Simple phone for someone who can not hear.

What's great about it: simple, amplified sound
What's not so great: ringer not loud enough, have to reset the volume at every use.
Overall pretty good simple phone, but I did find a few problems. The incoming sound can be amplified but the ringer doesn't amplify enough. It does have visual light that comes on but if you're not in sight of the ringer it can not help. Also, the volume can not be set, you have to push the boost button and change the volume every time you use the phone. This can be irratating if you are a single person using the phone. It would be nice to set it and have it stay.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Good sound, loud ring
What's not so great: Too big- not slimline after all
Bought this for our new elevator but it was too big for the little telephone box. It is big and clunky but otherwise OK for a phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Volume control
What's not so great: nothing
I had two long interviews by phone. I had difficulty hearing on a regular phone, and this solved my problem. And it works great on regular calls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to hear for those with hearing problems.
What's not so great: Doesn't have memory for storing phone numbers.
a great phone but i wanted one that had memory to replace the one that I had that had it.

What's great about it: Well made. Good sound.
What's not so great: no complaints
I was having trouble understanding some callers, especially younger ladies who talked fast & had higher pitched voices. My last phone was a cheapie from corner drugstore. I had no idea there could be such a difference. Right out of the box I could tell this was built well. It could probably be dropped from a tree top without any damage. It adjusts easily without removing from ear. Sound is excellent. I like the letters/numbers (that are backlighted) in the handset instead of returning to the base to dial. I had no idea that Best Buy offered so many phone choices. The color is listed as white which is not really what I wanted. As it turns out "white" is actually more "bisque." Good choice for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: the flashing light to let me know its ringing
What's not so great: volume can't hear to well
My new phone is nice but i wish i could have a louder volume
