ive bought in the past week about 4-5 pair of headphones, these are def the worse. they don't have that snug fit into your ear, some of you may actually like it but I absolutely hated that. sound quality was actually pretty bad compared to even the $15 Sony headphones. they distorted when I cranked the volume up on my iPhone 4 with deeper bass. yeah the cable that comes with it is annoying. if someone paid me $20 to wear these while working out I wouldn't wear these I literally took em off because I hated them so much in the middle of my workout. I wouldnt ever recommend these to anyone even if you got em for $5. there is much better out there.

These earphones block out noise rather well. If they are used outside then I have turn down the volume so that I can at least hear what may be near me such as a car.

First a plug is broke, second has a bad sound, third the volume control is unconfortable because interferes with my routine, I´m dissapointed of sennheiser.

What's not so great: the service I got from the store.
First, I need to mention that I ordered this item on-line to be picked up in the store. I did not realize until later in the evening, when I got home, that the store gave me the wrong item. It was inconvenient to have to return to the store to pick out the right one myself. There was no one available to help me find the correct one for which I had originally paid. No one came around for me to ask, who did not appear already preoccupied. An no one came to see if I needed assistance. Fortunately, after much time, I finally located the correct one.
As for the actual item, I am actually quite pleased with it. The ear pieces fit comfortably, and do not fall out. It is nice that there are three sizes available for different size ears. The sound is also nice and clear. I particularly like the on-line volume control, which is able to go louder than my own I-Pod allows me.

I bought this as a gift for my son. He works out at the gym, runs, travels a lot. He loves the earpieces and the style and color. He said that they conform to his ears better than any he has had. He likes that he can hear well, too. The cord is not a problem with him. I am glad I bought this model.

I have small ears. Standard Apple ear buds are painful, and I have trouble finding earphones that stay in while I am running. These do the job. the little fin fits perfectly, and somehow helps keep them in place. The sound quality is fine by me, though I am no audiophile. They are extremely comfortable. For the price I thought they were a decent value.

These headphones aren't much better than the standard earbuds that come with any iPod. Sound quality wasn't anything to rave about, I'd say they're on the same level as the Apple earbuds. I was quite disappointed with the design of the product, I had expected it to have some sort of shape to make it stay in your ear better, sadly, I was mistaken. It seems like they are just a larger, squared off set of apple earbuds with tiny rubber fins on them that accomplish next to nothing. Even with the smallest covers they hurt just putting them in my ears, Apple earbuds will usually start to hurt my ears after I've had them in for several hours. They will stay in your ear fairly well, but It seems to me that is only because you have to shove them into your ears to get them in in the first place. I have a cheap pair of in-ear headphones that are much more comfortable and stay in my ears even better and those weren't marketed under the premise of being "work-out" headphones. Really, save your money and go buy a cheap pair of in-ear headphones and they'll probably work just as well if not better.

I love these things! The sound in these headphones is phenomenally better than any of the other earbuds out there - I've used other brands of workout headphones, but I have been most satisfied with these. The sound quality is excellent with decent base. They have a perfect fit - they don't fall out while running and I've worn them on a 3 hour bike ride with no discomfort. If you workout regularly then the 50 dollar price tag is worth it.

Unlike the other reviewers I find these earphones very comfortable to wear and the fins are part of the reason. After initially not being able to figure out exactly how to wear them and thanks to a very helpful sales person, I got them inserted correctly into my ears and they fit wonderfully. She also recommended that I use the largest size fins for my ears and that helped as well. They fit under one of the bones in your ear and help hold the buds in place.
The sound quality is excellent! It's not quite as good as the over-the-ear pair of Sennheiser's (PX 200) I have which sound incredible but I believe that's the difference between over-the-ear and in-ear headphones. I've never worn in-ear headphones that sounded as good as over-the-ear headphones and I've tried many of them.
If you're into exercising, even including walking, I would strongly recommend that you try these earphones.

I was looking for a decent set of headphones to go with my iPod Touch. The sound is much clearer than the Apple headphones. I thought those were decent and better than most headphones out there. I also like that these are not they type that get inserted way into one's ear. I do not understand the need for fins, but the fins can be removed if desired. There are also different ear cusions. A larger size seemed to improved the sound quality.
My problem with the standard Apple headphones is the headphones with the built-in mic and volume control would go flaky after getting wet with sweat. Voice control would come on even though the feature was disabled. My iPod would go into shuffle mode, stop playing waiting for input, or shuffle rapidly through songs. These headphones solve the problem so far.

What's not so great: The ear fins can get a little irritating during extended wear
These are great headphones with decent sound quality. The ear fins can get a little annoying in your ears after a long walk/run. Overall, they are the best sports buds I've tried before.
