What's great about it: hookups, usb adapter, quality of mic and speakers
What's not so great: flimsy
i got these for the pc and i really like them, the mic is clear, and the sound is good, but the mic mute switch only lowers the vol, it still has some sound coming through. with the usb adapter these work on my ps3 as well!

What's great about it: design and adjustability
What's not so great: longevity and their customer support
Used the headphones for 6 weeks, left the country for 4 months leaving these behind, came back and the mute button has broke. It lowers the volume but doesnt mute entirely so people were hearing noises I was making. That's pretty absurd. What's actually more absurd is their customer support made me run it through some tests of trying without the usb dongle. Since I was calling via GoogleVoice, i had to hang up and try it out. Called back and someone else picked up having me try another test by using another computer. Being the 2nd call, I asked what else they have so im not calling back running test on a broken product. Microsoft has a "No Questions Asked" policy and while I can understand them asking me to run basic tests, the 2nd call should have been it. Ridiculous.

What's great about it: light, easy to use
What's not so great: noise cancellation, packaging messages
just bought this and initial test shows that the packaging messages are incorrect. I am using Mac OS 10.6, and the packets that come with the product show I should only be able to use the USB adapter. Quite the opposite.
1. Make sure you have a 3.5mm jack connection for your mic and speakers! If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to use this. the USB adapter doesn't work.
Packaging shows "Noise-canceling microphone." Obviously this product isn't the best-of-the-best. It's not the most expensive. So, most will buy not expecting the best. But, I expect the product to do what the package/product message says.
2. Noise-Cancelling microphone does not work! I recorded tests and I was able to hear things being dropped, and my cats in the background from the other side of a 10x10 room.
I recommend for personal use -sure.... Not for business.

What's great about it: Easy to wear. Comfortable.
What's not so great: Durability, Falls apart, stretches out losing sound quality
For years I used the logitech behind the head headset with the different colored disks. (Current price 20 dollars online.) I switched to this headset over a year ago. This is my second one of this same headset. Both headsets were treated very gingerly and both have fallen apart. I am a gamer and use the headset for several hours daily. The headset is comfortable and sound quality isn't bad. After the first few weeks the headset Stretches out and loses tauntness (Even on its tightest setting.) This results in a loss of sound quality and sound level.
In the same time period the red rubber parts come unglued and start flapping around. Also the construction is terrible compared to other logitech products. Logitech products are usually durable, this headset is awful. The glue issue with the red rubber sections has caused the headset to come apart into two pieces held together only by the wire. (Which is exactly what happened to the first headset.) I have the headset duct taped together until it can be returned AGAIN. Note: The two sides of the headset are connected only by the glue that holds the red rubber to the black plastic.. the wires rest sandwiched between those two. The moment the glue fails the whole thing falls apart.
I would not ever recommend this headset. For gaming, chatting, or otherwise you'd be better with the 20 dollar version rather than the "gaming" version.

What's great about it: Quality sound
What's not so great: Uncomfortable
I've been using these about a month, and after prolonged use (during internet gaming), they hurt my ears, which stinks since I'm usually wearing them for 2-3 hours at a time at the very least. After about an hour, it's like my ears have been crushed to the sides of my head.
The sound quality is good... but, I don't think I'd be purchasing these again should the need arise.

My husband bought me this headset about 6 or 8 months ago and if worked fine till this morning. I went to put them on and the expander refused to work and the left side snapped off! The only thing holding the left side to headset is the wire within the channel of the sidepiece.
Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Don't think I'll get these again!

What's great about it: Great price, comfortable,
What's not so great: Not the most amazing sound quality but pretty darn awesome for 50$
For 50$ these are the best head sets you can get. They work great and I never had a problem with them! They sound awesome, The cord is nice and long, and they are very comfortable especially if you don't like over the head headsets which is the case with my self. I find that after wearing other head sets they start to hurt after a while, these i never have that problem! These head sets are a great buy!

What's great about it: Tough, durable
What's not so great: Mediocre sound quality
I've got 3 pairs of these, one at work I've had for a year with a fair bit of air travel, and I just got 2 more for gaming at home as they were super cheap on sale. These headphones are incredibly tough. I've had the gambit from cheapo things to some fantastic sounding Sennheisers which are all now broken mostly due to small children. These are holding up incredibly well. Practically the 2nd day at home the super long cord got pulled into vacuum cleaner and wrenched out of the computer bending the USB connector 90 degrees. Still works like new.
The sound is mediocre compared to more expensive, over-the-ear headphones, but the quality really isn't bad considering the style and size. These head phones are much more utilitarian; perfect for gaming, stuffing in a backpack, and occasionally getting caught on a chair or even a vacuum cleaner, but I wouldn't push my luck!

The headphones work excellent. I've been using them with Google voice and others have complimented the clarity of the sound on their end. The headphones sound good. The only drawback is that the over the ear design gets painful after a half an hour or more of use.

What's great about it: styled for comfort for big headed people, high quality mic,
What's not so great: price>play back sound quality
I've been gaming caling and playing music on these for a coupl of years. There ok for music excellent for comfort (I've got a HUGE head) and i've always been told that the mic sound excellent. my problem is the price to sound quality factor, but then i bought these for the fact that it had a mic and they are very very comfortable. you might be happier with a better sounding headset and an external mic, but these head phones are a really nice package and don't sound bad, just not as clear or responsive as i'd have liked. I now run the G35 headset and with the very recent software update you can't beat them for the price. still the g330 head phones are not a bad deal just not great.

What's great about it: Great Price, Stylish, Multiple Connections, Long cable, Mute & Volume rockers, Adjustable Microhone.
This is a great headset, not terribly expensive, made by a name brand manufacturer, it has great functionality and is not only comfortable but stylish too. The G330 was a well thought out headset and I have yet to run into any issues. I only gave it a 4/5 on durability because it seems that if you are not gentle with your belongings you could break it, however, I would not call it fragile.

What's great about it: Sound quality. Light. Comfort.
I mostly listen to vocals and classicals. My previous Koss Portapro made me enjoy music that would sound lifeless otherwise. It was able to reproduce the notes from every musical instrument.
Unfortunately I lost the Portapro on a bus. My wife suggested me to try a different model. The first one I tried was a Sennheiser HD 202. Poor sound. The high frequency notes were either absent or reproduced as noise. Plus, it produces headaches after 30min.
This G330 is much better. I again heard the notes produced by portapro. It is also very light, comfortable, flexible and durable.
I still miss my Portapro, but for the lower price and the addition of mic, I would highly recommend this G330 as well.

What's great about it: Tastes Great!! Less Filling!!
What's not so great: Wont do my laundry
Really good sound quality both incoming and outgoing.
Comfortable but will take time getting used to them.
Purchased solely to use with Skype as I am a telecommuter.
People I talk to on Skype say I sound much better than I was sounding on a very expensive Bluetooth Jawbone Headset.
Using USB Skype found new connection automatically. Completely plug-n-play.
Can't comment on 3.55mm connectors as my Dell only has a single speaker/mic connector.
Inline audio box adds slight bit of drag on the headset but not too bad.
Velcro cord wrap is a nice touch (little things do count to some).
Plenty of length to the cable. Cable is very flexible and has not gotten in way too much.

What's great about it: Quality of sound and microphone
What's not so great: Headphone wire vs vacuum is not optimal
I accidentally ran over my old pair with my vacuum...tore the cable in half. But the sound going in and out is fantastic. The mic doesn't do that annoying static thing that destroys your friends' ears. The sound coming from the headset is of a very high quality especially for the price.
If you're looking for something basic to talk on Skype or Ventrillo, go for these!
