started getting scratches on my arms. Then when I looked, I saw the Naugahyde had split on the edging, revealing the woven backing and the ultra-thin pvc coating which served as the "leather".
A week later, three more splits appeared. This time on the other armrest.
A few days after that, I scratched my leg, and noticed a huge split on the edge of the seat.
Being 3-5 months from purchase, there's really nothing I can do.
It's a $200 piece of cheaply made materials.
There's no "premium leather" to speak of. Heck, there's not even "leather" on this chair.
BUYER BEWARE!! STAY AWAY!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to put together at a great price !
What's not so great: No complaints.
I looked around for the right chair for my computer desk and after all the reasearch this was the right chair . The real leather and comfort i now enjoy sitting behind my deck at my computer for hours .
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: comfortable
What's not so great: assembly.
I was eagerly looking forward to using this chair that I ordered via the web. I received it with the assembly bracket that holds the right arm- rest stripped where the screws goes in. I returned it for a full refund and found a superior chair in stock at Staples. Maybe just a case of my bad luck, it didn't work for me. I still would deal with Best Buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Comfort, ease of assembly, value for the money
What's not so great: Not very maneuverable on carpet, only available online
Call me old-fashioned, but I believe this type of product at this price point should always be sampled before purchasing. After all, how else can anyone be certain of its build quality, comfort, etc? Needless to say, I was hesitant to pull the trigger knowing it was only available online. Now that I've had the chair for about a month, however, I can say that all my fears have been allayed. The chair is wider than it looks, meaning it can easily accommodate taller and wider folks. The seatback height is sufficient, providing a headrest at just the right spot on my neck. I'm no craftsman, but the quality of the leather seems rather good given the price. Thankfully, the chair has a recline feature that allows you to lean back significantly (a big relief for those with poor posture or a bad back).
In closing, don't be deterred by the fact that you cannot see this chair in person or sit in it in any Best Buy stores. You won't regret it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Wicked Comfy
I bought this chair to go in our home office. I am going to be spending a lot of time studying for school so I needed a comfy chair. This chair is awesome!! It was super easy to put together, my husband did it in about 15 minutes. Worth the money!
I would recommend this to a friend!
