What's great about it: looks good, plays good
What's not so great: need your own speakers
The sound is really awesome, i just wish it came with speakers on its own. And the record to ipod recording is great as well but i think it would be alot better if you could actually play music from your Ipod on the record player. And if you can, someone tell me because i haven't figure it out haha

What's great about it: Ease
While I found that the ipod feature wasn't very friendly, I'll say that it's super easy to digitize vinly albums. I like that most of them were separated into the right tracks automatically, with very few requiring manual intervention. The quality was pretty good, and it was simple to attach the cable to my laptop USB port. I would definitely recommend this product!

What's great about it: Nice equipment, and excellent web site for service and support
What's not so great: Copying a record straight to the iPod is not really practical
When you transfer a record to your PC, sometimes more tracks will be displayed than were on the original, and you have to piece them together to get the titles correct. You have to look at the recorded times and compare to the times on the record lable or jacket (if they exist) to figure out what track goes with what song. Other than that, it works and I've transferred about 34 albums so far. Transferring directly from the record to the iPod, though, is not very good becasue you have no way of knowing what the album name is or the track titles - it's just recorded with the timestamp. Not too practical. Better to transfer to the PC, then to iTunes, then sync to the iPod. I had to download the latest version of the software for it to work well, but that's to be expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!
