What's great about it: Products can be art, can have a soul, flawlessly executed, exceeding all expectations. This is one of those products.
What's not so great: Nothing
If you are building a home recording studio GET THESE SPEAKERS! They are amazing. I've had mine for weeks and I am so impressed that I am taking the time to come back and write this review --and I don't do this a lot. Sound quality to construction… What you hear is what is on your recordings. Freq response is most impressive. Lower lows than you would think and the highs are not raspy like some tweets can be (They used soft dome tweeters. Smart choice) . Perfect near field monitors.
CAUTION on the size of these speakers. In the pictures they all look the same size, but they get progressively larger. I initially got the F6 and they were so big but sounded so good I didn't want to return them. Bottom line, I did have to return them for something that would fit better on my desk, and the F5 are just as amazing. I don't notice a few extra missing Hz on the low end. Very responsive, punchy, accurate sound reproduction speakers.

What's great about it: Looks, Price
What's not so great: Can handle loud music for long periods of time. Sound distorts as mid-high levels.
I recently bought these speakers for small house parties and DJ-ing as the 'music tech' said these speakers would be perfect for what i was doing. After about 30 minutes of playing, the speakers started to get overwhelmingly hot, and the sound started to become washed out (to the point where i had to turn off the speakers to let them cool down) After letting them sit for about 15-20 minutes i turned them back on, and they sounded great! but once again, as time passed, the same problem arose. I dont know if i got a defective set, or if tese speakers just aren't meant to be played loud..? I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who is trying to find an inexpensive set of DJ speakers...although im sure these would be good for home entertainment systems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Enhanced sweet spot, appropriate mid-range, punchy low-end
What's not so great: Not a completely flat frequency response
Great near-field monitors. Punchy low-end that isn't over emphasized. Crisp highs from a newly designed tweeter that gives you an enhanced sweet spot. Great mid-range frequencies that don't seem boosted at any particular range. Of course, these monitors are not completely flat response. However, if you're looking to add them to a system as a second or third pair, this is a GREAT choir. And the 5" speaker is a good option if you're already working with 8" or larger systems with subwoofers. For the price, you absolutely can't go wrong. Even if you're only using them as multi-media speakers for a computer, these kick butt. :)

Excellent sound for the price. Plenty of punch and accuracy for their size. Highly recommended to anyone looking for music editing or general music enjoyment. Sounds good with my movies as well.

These Speakers are fabulous for in home studio monitoring. They are self amplified and provide some of the most clear and precise sounds I've heard in a monitor that doesn't cost 600.00+ Also, they are perfect for mixing music and Jammin out on your MacBook when using Logic, or Pro Tools, or whatever your using! They had more power and more responsiveness than I was expecting, so Defintely a Best Buy for what they are intended for, which is music Production!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to use, good price, great sound quality, loud volume
What's not so great: Absolutely Nothing
I have tried many studio monitors, some with bigger woofers and more watts and these still outperformed them all. I use them to DJ They Are Absolutely awesome, one fell down 2 flights of stairs, barely had a scratch and still worked.
I would recommend this to a friend!
