What's great about it: The sale price and instant HD
What's not so great: The price, if not on sale.
I gambled on this one and glad I bought it. I would NOT have bought this one unless it was on sale, because I was not going to pay $90 for a high def antenna. I had an Antennas Direct model and would not pull our local NBC channels in, so it will be heading back to BB tomorrow. I went with TERK because of the amplifier. This one had enough juice to get to the NBC tower and since our tv in on the bottom floor and our big window faces the wrong direction of where the tower is located. This model that has the AMP built in now gives us our NBC channels and 18 others. We have a total of 20 channels are very pleased with the picture quality. Buy it on sale or buy the model below this model. No need to break the bank. Hope this helps.

What's great about it: The set-up, the size, durabality.
What's not so great: The reception.
For $90 I was not expecting to receive a Fios or Cable reception, but I was not expecting to have to adjust the unit as often as I have. If a car or truck goes by the window, there is a bad disruption in the signal or not picture at all. I have to reposition the unit numerous times during the course of a program. Most of the channels have the same result. This should be a $50 unit max.

What's great about it: Easy to install and clear channels
So i went to the best buy store after reading the reviews by a lot of people saying it was the worst ever. I would have to disagree. I live in Claymont, DE and I get 29 Digital Channels and 1 Analog Channel. The pictures are crystal clear and it cuts out maybe three times an hour for less than a second. Fortunately, I went to buy this and it was on sale for 59.99. I am most likely going to go back tonight to purchase another one. So much cheaper than cable and I only really watch local channels live anyway and watch Netflix, Hulu, and HBOGo the rest of the time.

What's great about it: Slim, flat profile, Omni directional
What's not so great: Expensive, Comparable performance to other low cost HD antennas
This is a nice looking or in other words it has a great WAF being non-intruding to your room decor as it can lay flat or vertical. However, the performance is average or comparable to any entry level / low cost HD antennas which comes at hefty price. The most annoying thing was that though it's an omni directional antenna, it was kind of difficult to find a good spot to get most of the channels and then it was always difficult to get some of the channels below ch 7. Also, thick clouds and high-winds seem to affect it's performance and channels that worked on a previous day, suddenly became weak due to high-wind. If high price and comparable performance to an entry level HD antenna doesn't bother you then go for it!

What's great about it: Easy to assemble
What's not so great: The reception
Value: Not worth the price because the Reception was not good in my area.
Reception: The channels would drop often even with the amplifier.
Ease of assembly: Extremely easy to assemble. It's too bad that the reception was so bad.
Durability: I gave it one star because I couldn't give it anything more as we returned it immediately upon seeing how bad the reception was.

What's great about it: Clear reception for the channels it does get
What's not so great: Doesn't get all the major channels
I guess because I'm surrounded by townhouses the signal quality is pretty weak. However, the channels that do come in are crystal clear and the design of the antenna makes is easy to hide behind the couch and point directly out the window so my kids don't mess with it. It was worth it to me to cut cable and still get local football games and national news.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, great reception, looks great
What's not so great: very pricey for this type of product
After dropping U-Verse, I needed a solution that would give me the local channels plus a few more. I live in the DFW metroplex approximately 35 miles from where the antennas are located. With this unit I can pick up the same channels with the same (if not better) clarity as my friend does who lives roughly 10 miles from the antennas. The setup was very simple (just set it down and plug it in). Overall I am very satisfied, especially since I don't have those stupid rabbit ears sticking up anywhere.

What's great about it: reception
What's not so great: you have to move it for different channels
We needed a replacement for cable and for the money this is a good option. You have to move the receiver for maximum reception for diffiernt channels. The picture quality is excellent and we were surprised at the number of on air channels.

What's great about it: Full 1080P HD, great reception
What's not so great: Nothing
I am cancelling cable and picked up this antenna to hopefully get 2 network channels my neighbor was getting on bunny ears. I get all 4 major networks on it, with a total of 24 full 1080P HD channels, compared to the 8 my neighbor gets with those bunny ears.
If you know you live close to the source of a lot of signals, you can get the same antenna without the signal booster for less money and taking the booster out of the loop may actually improve overall reception. At first we got a little garbling on some channels but tweaking its position in the living room fixed that.
The reviewer who has a 9-10 second lag in changing channels has a problem with his TV. Nothing about this antenna changes when you change your channel, that's all the TV's inner workings.

What's great about it: excellent tv reception
What's not so great: BUT the delay in changing from station to station is not acceptable.
what i've experienced so far, a good product, excellent reception once i found the right spot for it. HOWEVER, there is a delay of 9-10 seconds when changing channels. not good.
i don't know if it's good value for the price. and i don't know how durable it is.

What's great about it: Simply use and forget.... auto adjust for signal strength is awesome.
This is the best thing for those who wish not to have cable. It automatically adjust for signal strength... (not like the bunny ears of days gone past). Save from paying cable cost and use this. Highly recommended.

What's great about it: Not MUCH, it did not work!!
What's not so great: Doesn't work for outdoor use
I purchased this antenna to work with one of three tv's at the 49er football game. It could not pick up three local channels that had the various football games on.
Luckily we had a coax Y connector and enough coax to run off the people next o us. WHY it does not work is beyond me.
I would not suggest this product.

The reception was great... for the one channel this thing picked up. At least with my 5+ year old pair of rabbit ears (that I spent less than $10 on) I can get the dozen or so channels in the area with a little work. No amount of work could get me more than the one channel with this gem.
Just terrible

What's great about it: Easy to hook up, compact. Sleek looking
What's not so great: Does not work well in fringe area
This antenna did not work for me. I live in an apartment that does not have a roof antenna. I got tired of paying high prices for cable and satellite (with nothing of value to watch) so I wanted to try an over the air antenna. This may work fine if you are closer to the transmission site, but I live about 60 miles away. I hooked it up, got a few channels well, the others pixilated or did not come in at all. I wasn't able to receive CBS (Channel 2 in Chicago). The unit looks great and is easy to hook up, but for someone that lives farther away from the transmission antenna, $80 is a little high to pay for just being able to watch only a channel or two clearly.
