What's great about it: Deep Deep base and ability to adjust it to suit your needs
What's not so great: Nothing
Got this at a great price and have not been disapointed. Deep base and adjustable to suit your individual taste. Had been looking at this for some time and couldnt pass it up at a recent store closing, Its fairly large but fits conveniently into the corner behind my flat panel TV stand. I recommend playing with the settings when you first get it. This will help you to tune to your own specifications.

What's great about it: Build quality and functionality
What's not so great: Floor directed speaker
When it comes to sub-woofers, size and power matter. This eight inch woofer produces great lows and would be perfect for apartments and small family or living rooms. However, if you want true surround sound excitement for larger spaces and or dedicated home theater rooms, the ten inch speaker size with more power output should be the minimum . Preferably, a twelve or even fifteen inch sized woofer for large spaces. For some a front mounted speaker rather than the floor directed one as in the Klipsch subwoofers will deliver the feeling of more punch with every car crash or explosion. The choice is up to the listener’s preference. If you really want your surround sound system to sound like you paid a lot, this sub-woofer will fill the bill.

I was a little hesitant to buy because of the price. But if its bass you want, this sub delivers more. Shook my house in a regular living room in open space!! With music or movies you will hear pounding bass. An excellent decision i made to buy this bass heavy component to my home theatre system. Spend the extra money if you have it!!!!

What's great about it: adjustable
This speaker is one of the best system upgrades I've done so far after the 3D TV. The whole house vibrates when something blows up now. That FX just never gets old.

What's great about it: Design, Great bass, volume control
I upgraded from a 15 year old 10'' klipsch sub. Noticed a difference immediately. Bass is much more present. I love the actual volume adjustment on the back. Design is absolutely stunning. A must have for any home theatre.

I purchased this subwoofer to complete my home theatre. It has been great, especially once you really get the settings fine tuned. My room is fairly small and this thing makes some big sound. It's great!
Then 1 year and 4 months go buy and it dies. Contacting customer support so far has been impossible. Granted, I'm only on day 2. I can't recommend this product to a friend. It has been the first home theatre electronic to die on me before anything better has even hit the shelves. First Klipsch product I've owned also. Upon checking their forums for help, I've learned that I am not alone. Not even close.
Buyer's beware.

What's great about it: Overall quality and sound
What's not so great: So far, nothing
Deep clear bass sound. No clipping and pure bass tone. You feel like you're in the theater.
To get the best overall sound, make sure to understand the controls on the back of the sub woofer and what they are capable of. The smallest adjustment can change your sound.
Overall, A perfect fit for my needs.

I was going to purchase a Sony subwoofer for $100 but heard this one and decided to spend the extra money for this one. It sounded much better and it was on sale! The bass sounds great and has plenty of power for my needs (movies & music). The only thing i do not like is that it doesn't shut off with my receiver when it is set on auto. Not sure if it my receiver or the subwoofer.

What's great about it: Hits very hard (sometimes too hard in my case lol)
What's not so great: Price is a little steep, but still worth it
I've had this sub for over a year now and it's great! Very powerful and gives exactly the right thump. I got the polk sub first because it was a little cheaper and the wattage was the same. I turned it all the way up and I could still barely feel the hits. Not being impressed I returned it and got this instead. I have to keep this at about 50% to keep my neighbors and my wife off my case. This is a must have for any home theater set up.
