What's great about it: It's NINTENDO!!
What's not so great: Not able to play old Gameboy games. No biggie though!
I purchased this unit for my 9-year-old daughter for her birthday. It was an upgrade to her Ds Lite. She loves the camera feature! It was easy to connect to our internet so she can search for downloadable games. Overall, excellent gaming system. The only drawback that I found is that she cannot play Gameboy Advanced games on it like she could with the Ds Lite.

I got it for my daughter olivia, she loves it!!! Great when we're on long road trips. I even find myself playing the super marios. Loved it as a kid and still do. Also the games are available everywhere. Its great that best buy also had used games. They have new lower prices so i dont have to shop around.

Kids can be a hand full sometimes. But i bought my daughter this DSi and she loves it and lets me do the things i need to do.

Daughter loves it. Color is very vibrant; pretty. Lots of educational games available for this system. Love the camera and microphone.

What's not so great: Doesn't support DS or DS lite games
I my opionion the price difference between the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS Lite, and the Nintendo DSi does not warrant the significant differences in the price. Also, my daughter already had a Nintendo DS and wanted to upgrade to the DSi because of the internet and photo taking functionality. Unfortunately, all the dozens of games she has for the DS do not function on the DSi. Therefore she isn't really enjoying it as much as we hoped she would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Bigger screens, thinner
What's not so great: ..They came out with a DSi XL
I never had a DS Lite, just the org DS. So I really wanted something more. The bigger screens and the fact that you can get on the internet like the Wii. I really enjoy the camera and the voice recorder more then I thought I would. Overall of what I can say, is that it's better then mine DS. And probably the DS Lite as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did not have one of these, but saw the Personal Trainer Walking....which I wanted. So I purchased the DSi ...it is fun to use...I am not into all the games, but like the health and fitness things that it offers...It is such a nice size..so easy to take along....and you can even go on the interne with it...It IS a bit pricy, but I bit the bullet and got it anyway and am glad that I did.....I see they do have some card games and number games that I may be getting...
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Attractive color, WiFi, Decent camera, Fun for kids and adults
What's not so great: Pricey, No memory card included
I purchased this product for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She wanted a digital camera for x-mas as well as a DS lite. I opt for the DSi because it had the best of both worlds and it has a built in Wifi. My daugther loves it and made me a hero for the Holidays. The only reason I didnt give it 5 star all the way down was I thought for the price it should have included the memory card. Other then that, a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far my daughter has really enjoyed her DSI. She is always sharing new features that she has discovered with me. I limit her usage of gaming electronics, so I doubt she'll tire of this one anytime soon! I highly recommend.

What's great about it: Screen is so clear, parental controls, camera (purchased sperate lense)
This DSi is amazing. My 6 year old daughter loves it. She wanted asked for a digital camera & I found this where you can purchase the 8x zoom camera lense too. Knock 2 birds out at the same time. She takes pictures with it & plays her games. I enjoy play it too.

What's great about it: My daughter and I can both us it and have fun
What's not so great: haven't found anything yet
Purchased for my daughter and she loves it. The battery last for a good amount of time which is great for long road trips. The web security is great and allows me to restrict what sites my daughter is able to view. The wireless features are great and easy to set up. The games and their resolutions are great.
The camera and voice fetures are great and allow me and my daughter to hours of fun.
This is a excellent buy
I would recommend this to a friend!
