I found out about the Sonos system via the App store when searching for the remote app for something else. The Sonos controller app is Excellent! Why buy this thing if you have an iPhone/Pad/Touch? The app does the same things. I can't recall if was free. I believe it was. (Re: the wireless system......LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I have 2 S5's and a bridge.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to set up and use
What's not so great: Heavy, small screen and often slow
Nice unit but the iPhone app works almost as well and it's free. The screen is small and sometimes takes too long to display album art for rapid use. Getting album art into the Sonos system is more cumbersome than just putting it into iTunes so be prepared for some leg work. Loading your system will take a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
