What's great about it: Fairly nice appearance
What's not so great: The reception. That's kind of important with an antenna.
I got this antenna to replace a rabbit-ears-with-tuner that was in rough shape. This antenna had worse reception than the beat-up rabbit ears. It's probably an okay product, but I don't believe it's made for people who live in town where you have buildings, passing traffic, etc., that can impede reception in any way. Not only could I not pick up the usual channels without constantly moving it around, but there were some I could suddenly not get regardless of antenna position. It is likely only useful if you're in the country where signals can travel great distances without much interference. The good news is that Best Buy has a $15 RCA rabbit-ears-with-tuner that I replaced it with, and I can get ALL of my channels without moving it a bit.

What's great about it: The reception. I receive stations that I didn't get with another brand HD antenna.
This is an excellent antenna for the price. I have a couple of them as backup for my DirecTV.

Gotta keep moving it around, still not the best reception. A cheap $10 antenna is still stiff competition. Best left on the shelf.

Simple to install, it works and there is no reason for costly cable. Sunspots, storms, no problem. Omni-directional made the difference in my area.

What's great about it: easy to set up
What's not so great: everything else (it doesn't work)
I bought this pricier antenna because the best buy salesperson told me that I would need it. It could only pick up 4 channels, 3 of which were spanish, and one shopping channel. Oh and 2 of the 3 spanish channels were the same station... The ten dollar antennas work better. There is no reason why this antenna shouldn't pick up other channels that are being broadcasted from the same location as the spanish channels I get. I live in a major city, upstairs, and the antenna is right by the window on a glass surface. This product appears to be hit and miss. I will say that the 4 channels I get look amazing, to bad spanish TV sucks...

What's great about it: easily returnable, easy to set up
What's not so great: less than expected reception
I originally bought this unit to help me receive local channels when I got rid of my satellite service. To my surprise, it only picked up 2-3 channels (only 1 major network). Very disappointed, I returned it for a different unit 1/6 the price, and it picked up 5-6 local channels (2 major networks) so I kept that one. For this price point, not much bang for the buck.

I just wanted to just try a hi def antenna so that I wouldn't have to pay for cable or dish. It was a simple hookup: just connected the cable that was attached to the antenna, to the TV. The TV did a search for channels when I turned it on. It found 28 channels with the antenna sitting on the floor in our one-story house!! The hi def channels came in SUPER hi def. The other non hi def channels came in normal.
I was extremely satisfied with this antenna!! I got all the major networks, and don't have to pay a monthly subscription to cable or dish!

What's great about it: not much--the sleek design looks OK
What's not so great: reception--the reason we b it!
For the high price, this should perform MUCH better. This was a case of allowing the Best Buy salesman to pressure me into buying what I didn't want in the first place. We wanted to replace old-fashioned antenna (the kind with rods that stick straight out, "rabbit ears"?) with a new antenna. The sleek design looks fancy, but honestly, sometimes I really miss the old one--I think it worked better!

What's great about it: Easy set up and does seem to work rather fine.
What's not so great: Some channels require you move the box to another location
The price of the unit was scary. Actually more than I wanted to pay. But after seeing how easy it was to set up and the clearity of the channels I felt that it was a good deal. Especially after smiling at the savings.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this after some of the reviews. I'm assuming the main problem would be your location, as the product works great in my house. It picks up the channels clearly and is never fuzzy. Very easy to set up.

What's great about it: Easy to set up
What's not so great: Reception easily interrupted
This product is very simple - connect it to your TV and you're ready to go. Occasionally signal can get a bit fuzzy, especially if you happen to walk in front of the digital antenna at any time. If you manage to put the antenna up high, however, you should get several dozen channels consistently (depending on your area). Given that it's a one-time investment instead of paying monthly for cable, I'm very happy with my purchase.

What's not so great: Nothing
I purchased two Terk HDTV antennas within the last year and both perform very well. The units are located in two different states; one near a large metropolitan city and one in a outlaying area of a small city. I get over 15 channels with clear to crystal clear reception. One TV is a 2007 26" Insignia LCD and the other a 2011 42" Panasonic plasma. Great value for the money!

What's great about it: Nothing.
What's not so great: It doesn't recieve a single TV station from as close as 25 miles away.
I live 25 miles away from the downtown Chicago TV towers and this antenna would not pick up a single station. There’s no tall buildings between here and there, the ground is relatively flat, and this thing would not pick up a single station. To put things in perspective, when TV was an analog broadcast, I could receive Chicago’s WGN, and a Chicago PBS station, from the Quad Cities, 170 miles away using an indoor set of “Rabbit Ears”. If you live close enough to a broadcast tower that you can see it outside a window near your TV, then this thing might work for you. But I would not recommend it to anyone. I took it back to Best Buy.
