What's great about it: Simple to use, no need to remove batteries to regard them
What's not so great: Battery life isn't as good as the Official Microsoft batteries.
I decided to pick this up after I noticed some hairline cracks near the battery compartment of my 4 controllers. After ordering replacement controller shells I decided to switch to the Nyko rechargeable batteries from the Microsoft ones. I'm assuming the repeated moving of them between the controllers and the quick charge kit caused the cracks. These definitely have a faster charge time, and the ease of just placing the entire controller into the dock is convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great price, charges fast, easy to setup

Basically, this charger comes with 2 batteries, which makes it better for the price. It charges pretty quickly. The design is pretty sleek. And the batteries last a long time. I havent had one die on my yet while playing games, and i play all night on weekends.
However there is one design flaw, sort of. For the battery to charge, there must be weight on it, aka it needs to be attached to a controller, so that the metal contacts touch the charger's contacts. And its not that big of a deal, except removing and installing my chatpad gets to be a pain in the rear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: So EASY to use!!!
What's not so great: NOTHING!!!
This charger comes with new battery packs for your controllers. You just take the original battery parts off and install the new ones. Then you just lay the controller on the base. So EASY!!! You don't have to worry about plugging anything in or making sure it's connected correctly. Just lay the controller down and it charges! No HASSLE!!!

In addition to the two controller charger it also comes with two rechargeable battery units to use in your controllers, which make this a great buy.
It is simple to use - you just set the controller on then unit when you are not playing and the controllers are fully charged next time you want to use them.

All i have to say is i love this charging dock. the rechargable batteries are included. the pop right into the back of the controller and slide the controller right into the dock. the batteries have metal slots on the back of the battery and thats how it recharges. not to mention when you slide the controller into the dock a indicator light shows you the life of the battery and it stops charging when it reaches the full charge. Like i said, its a great product and i love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This charger is a beast! It charges my controller to full in less than an hour and it has an auto shut-off feature so you don't kill the battery by overcharging. With that said if you have two controllers and your in the middle of a COD match and your controller starts going off and getting you killed in the process you can have a backup laying on the charge base to get back in and get your revenge! And to top it all off is the finish, if you have the new xbox slim this item looks sooo nice in company of each other.
P.s It has two batteries included just to clear that up :)

What's great about it: Fantastic product and a must have accessory for the Xbox 360.
What's not so great: Nothing. Well thought out product that delivers a lot of value.
Got this on sale for $20 which made is a fantastic buy. It is still a value at normal price because of the ease and simplicity of charging Xbox 360 controllers when not in use and the ongoing savings of batteries. The rechargeable batteries are very good and after about 3+ years of use I am going to replace my first set. My son, daughter, and myself each have one of these accessories. Only my son might play long enough in one sitting to exhaust a battery. Other than that, when I am done playing if the battery is 2 out of 4 bars, I just drop it on the charger and it is ready for use the next time I play.
The only quibble I have, and it is MINOR, is that it is unreliable to just charge the battery by itself (meaning not connected to a controller). It can be done, but the battery isn't heavy enough to stay on the charger consistently by itself. However, as I said....it is a very minor quibble and not worthy of removing even 1/2 a star. The only other thing I could mention is that they are black. So if you have black controllers, they match perfectly. If you have white, or special edition controllers they obviously will not match, but since the controller is sitting in your hands the only impact is cosmetic (not functional).
Excellent product and value for its normal price. When on sale it is a must buy.

Great product. Beats the heck of the out of regular batteries. Would have been nice to find a sales associate at Best Buy who did not abandon me the customer. Spent 4 hours trying to piece together this gaming system due to lack of help. The salesman who did help ran off for a phone call and never came back. Waited yet another hour before just grabbing stuff off the shelf hoping I was getting the right stuff. Kind of maddening when you spend $700.00 and cant find good help...

This is a great accessory for recharging your batteries. It looks nice and works fine.
The batteries seem to confuse the xbox controller or something because it constantly spins the lights to indicate that the battery is low but it continues working for another day or 2. Even the dashboard shows 2 bars.
The batteries won't charge by themselves. They aren't heavy enough. They have to be attached to a controller in order to press down and make contact with the leads.
I would recommend this to a friend!
