What's great about it: Bluetooth and short cord for wired mode :)
What's not so great: Everything Else
I have owned the Razer Mamba mouse for like 2-3 years now and in corded mode It is starting to get a little buggie. That and the fact that the cord is so so so so long it is an eye sore... and to use it wirelessly I have to still use that cord and keep the receiver on the desk. The mouse it-slef is almost perfect but I am looking for something more wireless.
Bought the Razer Orochi yesturday... I know what you are thinking, not long enough to give a review but I have a lost of experience with mouses above the $75 price range from Logitech and Razor through out the years so I know what to expect from a mouse of the Caliber.
The good thing about the mouse was that it was Bluetooth... good bye cord and charger stand and even in corded mode the short mouse cord was very manageable. And it looks good as all Razer products do.
Now for the BAD...
1- Mouse Movement:
I have a Razer Destructor Mouse pad when I was using this mouse so let me say in advance that the Mamba Glides on this bad boy like you wouldn't believe, so smooth and quiet. People who use my mouse on this pad say now they understand the $130 price tag on the mouse. I Highly recommend that mouse pad.
Now the Orochi seems to make a slight dragging sound and you feel the resistance as you move it. I Flipped the mouse over to see if there was anything that could be causing it like a sticker I forgot to remove but not that simple. It looks to me that the mouse lazor bezel, because of the way you switch it on/off, sticks down as low as the mouses gliding pads and drags on the pad.
If you are the type of person to not use a pad which is not necessary for tracking for good mice like I do sometimes you will definitely put some swirls over time into your table with this mouse.
2- Mouse Size:
I know that Razor intended to make this a gypsy gamer's mouse which is who I am but did you have to make the mouse so small. Ok so you save a half inch of storage space compared to the Mamba at the cost of now dragging your hand when moving the mouse creating additional resistance and hand fatigue. This also adds to the next problem.
3- Side buttons:
The mouse has 4 additional buttons compared to a traditional mouse that can be programmed anyway you like which is Great!.. the problem is you can't click them while playing. The buttons on the left in order to click them I find I need to change my mouse grip which is awkward. The side buttons are small and and hard to locate while playing and require an unusual amount of effort to click them, I sometimes left click by accident because of the lack of palm support when trying to click those buttons. The right buttons (if you are right handed) are un-clickable no matter how you try to re-position your hand while using it. Bottom line the button placement isn't natural and you will not be able to make good use of them while playing any real-time game.
4- Not Rechargeable:
No lithium batter like with the Mamba and doesn't have the capability to recharge when in corded mode. Shame on you Razer for this one, you have the technology use it no one like to have to buy batteries or use a separate charger. Would gladly payed more of cost was a factor as I am sure others would to who perchance mice at these price ranges.
Conclusion:
Not a mouse for Playing real-time games. Will Return to store. Would love to see a Bluetooth Mamba even at the performance loss.

What's great about it: Versatile, precise and flexible
What's not so great: The cordless option and Bluetooth functionality
I have been extremely satisfied with the Razer Death Adder mouse which I've been using with my desktop for nearly 7 years. So when it came time to select a mousr for the Alienware M17X, choosing this mouse was a no brainer.
Like my Death Adder, this Orochi is built like a tank. The instructions are straight forward so updating the firmware and setting up/customizing the functions took less that 15 minutes.
I don't care about the Bluetooth -- in fact, the battery (which comes with the mouse) will likely never be unwrapped ... and I'll likely never use the mouse in cordless mode.
What I wanted was the best gaming mouse for my laptop and this is it.
Don't forget to also order the Razer Kabuto mouse pad too.

What's great about it: Great Tracking, Can also be used corded,Bluetooth
What's not so great: Feels cheap,Does not fit my hand the best ( i have bigger hands)
I purchased this mouse a few days ago because I wanted a bluetooth mouse. This mouse was to be used with my Macbook pro not just for gaming but just for everyday use. I will be comparing this mouse against the apple magic mouse and the Logitech Mx anywhere as those are some of the other portable mouses I have used.
To me this mouse feels a little cheap for the price. By cheap I mean the edges are ruff, feels light, the scroll feels weak. The mx anywhere and magic mouse just feel like a better built mouse in comparison. The tracking is the best thing about the Orochi mouse. It seems to be more accurate then the mx anywhere and a little better then the magic mouse. In corded mode I did not notice much difference in tracking or any performance gains. The only thing is that when in Bluetooth mode you can not customize the mouse in the system preferences. To me for the price of this mouse there are better mouses out there. I am not saying that the other two mouses I am comparing the Orochi to are better just that you might want to check them out before you commit to the Orochi if you plan on using the mouse for everyday use and not just gaming. If you using the mouse for just gaming I would say that the Orochi has it.

What's great about it: Portable, accurate, looks cool, razer brand.
What's not so great: takes a few seconds to work after windows loads no biggie.
This is my first time with a wiresless mouse, always lived by wired for accuracy and low maintenance. But since I bought a gaming lap the Asus G73sw from another site with better specs than the one BB sells I wanted something portable and easy to use without the hassle of wired. Chose this over the Mamba since I wanted something small yet with good reviews and longevity. So far so good, turning it on the first time the scroll wheel didnt light up but once you install the driver from Razer and enable the light under settings it works. Very impressive little mouse, accurate and light weight. You can only make changes to the settings in wired mode. So once you make your adjustments turn on bluetooth and game away. I liked the look and feel of the Mamba but didnt want a full size desktop mouse with my lap so I got this and happy I did, works great playing Bad Comp 2.

This is an awesome mouse, with the wake-up time and other so called problems, people need to learn to go into the settings and change them, poof no problems. If you are gaming on a laptop this is the best one for you. Before you write a review learn about the device please.

What's great about it: Design & Style
What's not so great: Doesn't come with a bluetooth dongle if your laptop isn't bluetooth native.
I just bought mine two days ago and have nothing but praise for the style and design of this mouse. It just oozes quality, from the killer packaging, to the way it lights up, this mouse is just awesome! It is very sensitive, has a great rubbery texture, and the software works like it should. I'm very happy with my purchase and have always loved Razer's designs.

What's great about it: high DPI and refresh rate, short cord, carrying case included, robust design
What's not so great: poor ergonomics, driver software is horribly implemented, wireless mode has a terrible problem
KP1920 nails almost everything in his review, but I will restate some stuff and talk about the software.
I've used my friend's portable mouse that was slightly larger than this and it was much more comfortable to hold. I would only consider this if you have average or small sized hands. Also note that the right-side buttons cannot be used for gaming and are really only for speed adjustment. The left-side buttons still are awkward to press.
In wireless mode this mouse goes to sleep after 3 seconds of not using it and upon wakeup it is very laggy for about a second. We are paying for a Bluetooth mouse, yet I would hate to have to use it that way even to just browse the internet.
The slightest bump of the table causes my computer to wake up from sleep (Vista SP1). I've tried everything to stop it but nothing works (except for tilting the mouse on its side.)
The driver software in theory lets you do everything you would want, but nothing works very well. For example, the button profiles don't auto-switch like they are supposed to and you are limited to 5 of them; the macro maker is buggy, and if you decide to update the driver or firmware make sure you manually back up your profiles and macros or you can kiss them goodbye. However, the driver updates have only fixed bugs, bugs that I have never encountered. The only radical change in drivers is that Macs now have full support.
2 stars may seem a little harsh but really all it would take is a good firmware update and more robust driver to make it much better, and it isn't like this is Razer's first attempt at making a mouse.

What's great about it: Design is awesome, good to use when wired mode
What's not so great: Delayed jerky movements when wireless mode, hard to grab
I don't like wireless mice to begin with. I was always looking for a mouse with style but wired, NOT wireless. I found out that there was a mouse you can use wired and wireless with style. Yes, it was this one.
When it's wired, it works flawlessly. But when it's wireless, this one is much worse than a 20-dollar wkreless mouse with no name. Whenever you type something, watch something, and then you try to move your mouse, you will have to face a jerky movement every single time. I thought this used to happen to wireless mice from early 2000. What a disappointment. Also, special mouse settings are not available when it's on wireless mode. It's for wired mode only.
Also, it's kinda hard to grab. The side part of this mouse is pretty stiff, where your thumb locates. If you sweat a lot, it gets worse.
If you prefer a wired mouse with an awesome design, I strongly recommend this one, but if you want to go for a wireless one, try looking for something else.
