What's great about it: good price and easy to install
I am not good with computers and all the accessories that go with them except this was very reasonably priced for my needs and very easy to install. Now my kids can use their laptops anywhere in the house without bothering me while i'm on my desktop. I would recommend this router to everyone.

What's great about it: it was really easy to install
What's not so great: it must send a signal to the cable company
This is the little router who could. The only reason I got this is because I bought an iPad WIFI only and didn't want to have to pay the cable company even more money...so I asked my tech savvy friends and they explained what I should do.
I am not a heavy user, just go to G+ hangouts and play games from time to time and this works just fine for me. But my cable company called, suggesting that there was "trouble" with the service..so I think they detect that I have installed this. <shrug>

What's great about it: Been running for a few months, and it's reliable so far!
What's not so great: Nada
I go install and diagnose routers and modems and connections all the time, and I definitely approve of this one. I installed one for my grandparents, performed well, so I bought one for myself and love it! Very easy to set up and manage.

Installation was simple and router works perfectly. I realized that the problems I was experiencing prior to purchasing this model were caused by my previous router (I owe my internet provider an apology).

What's great about it: Has sufficient memory storage for my needs.
What's not so great: Compatibility issues, slows down my PC
I upgraded from a 250 GB Passport to this 750 GB My Passport Essential SE due to need for more memory storage. I have frequent problems with error messages that my USB device is not recognized and then I have trouble printing. I have to unplug the AC adaptor to my laptop and unplug the Passport from the USB port, turn off my laptop and then restart it to get things to work again. This is a nuisance. I never had this problem with the 250 GB Passport. This device also slows down the booting up of my laptop considerably. I turn on my computer and then go do something else while I'm waiting for the computer to boot up and be ready for use. It takes little time to boot up when I disconnect the device from my computer. I'm really not sure if I would recommend this particular external hard drive to a friend or not. If I did, it would be to a friend with comfort using technology.

What's great about it: The low cost and high speed
What's not so great: Requires A/C power only with no battery capability.
I purchased this router to use when traveling and at locations where only a wire internet access available. I have an iPad and experience times when no wireless access was available. This router allows me to use the wired access to connect my wireless device to the internet. Serves my purposes great at a very affordable price.

What's great about it: Easy set up, affordable, nice looking.
What's not so great: Drops signal, can't use more than 1 device at a time, short range.
I might not have read the description properly but this router would not work when more than 1 wireless device was in use. It also would not work for a wireless laptop when the desktop that it was directly connected to was in use. It also would drop the signal for the wireless laptop frequently causing me to have to trudge upstairs constantly to reset it even if the laptop was the only device in use. I tried repositioning it to different areas upstairs to no avail. I now have a Linksys E2500 and i do not have these issues so i would recommend spending a little extra money and getting the Linksys router unless you have only 1 device and a small house or apartment.
