What's great about it: works well, small footprint, good price
What's not so great: speakers a little tinny
We got this as a replacement for a TV in the kitchen. The controls are easy, the picture is bright and clear. As is the case on a lot of these, the speakers are a little weak and tinny, as they are small due to the form factor.

It is a very good small set to keep in the bedroom or the office to catch the news. The bonus is that it has an integrated DVD player.

I purchased this TV in the month of January and by February the picture quality changed from good to poor! It looks like one of those fake cartoon pictures with extreme colors. At first, we could gently tap the TV for the picture quality to return to somewhat normal. Now, nothing works. I am extremely disappointed in this product. I do not recommend this TV at all. I wasted my $. I purchased this TV according to the good reviews, unfortunately, mine didn't live up to the reviews. Perhaps I got the "lemon" of the TVs.

What's great about it: Pretty good picture quality
What's not so great: In 1 years time, the dvd player has broken
So! I bought this for my 3 year old son. This has been wall mounted in his room. This was meant for him to watch his dvds for nap time. In just under a years time the DVD player doesnt work. It just keeps saying "no disc" no matter what i do. its extremely slow to change channels as well. You need a ton of patience for this product. i am very disappointed. I would NOT recommend a dvd combo to anyone.

You get what you pay for. It was on sale and I needed a TV for a spare room. The picture and sound are okay; but don't expect anything great even with HDMI. The TV is also really small. I knew when buying it that it would be small, but I should have went up a little in size. If you need to read anything on the screen, you are going to have to get really close. However, the TV is really simple to use and watching a DVD is simple as well.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, good price good features
What's not so great: Only negative comment : Audio not so good with built in speakers
I purchased this to replace an old analog TV that had a fairly good picture using an HDTV Converter, but the difference is remarkable. The video is crisp, colors are more dynamic and have greater contrast and of course the definition is outstanding compared with the old TV. I also purchased this because it also has several inputs, including an HDMI input. Picture quality and sound are outstanding on stills and videos on my Digital Camera. Also has an A/V connection which I use with an old VCR and picture quality is much better than before. The only drawback is that the audio is a bit tinny using the built in speakers, but there is an output, which I have connected to my stereo audio amplifier and speakers and the audio is outstanding, especially when using headphones, you also get an increase in the "surround sound" .

I have bought 2 of these tv's. I bought one for my mom for christmas and then a few months later, I bought one for myself. It's a great tv for the price. Beautiful picture and lot's of features. I love the attached dvd player, so easy to use.

What's not so great: kids can put 2 cds in it and can be a pain. Gets jammed up

What's great about it: Combination of TV and DVD player
This television was purchased for my teenage daughter who loves to watch DVDs when she's not watching live television. The picture quality was excellent (780p) and the DVD player works like a champ. Other reviews about the sound quality were unfounded in my experience because we found no problem with it. I highly recommend this TV/DVD player combination for the kids or for a guest bedroom.

What's not so great: Channel changing
Good picture & sound. The dvd feature is much improved from the same model made 3 years ago. You have to change the channel slowly. If you hit the button several times in a row the tv seems to lock up & you have to turn it off & back on.

What's not so great: Picture sometimes too dark; can't use cable remote with it yet.
I needed a small, price-conscious TV solution for my home office that could also serve as a desk monitor in a pinch. The price was great. The picture at times has some issues that I haven't figured out how to solve yet. And I'm not yet able to make it work with my Time Warner cable remote. But it's great for the limited use I make of it.

This item worked right from the box. It does not like cold temp 30-45deg F. the DVD work fine when item warmed up.

Recently purchased the 19" Dynex LCD HDTV DVD Combo for my computer room/spare bedroom. The size and picture quality are great - and the price was a winner. I would have given the review 5 Stars but I haven't tried the DVD yet so cannot comment on whether or not it works in this review. Best Buy always has the products I am looking for.

What's not so great: over heats and static in picture.
hello i bought this tv for m daughter and son, so far this tv have given me problems.. when this tv gets hot, it becomes static.. i sent it out for repair and it will cost me 695.00 to repair.. sooo.. it exceeded the amount that i purchased the tv for.. i did not buy the warranty , didn't think there was going to be a problem, but i under estimated it.. do not buy this tv unless you buy the extended warranty.. or it will cost you.. I do not recommend ths tv for any one.
