What's great about it: Good way to have a fireplace where one can't be installed
What's not so great: The packing return slip was not in the box should I ever need it
It is a nice decorator touch but in a large room with high ceilings you need to be fairly close to it
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Looks great and adds a neat look to my bedroom.
What's not so great: Not very powerful, fan contantly runs which can dry air.
I really like this heater due to how it looks and the location in my house thatit is in; It can be wall mounted or has a stand. How ever it doesn't pump out a lot of heat very quickly. After running for a while it will heat up a nice sized room to a comfortable temperature. There is a timer to turn off the unit but, while it is on, the fan is always running even if the heating element is not actively heating to the temperature you set which can dry out the air in a bedroom sized room. Assembly was easy to convert it to the stand; just a few screws and screw in some light bulbs. The base one of the light bulbs, i got in the package, was faulty and broke off in the socket. The unit looks fine with only one light bulb and i have yet to contact the dealer so i have no comment on customer service. The fix to the socket should be easy and require pliers. All in all an OK unit if you are looking for style but don't expect it to heat your house by it's self. Good for turning down the house central heat and just heating my bedroom at night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: great looks and does heat a big size room
What's not so great: the unrealistic crackling noise
I have had the heater for a week, No problems with the heater and the flames.The flames have three adjustment.s.,,,to agjust the glow, The fan is a little noisy but that is expected and the crackling noise isnt too realistic. I shut the sound off..problem solved. Other than the two mention the unit is working up to expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was never able to get the fire to display on the screen and the heat would stop working after 30 sec. Returned

does not heat or blow like it says, you have to stand right in front of it and then thats not good, sent back to best buy maybe defective.
