Just like the Dual Shock 3 that came with your PS3 but in red.
Gotta love how Sony stuck with the same great Dual Shock design all these years.
I noticed you can see the red LEDs through the case of the controller unlike the black controller.

my last controller's analog wore out due to all the running in COD. But it lasted me two years so it wasn't too bad. But i believe it wore out due to improper caring for the controller. This controller will last much longer, gonna put more care into it, mainly cause it's red

What can you say about a PS3 dualshock controller? I get red or any other color besides black so that mine do not get mixed up with others.
I will say that I have had two controllers just stop working and after multiple hard resets still do not work. Whenever these go on sale I try to snatch one up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a good quality controller. No different from the original except Red. Color looks cool. Who cares about the small player indicator light showing through the plastic a bit. You don't look at the controller while you're playing so you'll hardly notice. Best part though....got it on sale for $35!!

Red is my favorite color, so this controller came to me like cake on a plate, and who doesn't love cake? The only tiny thing I wasn't really attracted to was the light of the "player 1, 2, 3, 4" going through the top of the controller. It's not a big deal but I think it could of been differently better to not let it go through. But this controller is amazing I wouldn't stop for a second anyways from buying it if you like the color and you are planning to buy it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: price
same basic controller as the one included with the game. works well and has excellent battery life. Kids like the different colors and it makes it easier to remember who's is who's when playing after a break. The cost seems high but the quality is worth it. Aftermarket controllers are generally not as good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the ps3 controller is not one of my favorites but i put up with it, the color is awsome, easy setup if your looking for a new controller get a colored one because they look cool thats it haha

What's not so great: Seems breakable compared to the original black dualshock.
I needed a new controller, so I bought this red one. I needed a different color so it can be different from my friend's controllers, and there won't be any need to label it.
My last controller was a dualshock 3 but the black one. It seemed much more durable than this red one for some reason. Also, my last controller had an analog stick sticking, and was too greasy from all those late nights and potato chips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This controller is designed exactly like the traditinal black controller that Sony makes. Obviously the only difference is the fact that its RED.
